The True Keyblade War

Mixt walked in slowly, drinking in his surroundings. When he finally came around the corner he saw Xera holding out her keyblade but was not alarmed. In fact he hardly reacted at all, glancing at her almost like her threat was just another part of the room. "Very interesting room. I hadn't thought that anything like this would exist in this castle. The residents here would be too scared of the darkness to do such research." After saying that Mixt walked directly passed her, obviously having no fear of her attacking him, as he made his way to the table with the research notes.

 

"Xera wait!" said Zurinax as he followed her. "We have to stop the darkness from killing the worlds"

 

@Mixt: Xera smiled at the boy's apparent lack of fear. "It is very refreshing to meet someone who is not afraid of the darkness." Xera then put away her Keyblade and walked over to the table next to Mixt. "And as for the residents, perhaps they have reason for their fear. Perhaps the world wasn't always the way it is now." Xera picked up one of the old dust-covered pages and read: "The World is much more managable now. Or, maybe I should say, worlds." "I destroyed the world," she said. "When I recieved my Keyblade, the World seperated into worlds. The lights stopped falling, too. All those pesky little lights that used to grace this oh-so-fair city stopped shining the day I released the dark." Xera was quiet for a minute, and then she laughed. "I can't imagine why I'm telling you this. I don't even know who you are. Perhaps we might remedy the situation. My name is Master Xera. I serve- (Or, used to serve) under the Master Yasahiro. And you are...?

@ventus108: OOC: I'm confused. Did Zurinax follow Xera to the castle, or is this before she went through the portal?

OOC again: Once again, I did not write 'Keyblade' twice. I don't know why the forums are doing this.

 

OOC: I understand. I rarely get repeated words but I've had vanishing words and words end up as entirely different ones that what I thought I typed. It isn't two hard to find the messed up moments.

IC: "I am Mixt, master as well. Nice to meet you." Mixt answered as he thought about what she had said "I don't have such an interesting story I'm afraid. However I do find yours intriguing. You must have some power to you yet if you managed to cause all that when you received your key. And this is some research you are doing. Or rather were doing. I must say I'm impressed, but that brings me to a question. It is obvious nobody has stepped foot in the place for many years. What brings you back here now? Nostalgia? Or something more?" Mixt asked as he shuffled through papers, always hungry for information.

 

"Not nostalgia, no. I have returned now to complete my research after being interrupted and... unavoidably detained. When I worked here before the world was seperated, I had three other masters for co-workers. Let's just say that when my research was discovered they weren't too pleased with the results. However, I have finally returned and shall start over again. Now what about you? Do you work here in the castle? You certainly don't seem the type."

 

@Marushi: He followed her

 

"I do now" Mixt said, finally turning to face her. "Let me help you. I'm very interested in this research of yours. And it seems three-fourths of your team is-- no longer here to help, so any replacement you can get surely can't hurt. Especially considering what you have already told me. If I had wanted to shut this down I could easity do so." Mixt said, hinting at blackmail that if he was honest with himself he wouldn't follow up on. He didn't want this research to go to waste like it would if the castle residents found the lab, and she seemed far to useful an ally for him to silence. Not to mention that the act of silencing her would likely be a difficult one.

 

"I guess that willl do. I actually had been hoping to find an apprentice, but you seem much too formidable to be titled so lowly. However," here Xera lowered her voice so as not to be overheard by Zurinax. "There was a boy in Twilight Town who also had some control of darkness. He just is hanging out with the wrong crowd." Xera then turned to Zurinax. "I'm sorry to dissapoint, but I'm not going to join your quest to stop the darkness. In fact, if that is your goal and you will not be moved, then you made a mistake in following me here. Now that you've seen this lab, and heard me speaking, I cannot let you leave." Xera moved quickly, and before Zurinax knew what had happened, she was between him and the door with Keyblade drawn, ready to fight if he tried to escape. "However," she said, smiling. "I will let you leave without a fight if you tell me one thing. Answer my question, and I will let you go. That is, I will not stop you from leaving. If Master Mixt still says you stay, then stay you shall. But you will have one less threat to deal with. Now, do you know where the heart that is freed rests? Where does the heart go when released from it's carrier?"

 

Xera's words echoed in Glen's mind. don't let the light overcome you...what could that person mean by that? I'm not going to let anything overcome me if i can help it.. he thought to himself. "Ok,where to next?" he asked.

 

"Well looks like theres nothing else here so I guess you can chose Glen"

 

"Hmmm...stay here for now. We haven't done a thorough search of this place. I'm going to take a look around" Glen said as he began walking towards the plaza.

 

OOC: Hey everybody. I'm going to be off the internet for awhile, so like Xera is... gone somewhere. I'll be back in next week or so.

 

"Okay lets go"

Xero just looked at the boy with the blade in hand. She didn't seem to be frightened by him. She was rather amused. She laughed some.
"I'm Xero," She said with some laughter, "Now what would a suspisiuse loking group like you be doing here, huh?" She said just walking towards Glen with no fear, but not letting her guard down. She was rather skilled in sword fighting.

 

OOC: It's all good lol
IC: Glen lowered his blade slightly,gripping it in case he needed to use it. "Looking for keyblade wielders" he replied,keeping his eye on Xero. He wasn't afraid to share information. Why should he be? As far as he was concerned the person looked like no threat to him at all.

 

Xero smirked. "Funny..." She said looking at her hand. Suddenly a keyblade materialized in each hand. One of deep blackness the other of vast white.
"I happen to be one."

 

Glen was suprised by the appearance of the keyblades. "Well,i guess so far we're succeeding then" he said, his voice lacking any emotion.

 

Xero pointed one of the blades at Glen.
"But my question is why do YOU want the keyblade?" She said.

 

Glen shrugged his shoulders. "Gives me something to do. And i strongly recommend you lower your blade too" he stated.

 

Xero became amused after Glen said that. She made a small smile.
"I can't halep but think that, that may be a challenge?" Xero said. But she lowered her blade.
"Fine, I'll let you take the first shot." She said leaving herself open to any attack, "Go on. I want to see what strength you possess." Xero said fire in her eyes.
