The 'Silent' Era

When she had adressed him, he was agasint the end of a wall, his head had some blood on it, he had straped in. His burnt arm was healing.

" Yes, I do. I have a place so we can't be followed... " Kiba said to her as he cracked his neck, the injury on his head healed. He then got up, and saw in teh co-pilot seat.

" Here. " He said and gave her a map, it showed a ship in the middle of the system. " Sora can't find us there, we need to pack up there and rest, long way ahead of us. " Kiba said to her, gazing out, he looked out the window. Knowing he wasn't going to get a warm welcome.

" Thanks Jade. " Kiba smiled as he closed his eyes.

ooc: I gotta go, Sorry.

 

"Heh. Don't get all mushy on me," she muttered. "I'm doing this for the money, and because I know how little choice otherwise." Seeing that Kiba was resting, or meditating, or otherwise oblivious to his surroundings, Jade input the location he had given her and set her ship on autopilot.

"Ugh," she groaned. "He got blood on the wall." Jade grabbed a rag from beneath the console and dampened it with water from the food/water dispensing unit. She knelt down and scrubbed the blood from the bulkhead. With a sigh, she slumped to the floor and closed her eyes, leaning her head against the bulkhead. "What have I gotten myself into now?" she whispered to herself.

 

OOC: Back...

" Hey Jade, I just want to clear something, remember, after Sora is defeated, you get everything. Don't ask why... " Kiba said to her, he really didn't like the plan he had recently made for this. He knew they could beat Sora, but what would the costs be, and Sora could get people to track them down and everything. He had to focus.

Kiba sighed.

 

Jade's head snapped up. "As long as I get paid," she informed him, hiding her thoughts behind the business-like mask she so commonly donned. "And now I have little choice in the matter; I openly commited treason to Sora's face. He has no concept of 'forgiveness'. My only hope is to kill him, now, or turn you in and hope to espect leniency." She uttered a short, bitter laugh as if it were painful. "And I have a misplaced sense of honor that won't let me betray anyone. I'm surprised I'm still-"

She cut herself off, shaking her head sharply. "It doesn't matter now," Jade announced firmly, furious with herself for revealing so much of her personal life. "All I can do is ride this out to the end."

 

Kiba said nothing, he stared out the window in slience. he saw something familar, " We're here... " He said and then uttered something. He went back towards her but went to the window, his hand flared in colors.

He jerked his hand down and his arms went out, he then was in his old black cloak, fixed ofcouarse. He pulled the hood up. " I might be off for a while, so don't trust anyone when we get there. " Kiba told Jade. Partly he didn't want to be see much at all there. The small planet was seeable now.

 

"Sounds fun," Jade replied noncommitally and returned to the controls. There was a momentary wobble as she shut down the autopilot, then it stablized. "Are there any special approach vectors I should know about? Planetary defense systems, special codes, IF/F transpoder settings...?"

 

" Uhh... " Kiba said and turned around, he quickly disappeared and reappeared, " Now nothing will shoot us down... " He smiled under his hood. He then frowned to himself, " Make sure you bring a weapon or two, we'll be stocking up here, last rest you could say. " He said to her...

 

"Only two?" A smile escaped and flitted across her face, but she quickly caught it and resumed her stony exterior. "What is this place, anyway?" Jade didn't ask about the disappearing act; frankly, she wasn't even sure what had just happened.

 

" Well, where I lived for the first five years of my life...and my family is there..shelter until next set off... " Kiba said and sighed. His weapon appeared. " Never can be TOO careful. " He added. The only thing he was afraid of was his family right now.

He sighed once more. He woundered why Jade hid her Emotions like with the smile just now.

 

"Family?" A slender eyebrow rose. "Should you really be visiting them, with Sora hunting you? They could be convicted of treason just like us." Jade paused and replayed the way he said that. "Or is it... you want to lead Sora to your family?"

 

" Let's just say, I'm taking a risk....if anything goes run, get in the ship and GO. " Kiba said and looked out. " Just don't get happy...it's a really poor nation... " Kiba said heavily, he remembered much. He just didn't want Sora to summon Marluxia or any Organzation Members back to fight them.

 

"Happy?" Again, that short, bitter laugh. "You won't have to worry about that. And don't worry about it being a poor nation; you saw the town I was until recently in." Jade rolled her shoulders to stretch and raised a finger, about to open a communications channel. "Are we sneaking in, or should I call in for clearance to land?"

 

" Let's go my way... " Kiba said holding out a gloved hand, " Don't want them noticing the ship. Espcailly if Sora summons the old Organization agasint us. " Kiba added to her. He then looked at her, waiting to see what she would say.

 

"You're way?" Jade regarded the outstretched hand with more than a trace of suspicion. "What am I supposed to do with my ship? I can cloak it, sure, but that'll only last a few hours." She didn't let her discomfort at the mention of "the old Organization" show on her face.

 

" We won't take long, do you trust me? " Kiba asked, his outstrechted hand still there, he was looking at her now, his green eyes were not visible. He waited calmly.

"Trust?" Jade met his green eyes, similar to her own in hue, and nodded slowly. "Alright. I don't have much of a choice, do I?" She jabbed her finger down on the control board, at once shutting down the ship and wreathing it in some kind of mass shadow. Without hesitation, she laid her palm in his.

 

OOC: Can you just give me breif recap please of whats happening?

 

The world disappeared into darkness, soon appearing in a dark alley, Kiba looked at Jade for a moment and walked to the wall. " I have to go find someone, look around, BUT I repeat DON'T Trust ANYONE! " Kiba told her, leaving fast.

ooc: I got to go, I'll be on tomorrow, So Ienzo, if Jade stays on, she can help you I think. Jade and Kiba were attacked and now are stocking with supplies before going to fight Sora...so you can ambush them if you want...Anyone hat joins is in if Jade says so while I'm gone...Ta-Ta!
