The Time Spiral

"What makes this destination so special?" He asked. His question was filled with a combination of anxiety and curiosity though he was mostly curious about the world she would be sending them to.

 

Hikari smiled widely. "This is a Lost World. Ironically, you can't lose something that doesn't want to be found," she said cryptically. "Regardless, this World is quite special because it is outside of Time itself. It is very special... the inhabitants don't age a year after reaching adulthood. They are, in a sense, immortal." She explained, approaching them. She pulled out of her pocket three glowing shards of crystal. "These will allow you to enter the world." Hikari told them, handing the trio the slivers.

 

Kaito looked at the gem in his hand. "So they basically stopped aging, sounds interesting to me." Considering how that this was the only other world he's been to, he was quite surprised to find out about a world where the inhabitants have stopped aging.

 

Hikari looked to Kaita and nodded. "The Heartless threaten to break through their barrier," she said gravely. "If they manage to destroy their barrier, the inhabitants will become a victim of Time itself. They will die... and those who survive the sudden disruption will be victims of the Heartless. So far, the barrier has a few cracks; not bad enough to break the barrier, but enough to allow a few Heartless to enter and threaten the inhabitants." Hikari informed the three, her face expressionless and her eyes filled with disdain. She turned to Sess and gave a small smile. "I'm glad it's your group that's going," she added happily, her shoulders relaxing. "Since Atlantis will need someone who can understand the very essence of Time."

Sess looked at her. "How convenient," he muttered cynically. The youth turned to Katia and Kaito. "Are you all ready?" Sess asked them, not bothering to look to see if they were ready or not. Hikari slipped a piece of paper to Katia, which was the name of their Gummiship.

Solace…

 

"Let's this show on the road." Kaito said as he followed behind Katia towards the gummi ship. I wonder who's going to drive the ship anyway. He thought to himself.

 

Hickari sighed once again. Seems like nobody's wanting to be my partner.. he thought sadly. He pulled himself together and stood up straight. If nobody wants to be my partner, i'll be a team of one! he thought as he began walking towards Hikari's office.

 

Skylar looked at Jason and then to the stuff he handed her. She was... Annoyed. Seeing as the first group was already created she was frustrated that it took this long for her to find a team of 3, mainly because the whole mess with Jason and Sess made it impossible for them to team up.
"No thank you." She said lifting her hand and stepping back. She still sounded patient but god only knew how long she could keep it like that. "Jason, I want to ask if we could not be in the same team. It would be best in my opinion. Besides, there are plenty of other wielders you can chose from." The pinkette tried to give a small smile so she didn't seem so mean to the boy. "Well good luck and be careful." She nodded and waved, turning quickly and walking off before he could say anything.

Getting to the other side of the room she looked around. To be completely honest there were only a few people left to choose from, not a wide verity as she hoped though... Her eyes ended up falling upon a male who was showing off his "skills" with magic and the keyblade.
Taking in a deep breath, and letting it drag out, she walked toward him.
"Hello?" Skylar spoke up coming up behind him. "I'm looking for a partner as well."

 

Hickari stopped, sure he was hearing things. He spun around, only to see Skylar talking about a partner. He wanted to agree immediately, but he had a reputation to upkeep, at least he did in his mind. He casually leaned to one side, using his keyblade to support himself. "And why should we be partners?" he questioned.

 

Alister watched the wandering Wielders with interest. He was tall and handsome, with a dark complexion and thick shoulder-length hair, which was a rich purple. His eyes were a mesmerizing violet, practically shining. He wore a black coat, dark blue jeans, a red shirt, and white sneakers. In his left ear was a red earring. He didn't join a group yet, but he planned to.

The Wielder yawned and leaned further back against the wall, grinning with anticipation.

(OOC: I slightly edited the Opening Story in the Sign-Up thread, so you all can get a little bit more insight about what's going on/what's going to happen.)

 

Sess looked at Katia, then to Kaito, then nodded. He wore a mischievous grin as he spoke. "Alright..." Sess said. "I'll drive. Just remain seated, buckled, and above all... don't shout 'Punch it, Chewie!'" He quipped. They arrived at the Docking Bay, where Solace sat waiting for them. It was a small red rocket with gold bands and bolts, with a single engine at its back. Sess looked at it with disdain. "By Nomura, it's hideous..." he muttered, shaking his head.

 

Kaito looked at the ship and shrugged his shoulders. "A ship a ship I guess." He made his way to the other seat in the ship and strapped himself in. He was slightly bummed that he wasn't driving,though it was probably for the best since he had his own doubts about his driving skills.

 

Sess shook his head again, frowning. After Katia and Kaito entered the ship, Sess stayed outside for a moment, studying the ship. If I keep this ship, I'm upgrading the crap out of it. Sess thought, smiling. The smile fast faded as he entered the gummi, approaching the pilot seat. He began flipping switches and pressing buttons. "Hello, passengers, this is your captain speaking." He said, buckling himself in. "Welcome aboard the USS Solace. Today's in-flight movie is 'Star Trek'. Enjoy the flight as we soar through the Darkness towards Atlantis. Now please don't scream and enjoy the ride." He mocked, pressing the big, shiny red button.

Solace lifted off, soaring from the docking bay and leaving behind the Land of Departure. As they flew, the trio would see the stars, which were truly far-off Worlds, much more clearly. It was all encompassing, a sight that would inspire awe and insignificance. All-in-all, it was a beautiful sight.

 

Skylar looked at the male who had turned around to look at her.

Hackari I think his name was...

"Because by the looks of it we both need to partner up with someone to be able to continue." She said with a little smile, her voice soft but big as she spoke to him.

BiC: "I guess so, but don't we need three?" Hickari questioned, raising an eyebrow and standing up straight as he asked. He wondered who the third could be, not sure who he'd want to be with.

 

OOC: oops, im so sorry *bow*

Skylar nodded, " yes we need one more person but I don't know who it would be. I was just trying to look for a second person." She said, looking at him and then looking around the room for one more keyblader.
