Iggy peeked out from behind the counter. The statue had gone again.
"<I'm here.>" Iggy said, before realising the boy wouldn't understand him. He jumped out and walked up to Harry and Kirara, still nervous about the idea of drowning while dry.
"<You want something?>" he said, not caring that he wouldn't be understood.

"I needed to know someone else was alright." Harry gripped Miroku's staff in his hand, Kirara jumped onto his shoulder and rubbed her head against his. He smiled and looked out at the water, hoping they were alright.

Inuyasha felt something stared behind him and turned around, he was surprised, then readied his claws.

"<...oh. That's great, but how does knowing I'm here he- you know what? Never mind.>" Iggy said, giving up before even finishing. He laid down where he was, wondering what was going to happen.

​

 

Letting go of the chain that carried him up, Gil landed right beside Moka and glanced down at the water. "if they keep on being reckless like this soon there won't be any of us left" Gil said and sighed "I knew this place was something to avoid but my overconfidence took over" Gil said sighing once more "I really don't know why I do such things" Gil said

"Scott.....Pilgrim? Jolyne...Kujo? Who the heck are they?" Alice threw her hands in the air, waving them and her sycthe around. "All these new people....!"

Dead Master glanced at Chrono, putting her own sycthe away. "Familiar? What's that?" For the first time, she was actually curious. Not that she showed it of course. She just dismised it with a smirk, like she would any other time.

 

Luffy rolled to the side, barely avoiding a piece of metal ripped from the side of the ship. "Dammit..."he muttered. Scanty and Kneesocks were attacking the dark god with all their power. He smirked. "Let's go. Gomu gomu... Pistol SHOTGUN!"he launched a powerful punch towards Dark Falz, strumming his arm like a guitar as it whistled through the air.

Scott peered back. "Honestly, we should probably go back to see what's up."

"How do I explain this..." Chrono said in response to Dead Master's question. "A familiar is basically an animal that's been given a human form with magic. If they sign a contract with their creator then they start sharing the magic of their master, meaning that while their existence means that your total mana is reduced, you've got a servant that will help you with whatever the contract says until the terms are complete."
"At least, I think that's right. I've never needed one myself, and probably never will since my sister has one."

The child's attack was surprisingly strong, the god had to admit. It would have to attempt a different method, or else these three might actually destroy its body so soon.
It dived under the water, no longer visible to any of them.

"Careful... it won't have given up so easily." Howzer warned, though he was more curious than worried.

The water tore open as Dark Falz reared its head out of it, directly next to where Luffy was on the ship, letting off another howl and firing another beam directly at him.

Howzer stepped directly in the way of the blast, preventing the pirate-boy from being harmed, but sending himself flying backwards off of the opposite side of the ship.
Taking the hit just to maintain an illusion. How foolish I am. he thought, as he hit the surface of the water.

OOC: And Scott's gonna have to have his part paused for today, since neither Bushy or I would be able to play the part accurately enough; we've not read that far in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Sorry Britishism, but Luffy's still active at least.

"Cool!" Kamina announced enthusiastically. Although whether he had completely understood was debatable.
Yoko looked at Defense... "I know this world is weird... but what was it that changed things? Do you have any idea?"
Simon just sort of sat there. Picking at his food.

Yusuke also stared at Defense. "I sense a dark energy from you." he revealed. "It feels alive, like it has it's own personality, but I guess that's probably you."
He shrugged and stood up, rolling his shoulders. "It feels completely different to What's her face's normal energy. But I've met a lot of bad people, and I can tell you don't have any bad intentions.
So whatever is fine with me." he added.

 

Inuyasha would have said something witty before he attacked, but being underwater, he chose not to do. He swung his claws at the statue.

"Since Reinforce and myself both use darkness as out element, sensing it isn't surprising. But since we use exactly the same power, I don't know why you sense a difference. The only difference between us should be how we use it." she told Yusuke, before turning back to Yoko.
"Thank you for just accepting it like this. I... didn't think you would so easily. As for what changed it, it may have been something to do with the foreign energies people have been using. Different energies from different worlds... we have no real clue as to how that could affect something."
"Actually, maybe that's the difference you noticed?" she asked Yusuke, though really it didn't matter much either way.

Axel walked slowly up the water-covered stairs, trying to reach the surface.

On the fourth floor, opposite the fast-food seller that Iggys had hid among, was an arcade, where one of the terminals still somehow had power to it, the source of the fourth floor's only light.

While the others seemed to nod around him, Yusuke revealed what he felt: "It feels strong... wild and wilful... Like it wants to dominate and take control. Indeed... it could be the source energy to what... um..." he searched for a tactful word. "What gave you life."
He thought back, to familiar feelings. "It feels somewhat demonic. As I said though, it feels separate to you, but a part of you."
He shrugged. "But whatever, it ain't you, so we don't got to worry."
He muttered, not really caring about the details, he was just saying what he noticed and what he assumed.



OOC: Isn't the mall pitch black right now? I don't know why some people are acting like there is light and that they can see. :/
The only source of light would have been the Statues eyes... which are admittedly gone now.
But just yeah, thought I'd point that out to some people. :/
Also, the water is still rising. That's another point for people to remember.

 

Harry gripped his chest and looked at the water, "Inuyasha.............." Kirara grabbed the hem of his robe and suggested they move on, Harry nodded and walked with her to find a source of light. He held onto Miroku's staff as he walked.

Miroku made movements to Akiza in the water that they should split up and try to find the statue on their own. Akiza nodded and swam to one of the stores on the second floor, Miroku also swam to one of the stores.

 

Even in pitch darkness Inuyasha would have been able to see a bit, being a dog-demon. Everyone else would be struggling to see, but able to see things directly in front of them.
Also, the fourth floor has a minor light source in the arcade game.
Also, the water won't reach the fourth floor.
Dante and Moka were on the third, last I saw. Something might want to be done about that.

Iggy followed the boy closely for now, figuring it was his best chance of surviving.

"I wonder." Defense said, not really giving anything away.
"In any case, if you're all finished we should probably get moving again." she suggested, standing up.
"Kamina, maybe you should take the lead? It is your team, right?" she teased. "Oh, but first; Yoko, wasn't it? Would you talk with me privately for a moment?" she asked the tall girl.

Rein finally awoke on her own, yawning as she did.
"Rein is also fine with it." she said groggily, as she walked up to the table and ate her own meal... rather quickly.

​

 

OOC: I'm aware that you'd be aware, but I was saying it to benefit the others who might not be, as some were seeing pretty clearly despite not being part dog or what-not. 'Nor would some realise it won't reach the fourth floor... after all, I don't think how many floors there are was ever specified, 'nor the fact that it wouldn't reach that floor as, for as far as people have been told. The water is simply rising with no signs of stopping.

Kamina seemed smug to hear that recognition, completely unaware of the teasing. "Yes! As Team Gurren's Mighty and Manly leader, I declare we shall move out!
But first, make sure we have everything and have taken care of whatever needs to be done!"
Yoko sighed and looked over to Reinforce... uh... Defense, a little confused by what she could want to talk about.
"Uh... sure." Yoko said gesturing to one of the spare bedrooms. One of the ones without the naked Zombie remains.

 

OOC:Short post is short.

Luffy swore under his breath. He dashed to the side of the boat and extended his arm out to Howser. "C'mon, take it!" he yelled, keeping his eyes on Dark Falz.

 

Miroku swam when he saw the message, he wondered what it meant. Pondering in his mind, Miroku tried to figure out the message, it could be the beginning, the meaning, the middle, or something else.

When Akiza found the message in the store she was in, she immediately thought of her own father, but began to wonder what the message meant. It could be about a father, Akiza thought to herself and looked around for a sign or a clue.

Harry looked around for some kind of light, using Miroku's staff as a guide stick to help him.

Defense entered the bedroom with Yoko, closing the door behind them as Kamina led the others.
"I know we have other things we should be worrying about right now, but I wanted to ask you... about my appearance." she began, before explaining.
"At the moment, I look exactly like Reinforce, with subtle differences that are both difficult to notice unless looked for. I think I can change how I look if I know what I want, but I might not be able to do it more than once.
So my question is... how do you think I should look?"
Of all things, this probably wasn't what Yoko had expected to be asked.

Harry came across the arcade, where the still-working terminal sat at the back of the room. It seemed to display the title screen of a game, but at this distance he wouldn't be able to make it out.

Axel finally climbed out of the water, dragging himself up to the fourth floor.
The water stopped just below the floor, seemingly unable or unwilling to go any further.
"Thank Zetta..." he gasped, taking deep breaths of air.

Howzer stretch his own arm in an identical way to Luffy, gripping hold of the boy's outstretched hand and allowing him to pull him up.
Dark Falz slipped back under the water quickly, dissappearing from sight yet again.
A moment later, a dark shadow began to form underneath where Howzer was in the water...

Miroku looked around and saw the statue, he was surprised and wondered what happened to the eyes. He looked back at the message and looked at the statue, wondering if there was a connection. He wished he could talk underwater so he could tell Akiza he found the statue.

Harry adjusted his glasses and looked at the light, "It seems there's some light here! Great!" Kirara gave a happy mew.

 

Tsukasa leapt upon AGito Tornador and the rider Vechile blasted for the floating island and reached there within a matter of minutes as it landed on the ground and tsukasa got off.

Dante grabbed Moka by the arm and gave a grin. "Ladies first!" He said and swung her around before throwing up to a floor, the water having reached his midriff within a matter of seconds, but Dante had to smile, he saw innocent white panties witha cartoonish bat imprinted upon them. "Now that's what I like to see, why couldnt' all my experiences be like this?" he thought before noticing the water rising even more upon him, he could easily get out but he remained

"Mr Dante!" Moka called out from the fourth floro she was unceremoniously thrown to as he put his index and finger together and gave a small mocking salute with them as he spoke. "Get going babe." then jumped backwards, flipping as well as he went over the railing to the lowest floor that was submerged in water before he felt a unfamialr sensation, he had 'drowned'

Moka clenched the railing a bit hard, leaving a hand print on them before runnign to the acrade's light which was the only source now.

OOC: Don't drown your own characters. You got the right one at least.

Something suddenly happened to Iggy, sending him flying into the water, having rocketed straight past Harry and Kirara first.
<No! Not me! I won't go like the rest of them!> he thought as he struggled against the water.
