"Hey Nova. You know the news right?" Xarden started growing a frown.

"I left the Organization to get some rest. I woke up something inside me that I regret during that giant battle. I need it to go back to sleep before I fight with anyone I would protect anymore. That includes you."

 

Yea. Maybe you should.

 

"Problem is I don't feel any different. I can't fight without becoming merciless. I just recently burned a house down for protecting a kid on a bike. " Xarden's frown became bigger. "It doesn't seem to be going away."

 

He patted his shoulder. Don't worry. You'll feel better.

 

Xarden's face brightened. "You're right. I bet I just need more time. Now have you seen Xeal at all Nova?"

 

Nope. Haven't seen him for a while.

 

"I really need to explain." Xarden's frown came back. "I just can't fight now. If I do, I do not remember who I am. All I am is a son of darkness, not Xarden."

He looked at Haku. You can join Telren and his crew of critters. We on the other hand, is going to kill him.

 

"Haku!" Garxena sneered. "I should've killed you last time! Get out of here or you'll regret it!" She pulled out her Oblivionblade. I know how strong he is. I need Xeal with me, but he's resting from using too much power making the Oni-Tori blade. Garxena stepped into a battle stance.

 

Nova headed to the rooftop and saw them battle.
