The Time Spiral

Jason thought to himself "For the love of god, why this guy!" Jason grumbled quietly before nodding in agreement with Skylar/ Three people is what we need. Your a person. So why not."

 

Kaito looked around at all the keyblade wielder firming there teams around him. Since he didn't know anyone he supposed he'd have to ask someone. He headed over the Katia before asking. "You mind forming a team with me?" He asked.

 

As soon as he had heard that he could decide who he was partnered up with, Hickari started to ponder who he would want for partners. Lets see..who's going to weigh me down the least? he thought. Suddenly an idea popped into his mind. "So, who wants to pass the test the quickest? If you want to BE the best, you have to work with the best!" he shouted. After no response, he tried again. "Okay, who wants to be my partner?" he asked.

 

Sess was quite comfortable with being alone. He didn't care much for the Exam, and felt as though it was a waste of his time. The Wielders meant little to him, nothing more than unnecessary obstacles in the way of his goal. Sess yawned, preparing to lounge about until Skylar and Jason approached him. Skylar asked him a simple question, but the silver haired youth stared at her as if she had asked him about the square root of pi. "And why should I join you?" Sess asked, leaning against the wall casually. "There are plenty more Wielders around." He added, emphasizing his reluctance to even be a part of a squad.

 

Skylar nodded, "Tru, there are others. But I wanted to ask you." She said, a little smile tugging at her lips. "Besides, you would have to pick a partner sometime today. Those are the rules." she stated, not in a "know it all type of voice" but nonchalantly and polite. He seemed like a hard head, and she didn't know any other way except for the "kind but blunt honesty" route to go. "I think we could make a good team. That is if we team up."
Skylar had the feeling that maybe he wouldn't join them, that her talking to him was a waste, but it couldn't hurt to try, besides she really wanted him on their team. With Jason, Sess and her, she was sure that they could get to the worlds and save them, hopefully before the darkness could get a total grip on it...

 

Jason shifted off of each of his feet before he said. Dude, weater you like it or not, somehow we're going to cross paths again. I would rater it be as rivals in the final area. Few others give off the feel of power you give off. Iwould like good copitision, why I chose Skylar as a team mate. I don't care if you reject, but it will be disipointing not being able to say we had the best for a team this place could offer. Decide now or we part ways until we cross our paths in the next world." Jason glared at Sess, saying these words with a smoozeing, yet stern tone.

 

Sess cocked a brow, as if Jason had just challenged him. "Rivals?" He asked, feigning acknowledment. "Look, George," Sess began with his retort. "I don't care if you think you're top dog, the reality is... you're nothing more than a pain. This 'shred of wisdom' thing you think you're doing? It's nothing more than ignorance that you're molding just to impress your crush here." The silver haired lad nodded to Skylar to emphasize his point. He moved away from the wall, giving Skylar a strange look, perhaps something akin to an apology, as he began moving across the room.

 

"That's it. I have had enough of you!" Jason fired his gravity magic at Sess's feet, to hold them to the ground. " I honestly don't care. I would have rather picked any one else in this room, but she picked you. I wanted to help her because I think of her as a smart person, seeing as I know who she is. So if she picked you, I would try and help her any way I could, but you blowing us off, and worse insulting me and making assumptions of who I am is more than enough to tick me off pal, Now beat it before I get real mad." Jason released the gravity wave at Sess's feet and left in the opposite direction. "And to add it up." Jason fished "That was schmoozing, like I would ever conciser a slime ball like you a rival." He walked away from the area.

 

Skylar watched this whole **** storm take place. She looked to Jason then to Sess then to Jason again and after he stormed off she looked to Sess. She was going to go after him, to say something, maybe to change his mind but then she saw the other female, Katia get to him first. "Hm, well I guess it was never meant to be." she said and tilted her head. She needed one more partner so that the 3 were complete and they could start their journey. Turning away from Sess and Katia her Violet eyes searched for someone new...Someone that Jason wouldn't get pissed off with and they all could work as a decent team.
men, she huffed.

 

Jason grumbled as he looked for a water cooler of some kind in this hall. "Egotistic maniac thinks he has everyone's personality and everything about them in his mind, and that he is too good for anything!" Jason complained and rambled quietly until he came across a cart with snacks and drinks of all assortments. He grabbed himself a few cookies and a cup of milk, and grabbed Skylar some cookies as well, and headed back to the area she was in, when he arrived, he said "Sorry, guys like that always get on my nerves." and handed her the plate of cookies he found for her. "All I could find in this place were sweets and milk. Sorry it's not much."

 

Hickari sighed. "Well, i suppose if you can't impress them with words..." he started quietly. He leapt into the air and fired a fireball at the ground, then quickly summoned his keyblade and threw it right at the fireball, causing the fireball to explode in mid-air in a firework-like sort of fashion. He landed on the ground neatly, keyblade still in hand. "So, now that i have your attention, who wants to be the partner of yours truly?" he asked, rather impressed with himself.

 

Kaito watched the whole incident between Sess and Jason unfold. Looks like he's not big on teammates. He thought to himself as he watched Katia approach him and asked if he wanted to join them. Personally he didn't really care if he did or not, but he decided to let her attempt to get him to join.

 

Sess continued to walk away from Jason as he used Gravity, despite the added weight to his feet. He didn't listen to him. Why would he? Jason was nothing to him. If he chose, Sess would break him like a twig. But he didn't. Jason was a kid who didn't understand the true magnitude of things. When Jason thought he had won, he relinquished the spell. The Wielder was half-tempted to freeze Jason in the currents of time, to remove him from the present for a short amount of time. Sess smiled sardonically at that, but was interrupted by Katia's approach and question.

Before he could answer, however, Hickari performed his firework show. Sess's eyes narrowed as his lips curled into a thankful, and ultimately wicked, smile. "What about Pyro the Fancypants Clown?" Sess asked, half-mockingly.

 

Sess laughed. "I have an idea who..." he said bitterly, brushing away a lock of hair. He continued to look at Katia and nodded. "Fine. I'll join you..." Sess said at length. Katia was quiet, yet determined, and so she was a better choice. He knew he wouldn't be able to leave the place without partaking in the Exam, so he chose her and her less-than-annoying companion. However, Sess sensed that Katia had a superior-sort of personality. He gave her a knowing smile and crossed his arms, half-daring her to boss him around.

 

Kaito nodded as he followed behind Katia and Sess. He was certain that they would make a good team, now all they had to do was find whoever summoned them here in the first place.

 

Sess raised a brow, then shook his head. The silver-haired youth found himself looking forward to this Exam, finding it worth his time afterall. He followed after the girl, ignoring Kaito (though he did acknowledge the young Wielder's existence for a short time). As they left the room, they were the first to enter Hikari's office. The young woman, who most likely wasn't as young as she appeared to be, was leaning against a wall as she gazed out the window. Though the Wielder's didn't see it, Hikari's face scrunched up.

"I smell magic..." she mumbled. Hikari turned to them, smiling. "That was fast," she laughed, a double meaning in her words. "Since you're the first group to appear before me... I'll give you a very special destination." Hikari told the three.

Sess hung back, arms crossed and eyes closed, appearing as nonchalant as he had back in the Chamber of Awakening.
