The True Keyblade War

A figure floated in darkness. Silver eyes opened, glittering, giving color to the darkened realm. My head.... I wonder...
'Keyblades of Dark and Light will lock in battle,
Creating this war of shadow.
All hail the Darkened Ruler,
That which will be much more crueler,
A fate that cannot be avoided by Keyblade wielders of all places,
Shall find their fates and lives all covered in ashes.'

Those silver eyes closed and the pure darkness fell away. Standing, she opened the dark corridor she'd fallen asleep in and exited into the twilight covered Central Station. Who were these people? Odd, she'd never seen them around Twilight Town before. Thankful to have her hood up so they couldn't see her face, she took a few steps closer toward them. It was odd how she was dressed, the coat she'd made to protect herself from darkness and light, but that wouldn't matter long if they were apart of the prophicy.

 

Glen pointed his blade at Xero. "I'm nobody's tool. If you take one more step closer,you'll lose an arm" he threatened.

 

Xero's eyes squinted in confustion.
"What are you talking about?" She asked. Xero walked toward Glen some still not letting her guard down.
"I'm searching for someone. The guy who kidnapped me. After I passed out he may be the one who dumped me here. Other than that I have no idea how I got here. That guy also took something of mine and I need it back. I was wondering if you could help me out." Xero asked holding her hand out to Glen.
"Please."

 

Glen was slightly suspicious. "What does this guy look like?" he asked.

 

Xero thought for a moment.
"I cann't really remember much, it happened so fast. The guy was bald and had orange eyes. That's all I can remember." Xero said crossing her arms.

"Fine. I'll help. But if i see you raise your weapon even once against me, i will kill you" Glen said in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.

 

Xero gave out a laugh.
"Dude, you really need to lighten up." She said with a small giggle.
"That was only a friendly competision. If you want to see me get real, heh, well I'd reather you didn't." Xero said.

 

Glen raised an eyebrow. "The moment you see me not hold back in the slightest would be the last moment of your life. I'll help find this guy,but only because i want to find out more about him" he stated.

 

Xero gave Glen a smirk.
"Heh, fine with me. Now how the hell do I get out of this place?" Xero said with annoyence.
"I've been trying to get out for days but I can never find some kind of 'EXIT' sign in the sky or whatever! You know what I mean?" Xero said with a small twitch in her eye. She was almost going crazy about the fact that she could never get out of the town.

 

"Well that depends. Where is it you wish to go?" Glen asked.

 

"I don't care where! As long as it's away from this place! I can't stand it here any longer!" Xero sad flailing her arms around in anger and annoyence.

 

"Calm down geez" Glen said. He opened up a dark corridor and walked through. He shouted back through it once he was in the other side. "Just walk through!". He looked at his location. He was in a jungle.

Xero ran through the corrider and then bumped into Glen as she ran out. She noticed that they were on a cliff and almost fell off it.
"HOLY SHI-!!" She shouted as she regained her balence.

 

Xenree watched two of the people leave Twilight Town. Her curiosity spiked as she followed them. Xenree dared not use their corridor and instead opened her own. Stepping out onto a tree, she frowned under her hood. Odd place to go to. I wonder what they're looking for? The longer she stood there, the more aware she became of a pair of golden eyes staring at her from beside her in the tree. A beautifully spotted jaguar padded closer to her. It's muscles rippling under that golden fur. Her head turned quickly toward the large cat and jumped down from the tree, landing with an obvious thump behind Xero and Glen. The jaguar followed, a snarl starting to rumble out of it's throat, teeth bared in a feral snarl to complete the picture.

 

Glen spun around. HE saw the jaguar. "Wow..that's one angry cat" he said. He didn't turn to look at Xero or Xenree. "If either of you want to help,don't let me stop you" he said.

 

Xenree nodded silently. She beckoned the jaguar toward her and watched it's golden eyes flick from Glen to Xenree again. Xenree wouldn't use her Keyblades on this creature. It pounced and Xenree summoned her Keyblades. Sharp claws met with Dark Void and Last Judgment as she held the large cat off her.

 

Glen watched the jaguar leap onto Xenree. He sighed. "Why is it these things always go for other people and not me" he questioned. He grabbed the jaguar by the scruff of its neck,and using the strength of darkness,he pulled it off Xenree.

 

Xenree released her Keyblades and gave a mock bow to Glen and the jaguar. With a hand over where her heart would've been, she stepped back until her heel came over the edge of the cliff. The jaguar and it's cat reflexes landed on it's feet and charged it's way back toward Xenree. She smiled under her hood with sheer pleasure, glints of silver shone from under the darkness of her hood, "As darkened blade pierces darkened heart, a lack of heart gives the user." she mumbled as the jaguar leapt at her again and her Keyblade, Dark Void, lifted and pierced the jaguar's heart.

 

Glen was shocked. "That...that was just an animal! You didn't have to do that!" he shouted.

 

She tossed the lifeless body over the edge of the cliff and turned her back on Glen, soundlessly starting into the jungle. She wouldn't speak, though her mind rattled off all the questions she had yet to answer. Xenree felt a smile creep over her lips under her hood and slightly turned back to Glen as if to ask whether or not he was going to ask any real questions.
