The Training Academy

He put his arm around her and led her out.

 

" Ugh he's lucky I didn't burn him to a crisp." Lira said.

 

"He's just an idiot, don't worry about him."

 

" I can't just let that go. He makes me so mad." She said fire still in her eyes.

 

"I'm sure there is something that will make you happier." he said. That's all he wanted, to make her happy.

 

" Like what?" She asked.

 

"A hug or a kiss?" he suggested.

 

She fire in her eyes slowly died away. She leaned in and kissed him. Then said with a smile, " You sure know how to cheer a girl up."

 

"I'm just glad you're happy."

 

" Well thank you for caring about me." Lira said.

 

"You're welcome." he said, wrapping his arms around her.

 

She leaned her head on his shoulder.

 

He smiled and rested his head on her shoulder. "I love you." he whispered.

 

Lira didn't know what to say. She was speechless.

 

"You alright?" he asked.

 

" Y..yeah." Lira stamered.

 

"Is it really that big of a shock?" he asked.

 

" Well no ones ever told me that before. If you can believe it not even my parents." Lira said.

 

"That's just not right. Your parents should say to you at least once a day!"

 

Lira shrugged and took a couple steps forward. " Nope not my parents, you could say they were a little bit odd. But I still loved them and I knew they loved me, they just never told me." She said.
