I usually draw my best when I don't try and I'm bored. These are a few pictures I've done and colored. All digital art was done on Gimp, while pencil ones were by a lead 0.5 pencil, any pen I can get my Kermit fingers on and Crayola color pencils

I drew the sketch first in Piano class and then used Gimp to color and lineart it. I thought I could just do this easily on Gimp, but no, Gimp doesn't actually have the :'I don't wanna really try, but I want it to come out ok' brush.

This was one I did a couple of days ago because I was bored and wanted to sketch; I ended up finding a way to do that brush, the lazy but ok one I was talking about, pretty fine.

This one, oh jeeze, I was trying to do Dave Strider, but then the sketch started to look like Ken Amada from Persona 3, and after I decided to go with Ken it turned out a lot more different.

I sketched this one out in English class while we were watching a movie, I think it was Romeo and Juliet, and then I forgot about it for a while. I came back and finished it about a week or so later at home. The angle is sorta off to me, but I like it.

Any Criticism is welcomed and tips would be helpful.

I can't give you criticism on the digital art but I can on your sketch.
Don't draw on loose leaf paper.
The lines tear away from the subject and when you erase it's easy to smudge the paper.
Try blank paper. This will make the subject more apparent.
Also make sure you darken pencil lines before coloring. This will make it "pop".
Hope these tips help. Also, art pencils are easier to shade with and to draw with.

Ah, I see and understand, I guess this is where a lead 0.7 pencil comes in handy, to make the 'pop'.
Thank you! I appreciate the tips.
