The True Keyblade War

Impressive. Now time for a final test. Mixt summoned swarms of neoshadows to take the place of the shadows and then some, given his rule of growing numbers. Ordinarily this would be childs play but neoshadows came with a few tricks that most heartless don't. First, they like to dive in and out of the ground, making attacks useless if timed wrong. And second, the like to feed off their own energy meaning that killing one heals all the others. Area of effect attacks were just wasting energy. And as an added bonus when they killed a neoshadow he would spawn a novashadow in it's place. Not quite as agile, but considerably stronger and still able to leach off of fallen comrades. Mixt knew full well that this would not stop anybody here, but it would be interesting to see exactly how long it took for them to get the attack sequence down. However It seemed that master Xera was taking care of one new comer so this test was going to be just for the man that had followed them into the lab earlier unless the other's here took notice and decided to come in. Mixt himself was 'fighting' them but was purposefully being ineffective on them by attacking them in groups and rarely finishing one off.

 

Tracy blocked her attack and slashed at her legs at the same time. Tracy heard all of her thoughts as she thought them. "It is the name of your true self, you've only forgotten." Tracy was still smiling even though the moment was so serious.

OOC: I had to throw in a star wars qoute at some point.

 

Xenree felt Glen leave Deep Jungle. She herself felt left behind now. Keeping a tab on the boy would be difficult if she couldn't keep up. Shoving the Siren away from her, she touched a hand to a tree, opening a narrow dark corridor. Perhaps later, old friend. She smirked at her Heartless and slipped through, sealing the corridor behind her. Her footsteps echoed through the darkness as she walked, wondering where the boy could've gone.

 

Feelings of fear were replaced with feelings of anger as Xera blocked the attack to her legs and swung her blade at Tracy's head with a whole new force. How dare he read her mind as if it were a book to be opened at will? Didn't he ever learn manners? She was losing it. "Control yourself." She didn't realize until later that she spoke out loud. She needed to think. She was feeling anger now. Curiosity, exhileration, fear, anger. What was happening to her? She attacked him, but not as hard as she had been doing. She simply tried to strike him from one side to the other.

 

Tracy blocked all of Xera attacks. He laughed at her anger, her fear, and her slipping composure. "To me all minds are books that can be opened at will." He stated. his elbow still stung a little but otherwise he was completely unharmed. Now it's time to show rae a new power. Tracy thought. Then suddenly Tracy was behind Xera slahing at her arm.

 

The pain that suddenly spread across her arm released a new emotion: rage. She turned and unleashed a flurry of attacks with all her being, alternating between attacking with her blade and her bare hand. Then, in an attempt to finish the fight, she raised her keyblade in both hands and darkness spread over the skies. Several heartless came up out of the ground all around Tracy, and started to attack him.

 

For the first time in a very long time Tracy was afraid. But the next minute fear was replaced with arrogance. He was, after all, a mind reader. Tracy blasted apart heartless without even touching them. And then somthing happend that brought the fear back. He saw that Xera would attack him with a very powerful move. The darkness inside of Tracy stirred, but Tracy tried to push it away. He knew what happend to people who exposed themselves to darkness.

 

With sudden resolve and accuracy, Xera pointed her Keyblade at Tracy and shot a beam of pure darkness straight at his heart. On the off chance that he might block it, She rushed at him right after shooting, Keyblade ready to pierce his heart.

 

Tracy was hit with the darkness but it didn't kill him, it just brought all of the pain and sufferings and darkness rushing through him. Tracy looked up through the thinning darkness and saw her rushing at him with her Keyblade. He dived aside and plunged his black blade strait into Xera's already wounded arm. He then collapsed under the pounding darkness.

 

With a scream of pain, Xera saw the man collapse and realized she wasn't far behind. All the rage she had gathered ebbed away, and her usually calm demeanor returned. How had she lost control like that? It wasn't like her... Then, thinking about the strange experience she had gone through, she blacked out.

OCC: We need to regroup sometime so how are we going to this or not.
ICC: "That's the last of them and that was fun but we need to look around now" said Matt as he ran off into the jungle.

 

Xero lead Nick and Glen to where she remembers being last before her kidnapping.
"It should be around here..." She stated as she looked around. She wandered in her thoughts also.

 

"Should be? Don't tell me you've forgotten where you were kidnapped" Glen stated. He also began to look for any signs of a struggle.

 

"My memory was wiped! What? Did you expect me to- AAH!" Xero exclaimed as she tripprd over some kind of weapon.
"Ow...huh? Oh hey! I think I've seen this before!"

 

Glen walked next to Xero and stood next to her,looking down at the weapon. "Where from? What is it?" he asked curiously.

 

Xero stood up holding the weapon. She gave it a good long look. It looked like some kind of...other worldly keyblade...?
"I think the bald creeper hit me with this." She said with a small frown.

 

OOC: We don't necessarily need to be in a big group (unless your plan for the plot has an event with everyone together). All the same we are all at Deep Jungle except Glen, Nick and Xero; we just aren't in the exact same area. Getting us together mommentarily isn't hard at all, but if you want us to remain as a large group something needs to happen because several of the characters are trying to kill each other. Really I would find it to be easier and more enjoyable to just let us conflict with ourselves unless you've got a good plan to go off of.

IC: Noticing Xera pass out Mixt moved over to her. Refusng to break their facade, he did not dismiss the heartless or even order them not to attack her. He simply decided to take on the role of a body gaurd. In some ways this was better because it allowed him to hold back for a reason. Master Xera might not be observing with him, but not much could be done about that now. For now he would go it alone and watch how the battle unfolds.

 

Glen thought for a moment. "That thing,looks like a keyblade" he said,stating the obvious. "But..i don't get it. Most keyblade wielders fight for the light..fight for what is right..why would he attack you.." Glen said,thinking out loud. He was reminded of his earlier encounter with Xenree. Is it possible..that people who use darkness can use keyblades? he wondered.

 

Trixis saw the group she was with buggered off elsewhere. She sighed sitting on a tree trunk that was knocked over from Xero and Nicks battle. She closed her eyes and stretched. She layed back on the trunk, her leg feeling pain now from that tumble she had when she found the two.

 

Xero shrugged, "Beats me. The thing he took from me was my D-Link. Dunno why he wanted it so bad though but I need it back."
