Kasha watched as the others slowly started out of the cave. Leaving. 'How do we know they aren't waiting for us?' She pondered to herself, and jumped hearing Norras approach her. She looked over her shoulder at him and turned around facing him.
"How come they are coming again? How come the hunters are coming again? Didn't they get enough thrill taking my mother away from me?" She suddenly started to ask Norras, standing up tall. She was stiff as she listened to the hunters in the distance. Kasha looked at Rayne and also started out of the cave but stopped waiting for Norras to catch up. She didn't feel much like running, the liver she had eaten though gave her some energy. Enough to get away. Putting aside adrenaline.

 

Rayne saw that most of the pack was out of the cave already. She waited until the last wolf emerged and then followed behind everybody else. She was going to watch their back, and keep guard just in case. Humans were tricksters, just like foxes. You had to expect the unexpected with them. Rayne's ears twitched as she picked up the slightest noise. The hunters were not nearby, but she could still smell them quite a ways off.

 

Norras felt the urge to chuckle warmly, but perhaps this new one may not take it so well. "Humans will come and go. They trade our fur and eat what's left sometimes. I have seen these trades in times I have wandered into the town, hidden in the bushes." Norras explained. He was definately odd sounding. A wolf that went into Human Towns? Either Courageous or stupid would be the things he probably leaned towards. "Some Humans, however, choose to over hunt, and take what they cannot give to others or even themselves. They wipe out entire packs sometimes just for thrill." Norras added with some deep regret. "Not all humans are hunters though, young one. Some wolves even think they might be as intelligent as we are." Norras added with a chortle. He didn't really seem to believe such a claim himself.

OOC: Wait...what if I were one of the hunters?!? Like, a few of us Rp as hunters, this way nobody is fighting something they have complete control over. No deaths of course, but it'd be cool.

I could be a Hunter character. Just ask, and I'll give you a template.

 

Andrew continued running along with everyone else. He was starting to get worried about everyone else and chanced a look behind him. He didn't like what he saw. Kasha was nowhere to be seen. Andrew slowed down to a halt. Where is she? Is she okay? He turned around and started to run back. He didn't want to lose a friend so quickly. As he started running back, he took deep sniffs of the air and hoped he had enough time before the hunters found them. Must....run.....faster!

 

Alaura slowed down and then came up behind Andrew. "Keep going," she encouraged him. "Stay with the pack." She knew Rayne was behind them, and felt safe, despite the current situation. This wasn't good. She could still smell the humans. And with what Norras said, about them being as intelligent as wolves, she was getting worried. Why would they want our fur? What did we do to them? Anger and fear flooded over her as these thoughts went through her head.
She snapped back into focus.

 

"But.....but.....she......he....they....ah.....okay...." Andrew followed Alaura's instruction and continued running with the pack. He didn't look back. He continued running again, his healthy heart pumping supplying blood to all parts of his body and his lungs giving him a gulpful of cold air with each breath. She'll be fine. She'll be fine But Andrew figured deep down that he might not see Kasha again. And we never got to play either...... He kept running and soon made up the distance he lost by running back. Wait.....Miss Rayne will be able to help! Andrew huffed a sigh of relief. Kasha would be fine. But he didn't want to get his hopes up.
