The Spell/Those Darn Kids....

Kyrine looked Demain up and down. "I think so..." she said, almost whisper. She stood up by Demain. Strangely, she was calm. She wasn't bothered about the changes... just interested. She looked down at her paws and turned them over to examine them better. She looked behind her to see a tail sway back and forth. She moved her tongue around her mouth and felt two sharp fangs.
"This is not good..."

 

Demian groaned and held his back, it hurt. His spine thinned, and a line of fur spung up along it. "What's happening to us?" He asked, seeing the phone again. "Oh my god!" He put it in the carridge. "What about the others?" He said, looking around anciously. He fell again, noticing his feet had turned into paws, and he really shouldn't have had them in the shoes.

 

Kyrine saw Demian falling and quickly caught him without extending her claws out. She held him up. "We'll call the others and get a hold of them. We'll see if it's happen to them too." She looked at him worriedly. It looked like the changes were still going to keep coming. Luckily and unluckily, she still had her own two feet. She knew that was going to be taken away sooner or later...

 

Demian managed to use one of his wickedly curved claws to get the phone off the holster, and miraculously dial a number of one of his friends. He put it on speaker. He heard a voice. "He-Help!" Then, a loud sound, like an elephant. "What's happening to me?" Demian terminated the call. "That....was Jenny?"

 

Kyrine's eyes went wide. "Everybody was effected... that's my guess... why all of us though?" She was sercretly wishing the one who touched the grand daughter would be the only one to get the voodoo. Why did they all have to be punished for someone else mistakes?

 

"Maybe the old hag thought we all knew about it, and let him do it." He said, but as he finished the statement, he moaned and grabbed his face, slipping again. Whiskers wormed their way up through his skin. He thought he saw a shadow in the window. "What was that?"

 

Kyrine's ear twitched toward the direction of the window. She jerked her head and saw the shadow figure through the window. Her ears fell flat against her head and she let out a low growl from her throat. It surprised her at first. She never made that sound before.

 

James came to a couple minutes later...with FUR! and a tail and ears! 'well....the tail is sexy.....but what's with the fur?' he thought....then it came back. 'THAT HAG!' he thought. 'It was just a playful striptease, no harm done' he thought' then he decided to call the others, dialing the number for Demian. It rang once....twice....

 

Demian let out a louder growl, suprising himself. He stopped it, picking up the phone clumsily, putting it on speaker. "James!" Demian was happy to hear from someone that wasn't screaming their lungs out. "James! Be careful! Has anything happened to you yet??" He asked, frantically looking for the hag and holding in a loud snarl.

 

"besides the fact that i feel sick and i think i'm experiencing some weird drug siddies....i think i have a sexy tail....and some ears....and i feel like the FREAKIN SASQUATCH!" he replied, yelling the last bit. "srry.....yeah"

((dinner))

 

Kyrine carefully let go of Demian and started to approach the shadow figure. She would let Jame and Demian talk. Something about that shadow was menacing...

 

"James, please refrain from petting yourself until this is over, okay?" He asked, laughing a bit at the last comment. "I think it was that WEIRDO VOODOO *****!" He yelled angrily, intending for the woman to hear. He toppled over afterwards, blond fur sprouting up along his legs, up to midway up his thigh. Fur???? "James, get that witch! She's at my house!" The fur spread up a little higher at his insult.

 

Kyrine wasn't experiencing more changes, thankfully. Why was that though? She sprinted to the front window where the shadow figure was and opened the curtain in a flash.

 

The old woman stared back at her, face a centimeter from the glass. "You'd better tell your friend to stop insulting me, he should." The woman twitched her head, tilting it to the side. "Filthy humans. Well, not for long, anyway." She dashed to another window, muttering incantations.

 

Kyrine let out a cry and stumbled back, landing on her behind. That was the last thing she wanted to see in her life. She scrambled up and ran back to where Demian was. "Demian! Stop insulting her! Keep it to herself, she's chanting more spells." She hugged herself to keep herself calm, being careful not to bring out her claws.

 

"Fine!" He said, biting his tounge. It started bleeding. "Yow!" He looked at the hag, glaring at her. She widened her eyes, the bloodshot pupils staring at him. He stuck his toungue out, but he cried out in pain afterwards. A fuzzy feeling permeated the area of his bellybutton, signifying how far the fur had spread.

 

Kyrine looked at the hag then at Demian. This was getting out of hand. She quickly hugged Demian to comfort him and to let him know that she was right there. She kept her claws in checked. "Everything is going to be okay, Demian," she said softly. "Calm down...."

 

Demian mentally smashed down his temper, wrapping his arms around Kyrine. This freaking lady....she was ruining their lives. No more pain. No more insults. Good deal? Maybe...maybe not. He resisted trying to raise a middle claw. He looked at Kyrine. She seemed worried for him. "I'm sorry."

 

At that the phone went dead, and so did all human thought for James. he went all the way through the morphing and bounded out the door (breaking it down) and bounded to where his hybrid cat instincts told him, he came to the apartment and saw the old woman. Something in him told him she wasn't normal and he attacked her, startling her.

 

Kyrine felt Demian relax a little. She inwardly sighed out in relief. "It's okay, you have a right to be angry right now." She let go of him, and then turned her head around quickly. Something else was outside besides the old lady.
