The True Keyblade War

OOC: We haven't actually moved. We're still in the void.

IC: Without breaking his stance Mixt held up a finger on his free hand to tell him to be quiet. "My question is not without purpose. In fact it would be wise for you to consider the same thing. How many heartless have you slain?" Mixt asked him, although he kept his eyes on Xero.

 

Glen's gaze didn't falter. "Oh,i've slain plenty of heartless. Heartless are beasts,nothing more. They prey on the weak" he said,still speaking grimly.

 

"Great. Lots. Yes. Good for you." Mixt shook his head slowly in disappointment. "I figured one of you would be able to give me a good number, but I think I overestimated your intelligence." Mixt took a deep breath before suddenly switching his gaze over to Glen. Eye's locked on his Mixt positioned his keyblade over his own left arm and then sliced at it. However the damage was pathetic. It drew blood, but the damage was comparable to a properly sharpened plastic knife. Definitely not an actual keyblade. Mixt waited, as he watched his face. Trying to see if the gears would click or if he would need to spell it out for him.

 

Glen was shocked. He had not expected Mixt to cut his own arm. "Wh-why?!" he exclaimed.

 

Xera had calmed down a lot, and was now able to think clearly. Friendship for Tracy aside, her main goal still needed to be attended to. Darkness must consume all the worlds. Tracy was gone, there was no way he could have survived, she thought. So now she could focus on the prophecy. The walls between the worlds were collapsing, the Keyblade wielders were destroying the worlds, and with all the fighting going on, it didn't look like there would be many survivors. In fact, Xera didn't think she'd have to do anything. The worlds would take care of themselves. Well, not really, but you get the picture. So Xera left her lab, and left the castle to go see what had to be done to Radient Gardens.

 

"Think you fool. If my agenda was to kill you outright you wouldn't have time to ask these questions. You would have to try and figure it out with even few clues and less time. And to think, I thought some of you had the potential to be decent allies. I'm not convinced that half of you would be worth the trouble of corrupting." Mixt said. Although he was annoyed he still wore the same smile he had when it began.

 

Glen glared at Mixt. "Nobody will ever corrupt me. I'm nobody's tool" he stated angrily.

haha, Nobody's tool? Xera's a Nobody! Is Glen Xera's tool? lol, sorry. just playin' with words.

 

Mixt laughed. "We'll see about that. But for now lets return to this battle." Mixed flicked his arm out to be extened towards Glen and at the same time allowed the momentum to rotate the blade so when he caught it, it was front handed again and pointing at Glen. "What is it that I'm trying to get you to see before our fight begins?"

 

"You're trying to mess with my head,making me think you're not as bad as i seem to think you are" Glen said. "I may be wrong,but i don't turn on my friends,no matter how dark other people make them seem" Glen stated, blade at the ready.

 

"Did I give that impression? No, that is not what I'm saying at all. You can have your pathetic friendship. Those shackles just make my job easier. No. Lets start with the basics." Mixt held up his cut arm on display. "What can you learn from this? Other than a questionable mental stability, of course." Mixt asked.

 

"The only thing that i gather from it,is that you're trying to stall me from cutting you limb from limb" Glen stated.

 

"And there is your problem. So closed minded. Once you've decided on something you blind yourself to aught else. And here I'm trying to teach you something about who you are going to cut limb from limb. But if you would rather charge in blindly you may be my guest." Mixt said, his cruel voice made it hard to tell if it was mockery, sarcasm, or any other tones really, but it was obvious that Mixt was not taking Glen all that seriously.

 

"If i were you,i'd focus less on the insults,and more on the fight!" Glen shouted as he ran straight at Mixt.

 

"I will follow your lead. If you've given up the oh so strenuous task of using that organ behind your eyeballs, then come at me and I'll present you with a demonstration. Though it might not be in your best interest." Mixt said. His smirk grew ever so slightly, becoming amused at how naive he saw Glen.

 

"You..have no idea just what i'm capable of" Glen said,swining his blade directly at Mixt's head.

 

Mixt jumped back to dodge and then rushed forward to attack, aiming to hit something non-lethal like his arm. Oddly though, Mixt's swing didn't have much power to it. It almost seemed lazy, or like he wasn't really commited to the attack; but the drive in his eyes said otherwise.

 

"Hmph. You'd best put in more effort, or else you'll lose this fight" Glen said, jumping back out of reach of Mixt's attack. He then stopped,unsure of what to do next. He adopted a defensive stance.

 

Mixt flipped his keyblade to be back-handed as he extended the same charge and delived an upwards verticle slash, again focusing to the side to hit an arm or a leg.

 

Glen yelled out as he was slashed right along his right leg. He flipped backwards to avoid any further damage,but the landing on his leg sent exruciating pain throughout his body. Glen's skin started to turn completely black, his eyes bagan to glow yellow, and he had entered Dark Form.
