The True Keyblade War

Dang it. Xera should have expecetd that she could also read her mind. Oh well. There was no backing down. "Tracy is someone else I know. I think I already said that. And as for me having potential, what?"

 

"You've got potential that's all." MiMi considered this woman. She said she used to work here..... she'd never heard of her before. "There are different kinds of mind readers. Beginners who don't know squat about mind reading, but have connections with people. Then there are amateurs who are learning and can read feelings and a bit of the mind. Then there are basics who have not mastered everything yet but have the basic idea (hence the name Basics). I'm a master. we know everything about mind reading and mind readers and can teleport at will, and uncover things people haven't even thought yet. But the best kind are the Specials. They can transmit there thoughts into someone else's head, only the strongest minds can block there mind powers, and sometimes if you've been a special for a long time you can control peoples bodies. Like I said, I can teach you if you like. Right now I'd say you were at in armature level."

 

"Gee, thanks." She said sarcastlcally. "But I have more important things to do. Then she paused. If she could read peoples minds, transmit her own thoughts into other people, and even control their bodies, it would certainly help in her quest. She carefully avoiding thinking on what her quest was (She had already learned to gaurd her mind with Tracy). Telepathy would be a very ideal skill. She had always been a fast learner, so it wouldn't take very long to cover the basics. She could probably teach herself from there, as long as she had some simple understanding of the craft. "I've changed my mind. Go ahead."

 

"I am the only one to tell you this because you yourself have said it. But, you are correct, I am Nobody to tell you who you are. For Nobodies cannot hope to be Somebodies..." Last Judgment hung in Xenree's hand as she thought, Fitting that this Keyblade would want to fight, whereas...Dark Void is not to be seen. I suppose I should've anticipated as much. Fight with the light, you can only be burned. Dark lightning surrounded Xero's other Keyblade and floated far beyond her reach above the square. Xenree lifted Last Judgment up over her shoulder, the blade pointing at Xero, "Well, lets see how much willpower you have left."

 

MiMi frowned at Xera's sarcasum, maybe this wasn't a good idea after all. Then again she was never one to back down from a challange. "The first thing you have to know is that mind readers are very emotional, ounce we get started its hard to stop." MiMi taught Xera the history of mind reading and the way it worked. She taught her to broaden her herizons and look beyond what she thought was possible. Xera was a good student, MiMi thought, attentive and strong. MiMi was very pleased with the progrese she was making.

Tracy on the other hand was struggeling to find Xera or Mixt. He headed to the castle, to wait at the entrance. If Xera or Mixt comes in or out of the castle, Tracy thought, he would know. And then he could confront him... or her... or them. tracy still wanted to see Mixt and tell him about what he had seen, and it was making him lose his focus. That was the problam with being a mind reader, you always went to far on every thing. That and he could never resist mind reading.

 

Xera had learned a great deal very quickly. "Well, thanks, teach." She said, again sarcastically. "It was great learning with you. Now, I really have to go. Bye" Xera left the castle. Now, to find the wielders. It wasn't very hard. She soon spotted them. Great. Yet another person was fighting Xero. She really would have to give it a try before the worlds were consumed. It must be fun, everybody wanted a piece of her. Amazing, she thought. Xero had been through who knows how many fights, and she still was as strong as ever. Hm. She must be stronger than she looks. Maybe that's why so many wielders picked on her. She didn't exactly look like a tough person. Just one more example about how looks didn't matter. Speaking of looks, where was Master Mixt? was he still sleeping on that tin roof in the slums? Ugh. Xera's thoughts turned to the past... Rae's past. What had happened? She couldn't really remember her life. Just images, really. She remembered walking through the corridors, she remembered reading in a well-lit library, and she remembered a face. Very like Mixt's, but different somehow. She remembered a sanctuary, a secret that needed keeping, she remembered... another face, a very small face. And then? Nothing. Waking up as Xera. The hidden labratory. The prophecy. Research written by Rae. Whatever she had been, she definately had done some interesting experiments with the human heart.

 

MiMi followed Xera. Of course now she knew that she'd been right about her but she still wanted to see what was going on and how well Xera mind read. What the? all of those people over there had keyblades? like hers but so diffrent. She was just wondering how this was possible when she relized that they were fighting. Two girls were up to their necks in keyblades and darkness. MiMi frowned, darkness sloved nothing at all, these people would kill each other, and if not the darkness would.

Tracy had also followed Xera, and he stayed behind MiMi too. Who was that girl? She looked familuir, what was she doing with Xera. And what was Xera doing anyway? She was just standing there watching. Tracy walked forward (trying to ignore MiMi, who had looked at him with a weird exprestion on her face.) and layed a hand on Xera's shoulder. "Remember me?" he said, smiling. "I've been all over looking for you. I need to tell you something, Rae."

 

Dang it. Xera had let her gaurd down and Tracy had found her. She turned to him and calmly removed his hand from her shoulder. "I continue to tell you my name and you continue to refer to me with a name that is not mine. Are you really that stupid? I would think that so experienced a mind reader would be able to remember a persons name." Xera turned away and continued to watch the fight. As far as she was concerned, anything that Tracy had to tell her was nothing she wanted to hear.

 

Xero charged toward Xenree and swung her keyblade at her. She had slashed at her chest.

 

Xenree laughed, guarding her body with Last Judgment. "Too hasty...must I teach you even how to fight?" she taunted. Retalliating, she slashed back at Xero, duplicating her moves.

 

Tracy shrugged his shoulders and appeared indifferent, but inside he was fuming with rage. Idiot huh. "Rae suits you better. And once you've heard what I have to say you'll feel differently.

MiMi didn't know what was going on, but she knew she didn't like this guy. He was a mind reader. That much was obvious. MiMi stepped toward Xera and cast Tracy a look of haterd. "Who is this guy, Xera? Why did he call you Rae? Why has he been following you?"

 

Xera decided to notice Tracy long enough to do introductions. "This is Tracy. He called me Rae because I am the nobody of a woman called Rae. I, however, am not Rae. He is stalking me because, apparently he has something to tell me. However, I don't think I'm going to listen." And now she turned back to the fight. He was getting angrier, she could tell. However, she also knew that he didn't know how she felt, because, thanks to MiMi's teaching, She was blocking him out of her mind. This would probably make him even more mad.

 

Nixck watched in protest, though Gexln still had his arm in front of him to remind him 'It's her fight.' His shoulders sagged as he watched Xenree and Xero, knowing there was going to be a loser and a winner..knowing Xero, and Xenree..well..he could only guess.

 

The fact that Xera was blocking him did make Tracy more angry. He was growing more angry with every passing moment. He couldn't remember the last time he was this mad, but he hid it behind a cold smile. "Now I'm not so sure that I'll tell you what I was going to, but maybe you would be intersted to know that I know about your son. And I know who he is." Tracy was feeling revenge for Xera's insulting him. "If you really don't want to know though.... well." Tracy turned and pretended to walk away.

 

Having looted the thugs that tried to mug him Mixt decided he had had enough of the slums and started his walk to the city. There wasn't much to be seen here so he figured his time was better spent looking over Master Xera's research again.

 

Xera was furious, but she also knew that Tracy was furious. That helped. She hid her anger (Not unlike what Tracy had done), and spoke to him. "And what if you do know? It has no real meaning for me. I guess I shoud be grateful to you, I wasn't really sure Rae had had a son." Xera made the distintion between herself and her other very clear. "I admit, I do not possess all of her memories, but I had suspected. And as for who he is, that also have I suspected. If that was what you wanted to tell me, well then. I guess you came all this way to deliver a message I didn't need hearing. But perhaps that's not the real reason you hunted me down." Xera summoned her Keyblade. She didn't really think that Tracy had come looking for a fight, but she knew that he was furious and would probably jump at the bait. Also, she knew that she wouldn't be able to keep up the calm indifferent facade if she didn't have an outlet. She didn't attack, however. Instead, she adopted a defensive stance.

 

Xero blocked her attack as well, then jumped back quickly. She sneered at Xenree.
"Tch, no thanks! Especially after you attacked me in the dark corridor. Why should I trust you?" She said with a glare. She then ran towards Xenree again, colliding her weapons with hers.

 

For a second Tracy looked surprised but then he started laughing. "You know nothing about it. That was only the first thing I wanted to tell you. The second thing is much more important and not nearly as easy to say." Tracy pulled out his blade. It was blood red and ocean blue, a large handle and only two spikes but a long blade. The chain was mint green and shaped like a large D. "I don't want to fight you Rae, but if it comes to that I will."

MiMi stepped between Tracy and Xera. "Let me fight this loon. I could take him down for you and make easier for you to join in that fight." she had been dying to fight Tracy since she had first seen him and this seemed like a perfect oppertunity.

 

Xera shrugged and put away her Keyblade. "Fine with me," she said, and stepped back to watch the two fights.

 

Immediately Tracy and MiMi launched into battle. Their keyblades were moving so fast that you could hardly see them. Both Tracy and MiMi were reading each others minds, and tuanting each other with what they found.
