i think i can see where it would be connected to the symbol of the crown. cuz remember how xehanort's heartless had the heartless symbol? well then sora's heartless (the one that would look like an actual person and not a shadow heartless or antiform) would have the crown symbol...but i dont think sora's heartless could ever be bad...sora's too nice XD

i think childofadvent has the right idea on the heartless..........and sora WAS a nice heartless....remember when a whole bunch came, they all moved, but one?we all know thats sora, but he didnt want to hurt them.thats why...or maybe he was just staring at kairi :p..just kidding,.....wow.he really cares even as a heartless!!lol!!anyways, the symbol could just be another roman numeral..that would suck...i'd sorta like a new symbol for 3.like the ones you had mensioned.and if it was a crown, it would be a heartless,a nobody and soras necklace crown...what do u make of that?maybe it means that sora would die,and then roxas would stay......because he is a nobody..and contain soras body in his own way.then that would mean that roxas would be the prince.my brother mensoned that there might be three keyblades:the king blade (king mickey) the prince blade (sora) and riku's.........dunno what thats called...but thats just me.i didnt pay attention to the symbols.........i'll have to watch next time i see that scene.

remember in the secret reports it saids a person is made from a heart, mind, and soul. my guess is that when someone loses their heart, they separate into three different forms. a heartless a nobody and something else.(some people call them chasers, but thats not confirmed) the symbols represent those three forms.

I don't really think it's a plot hole, I just think that they represent the three specific groups, the Heartless, the Nobodies, and the crown for Sora and everyone who helped him defeat the other two.

Except the Nobodies are the body, soul, and mind. Remember that Yen Sid said they could think and plan, as opposed to Heartless who just act on instinct.

I'm sure the crown represents just a normal person, which splits into both a Heartless and a Nobody when its heart is stolen.

Please don't bump ancient threads, though the render Roxllen provided is interesting.

Well, what he draws IS the crown.
However, in the book, a similar drawing is shown, and it shows a circle with spikes on it, which I believe is the Dis-soul symbol :p

    it was Sora's necklace...

about the heartless thing, he held onto his heart, with the help of Kairi's, because they're one.

Look, in the strategy guide, that symbol was in the bestiary. It represented non-heartless non-nobody beings. Like Seifer.

I think it was the symbol for Kingdom Hearts.Notice that it's the same symbol on Sora's neclkace, the key part of the KingdomKey,and on the end of the chain for Ultima Weapon 2.
