The Tybic Redemption

"Well, you see. What is the Darkness? It's made up of all the negative emotions that are inside people right? And fear is certianly one of those. Along with needless rage and hatred." She explained. "Of course we all need that little bit of darkness, but still. And as for all those other 'scary things' if you weren't afraid of them then you'd have no worries about them. Everything that was scary about them wouldn't be. Though, there's nothing wrong with being scared from time to time. Expecially when it comes to wolves and Heartless and dangeruos things like that. You just have to learn when to choose fight and when to choose flight."

 

Tybic thought about this. So, if those are what make up darkness... then I need those to use darkness? He thought and then looked up at Natali. He gave a small smile. "Yeah... You're right..." He said and then looked around. "Umm... Where are we going?" He asked.

 

"I actually have no idea." Natali sighed "I've been looking for a way outta this place for ages with abosolutly no luck what so ever...."

Ninth warily inspected this "DiZ". He sure was enigmatic, but he looked nothing like the man who had ruthlessly hunted down his colleagues. Seeing the puff of blue smoke out of the corner of his eye, he instinctively pulled a gun on the target, to see Yen Sid, and Mickey kneeling at his feet. Embarrassed, he put away his weapon.

Turning back to DiZ, he said "We're located in Yen Sid's tower. Approximately 120 feet up, on the uppermost floor. Oh and, please, be careful with that Darkness of yours. Us normal people have a bad reaction to it." He sighed and added to avoid the whole your-gonna-get-eaten-by-the-darkness speech, "And no, I don't fear it or reject it. I've seen much scarier."

 

DIZ chuckled. "I see." He turned and bowed to Master Yin Sid. "It is an honor sir." DIZ said showing his respect.

Ooc: Hey who's going to be Yin Sid? I can be if no else is. But if you guys want to be it's fine by me. Then again I guess we'd need Destined's permission either way.

 

OOC: I doubt Yen Sid will be leaving this here tower, so it doesn't matter either way. But, we might want to let The_King do it, because... I don't know what we're doing here. >_>

 

Ooc: Probably a good idea. I don't really know either, but if I had to guess it's to be filled in on what's happening in the worlds (Heartless, Nobodies, Villains, Organization, etc...)

Tybic thought. "That Diz guy said something about other worlds... But is this-... Nah... At least I don't think so..." He began muttering to himself in thought.

OoC: A fine astutement, i'm only Os right now, but i can take over for Yen Sid if you like.

BIC:

Yen Sid stared at the gathering of some familiar, and some unknown class of characters and smiled.

"It seems as though we have much to discuss, please; join me in my study. It would seem as though hope is on our side." He said, while motioning the group into the hallway leading to his study.

 

"Yessir." Ninth said, as he warily entered the study. He slowly inspected the surroundings. Nothing threating, just books and shelves. There did seem to be a second room, but the door was closed, so he couldn't tell what was inside. He sat down in one of the chairs, his antiquated armor crunching as it bended.

 

"Now then," Yen Sid began, as he positioned himself down into his grand plush chair as the other's slowly trickled inside, taking different seats, be it the carpet or leaning against the wall, "I understand that you all have questions, please, I'm here to help."

 

"Hmm. Well, do you know how we could get at Maleficent? We're fairly certain she's the one who's been causing the stars to disappear with her heartless. Uh, how about you guys?" Ninth asked, directing the last bit to his companions. He didn't really have any questions, but Ninth could make a guess or two at what some of the others might ask about.

 

"Other worlds? I didn't used to belive much either... Then I started thinking, and then everything happend so quickly..."

 

"Well I do have a few questions. I've been thinking about this next one for a while. We probably all know that the darkness is the shadow of light, which means that without light, there'd be no darkness. But isn't it the same the other way around? Without darkness, there'd be no light. And if that's true, then if we completely destroyed the darkness, the light would go out too, right? If that also is true, wouldn't nothingness be supreme since it's all that's left?" Atropos asked Yen Sid.

 

"It is difficult to say who is behind these attrocious attacks, or why the stars are vanishing one by one. I fear that it is to the will of something far beyond what we can fully understand right now."

Yen Sid nodded. "Without the dark, there we be no light, yet both feed off of the other in tandom. One can never fully remove the light or darkness from oneself; they can only become lost. Trapped in a world between light and dark, of just being. It is not made of anything, yet is completely nothing. It is this paradox that minds our universe together."

He glanced around the group, watching as every pair of eyes were fixated on him. He cleared his throat and continued. "It is this paradox, i believe, that has thrown us into this unlikely meeting, where we must combat the good and the evil that are trying to bend the rules to their ends. I fear it the blade may have already been awakened..."

 

"And assuming that nothingness is also a power like light and darkness, where does that fit in?" she continued. Quickly, she eyed the keyblade. Then she went back. Soul Calibur's core began to glow. They're coming... she thought.

 

"Well.. nobodies. You know, those white things that DiZ destroyed? It's the power of nothingness that lets them function the way they do. With no heart, they can't use either darkness or light." Ninth said. He didn't know much about this "paradox" but he certainly knew plenty about nobodies.
