The True Keyblade War

Tracy was falling in darkness. Or was it light. He was dead. Then why was still feeling? Breathing? The part of him that was connected to Xera was desperate to go back. And the part that had seemed to die for Nick still fought. but what about the rest of him? Yes, the Tracy that cared only about himself wanted to go back to. So why didn't he?

OOC: I guess I wasn't clear in my post. Mixt stabbed Nixk back there. It was a very similar move to Ansem stabbing Maleficent. Not hugely relevant though.

As Mixt saw Xera run he shook his head slowly. Poor fool. What happened to her resolve? The person the contemplated killing him simply for being in her lab. He didn't have much time to reflect on it when he saw Xero's action's. Mixt flashstepped over Xero and plunged his keyblade into her chest, performing the exact opposite move on her as she was doing to Nixk. He also could of done it to Nixk, but his heart might not have been able to take it and a dead man was of no use to him. No, he would eliminate the threat before working on recovery. With any luck Xero herself would be helping.

 

Xero only looked at the ground for a long while. She felt like she couldn't even look at Nick after what happened.
"I did this...because of a foolish mistake I made..." Xero said slamming her fist into the ground as darkness surrounded her fist as it hit the ground. She calmed down some after.

Xero suddenly felt a stabbing to her backside. She screamed in pain trying to look back.
"Y...you...!" Was all she was able to say at the moment.

Nick looked over, but he couldn't see what Xero was seeing. He just winced in pain, staring at Xero.

 

Xero began weezing as she tightly held her chest from pain. She looked over at Nick, "I guess...this is it..?" She finally said.

 

Mixt smiled mischeviously. "All is fair in ove and war." He said as he withdrew his blade. "Fight as hard as you like. No matter how bright, every light casts a shadow. Even when you seem to be winning it is but an illusion. In the end the darkness overcomes all. Mixt stepped away a bit and took a seat. "I'm here to help that process along. Now, I would rather you two not fight to hard. You are worthless if you die here"

 

"Ungh.." he squeezed his eyes together, then opened them again, he tried to look over at the voice, but he couldn't see anything since he couldn't move a single muscle. He put his eyes on Xero. "Yeah..I would've died..anyway..

 

Mixt twisted his hand and seemed to grab hold of something. Then in veil of smoking darkness appeared what seemed to be a potion. This one however was pure black. Rolling it over Nick he said. "You don't have to. The choice is yours." Mixt smiled coldly, loving the situation. He stared at Nick, wondering if he would take the darkness infused potion in order to save his life.

 

Nick felt the potion weigh down in his hands. He felt his breath slowing down, as if someone took a hot roller pin and slowly squeezed out his lungs..or what was left of it. He wanted to smash it on the ground, but he didn't have the strength to lift up his hand. He was never going to give in, the potion himself would kill him either way. He looked at Xero, his eyes full of pain, pleading. He felt himself slowly drifting away from reality, as if life was a dream.

 

Xero fell to the ground beathing unusually quick, it sounded like she was trying to catch her breath but also couldn't breathe.
As she kept gasping for air she tried to crawl over to Nick giving him her last source of light.
"I... have...n..o...furth..er...use...for it...no..w..." She weakly said making it fade into Nick.
Xero then gave Mixt one last glare as she transformed back into her Anti form.
"So you're the one who called me...?" The 'Other' Xero said as she stood up. She looked down at Nick with a laugh. "Humans...so pathetic."

 

He felt his breath come back..but he quickly lost it again. He shouted, "Xe..ro!" barely managing the word. She gave in for nothing...he would die in a few minutes at the most. He slowly reached up and grabbed Anti-Forms arm. He summoned his keyblade and put it in the Anti Forms hands. "For..Xero.." he said, his voice and eyes seeming far off. "Just..end it.."

 

"Called seems too strong a term. Makes it sound like I need you to do something. I just prefer you to your other side. She was getting in my way. You can do whatever you see fit" Mixt said to Xero's anti.

 

"Xero? Ha!Ha!Ha! She's gone kid, lost in darkness." The Anti said mixing in with Xero's voice. But the Anti only stood there glaring at Mixt. She then pointed Nick's keyblade at him with a deviuse grin on her face.
"I think you chose the wrong person to deal with." She said.\

Xero felt weightless as she drifted through the darkness bearly keeping her eyes open.
"This...is it... my death...my fading..." Xero closed her eyes and felt nothing else to fear. She wasn't able to fight off the darkness again... without the light, she was vaunerable to darkness.
"I can't...I just can't...I'm sorry, Nick..."

 

OOC: I might have to get off the computer.

 

OOC: NOOO! D: You will not get off! *pulls you back into the cyber world*

Mixt got back to his feet and continued watching. The elements were starting to come together again, action was stirring and he was likely going to make a few tweaks again. "It would be such a shame for you to die here Nixk. You showed such potential"

 

"Tch...Nixk isn't here!" Xero's Anti said as she held the blade up more.
"I suggest you give Xero back the rest of her light, the one that you stole and replaced it all with darkness."
The anti paused for a moment. What the hell am I doing...? Why am i standing up for this fool?

 

Nick looked at Mixt, "It's Nick, not Nixk."
Nick tried gasping for air, but nothing was there anymore. He looked into the Anti-Forms eyes, knowing Xero is still somewhere in there alive..or at least he hoped. He pulled Anti Form down with the last of his strength, squeezed her pulse, and put all his light, all his power, all this light that kept him from darkness, into Xero's body, including the little Xero gave him, and he closed his eyes, his muscles becoming limp.
