Kyla hugged him, hoping he would understand that she understood.

"He will be brought up with love and you will train him to understand and control the monster within. Sometimes we have to do things like this, we have no choice. Does Scarlet know?"

"Don't tell her yet. Let her have some time with little to worry about. Trust me, such time is precious. Let things be normal for a while. Now it's my turn. Where do I go from here?"

 

''lets see......... we gattah find Zarax's and Ark's location''

 

"I don't think I can face them at present. Let's see Scarlet and Zane. We still have a wedding to organise. You aren't getting out of it that easily Zeke. We are going to have a happy family in this house if it kills me! I love the idea of attending a happy wedding, and Scarlet would never forgive you if you ruined her big day by canceling it. There's a lot to do."

 

Zeke kindah thought if Zeke didnt hav a wedding Kyla would torture him untill he said yes but he was gannah take that chance.......

Zarax got up and then walked over to Trinskth "Im going to go see the lady. I want to ask her something." Zarax walked out he slowly crumbled away. He then appeared outside the back door of the beach house. and slowly walked in and stopped staring straight at Zarax he then stood there, hovered and then walked over to Kyla. "Is this yours? Or was it yours to part with?" Zarax took of a pendent from aroud his neck and put it straight out infront of him Keeping a stern grip of it. Though he did not know what it was it had a strong significance for some reason.


Trinskth yawned and got up slowly he listened to Zarax and then got up and then looked around the kitchen he smelt the food and then began eating it. The world they had just come from was a medival world there was not much technology though Zarax and Trinskth were extremely smart and new alot of sciences.

Sasuke got up as Zarax walked into the room he looked at him and stared as Zarax walked to Kyla Sasuke followed making sure he would not hurt her. He was doing this as precaution he had a feeling that Zarax would not hurt her and was coming here on peaceful grounds.

 

"Thank you Zarax, that is my soul crystal. Once you kept my soul safe in there for me, and you broke the curse over me. The curse is gone now, and the crystal no longer contain a soul. You can keep it if you want. Come in and eat, join Trinskth, if he leaves any food."

Kyla smiled as she looked at Trinskth. "And how are you Trinskth. Would you like to live here with me? Zarax can live here as well, if he wants to."

Kyla resisted the temptation to hug them. Zarax had already rejected her, and he remembered nothing it seemed. Trinskth was more charming, and she felt he could be loved and brought back to the light She had always known that Zarax had darkness in his soul, but she knew that he was now possibly beyond saving. Despite this she still loved him, and would not turn her back on him. She had married the man, held the baby and now she had to help the child. She wondered whether Trinskth had ever been shown love and affection. He certainly seemed a lovely boy, if a little shy. She could warm to him easily, and she knew Ark was in him.

 

Zarax's face stayed solem he felt a huge wave of Guilt Flush over him. He felt many things: Guilt, Happiness, Familarness, Comfort yet need.
He needed a place to stay he needed refuge untill they could find out where they were. Zarax nodded to Kyla "We Will stay here untill we can find out where we are, how we can go back home and what happened. After that we must leave. We are of great importance I am a Supreme Chancelor over Six out of Seven Nations we were currently fighting over the Seventh with rebels When we appeared here. So you see we must go back." The things these people spoke to him off, he had no memory or recollection only familiar dreams.

Trinskth walked over to Sasuke "Why do I feel I know you?"
Trinskth looked up to him in awe and respect he felt protective yet distant.


Sasuke looked down at Trinskth "You are....were my adopted brother....Your name was Ark....but you put a cur....." Sasuke stopped....Trinskth seemed alot like Ark....maybe telling him the truth was not a good idea...it could confuse the boy and make everything happen again.

 

'And I no longer know you Zarax, it is as if we never knew each other.'

Kyla sighed and nodded. "I'll show you to your room. You're welcome here.' She looked at the ring on her hand. It meant nothing now it seemed. She took it off and put it in her pocket. She would have to adjust to the new way of life. She grinned at Trinskth, "Do you like ice cream?"

Kyla was hoping to add a touch of mundane ordinary everyday life to the bizarre schene. She had in effect lost three members of her family, and was determined to stay sane, no matter what.

 

As Zarax walked up the stairs he began to feel dizzy he then collapsed the wound on his ribs then opened up and bled he took of his gloves to Heal the wound. He stopped momentarily....there was a ring on his finger that he had never seen before. He then put his hand to hold the wound but a small fire melded the skin together and a purple light appeared from his hand healing his wound. "What is this?" He then looked at Kyla for reasurance He felt like these powers were hers. Zarax felt very unsure of everything. He didnt know who he was. But he would hide this from people. He never let people in. Zarax got up dizzily and stumbled over to Kyla to ask what had just happened he then fell forwards almost pulling Kyla to the ground with him.

Trinskth face went solem for a few moments he also felt lonely, unfamiliar and unknown, he didnt know who he was. Trinskth turned as he heard Zarax fall he watched in fear as Zarax somehow healed himself, but as soon as Zarax fell Trinskth ran and caught him before he fell he held him up and walked him to the sofa. Trinskth sighed and then smiled. He was a very intelegent child he was an inventor and a creator. He could hide things and make the most of it. So Trinskth hid his fear of the world around him and made the most of now. He turned to Kyla and smiled "I dont know what that is...If its a food Yes Please, Im starving.


Sasuke sighed he always wanted to meet his brother but never did, Sasuke would just go along with everything, He wanted to help but he wasnt incredibly sure of what was going on all he wanted to do was help. Though this was becoming hard.

 

"I'll just see that Zarax is comfortable, and then I will cook a proper meal for you, with ice cream for dessert."

Kyla knelt beside Zarax and held her hand over where the wound was. A purple glow entered Zarax, finishing the healing and giving him strength. She smiled at him, showing him some of the fire. "You have those two powers from me. We trained in the Arch together. I have some of your powers as well. Don't be frightened of them. They will serve to help and protect you." She looked at the ring on his hand. "Do you know what that ring signifies?"

She smiled and stood up. Turning to Trinskth she held out her hand. "Let's see what I can find you to eat. Are you hungry Zarax?" She then turned to Sasuke. "Would you like to help me, Sasuke? I'm proud on you. You are coping so well."

 

Zarax looked at the rings memories flooded back, He thought to himself as he search through each one. 'Memories? Dreams? What are these? What is Real and what is not? How can I tell? What are mine and what are his?'He closed his eyes and as he opened them again his eyes had turned to a pure white. Zarax looked at the ring and looked up to Kyla "This is our wedding ring, We exchanged them in the Arch. I love you soo much." Zarax opened his mouth to carry on but went silent. His eyes turned black again. "What...Where...What did I just say?" Zarax looked around the room panicking slightly he then calmed down. "No, I do not eat. Only when I must" Zarax walked over to Trinskth and took of his armour plate "Would you mind mending it."

Trinskth nodded "I will do my best with what I have" Trinskth sat on the floor and crossed his legs pulling out a set of tool he then silently got to work on it. "Kyla, I will be done before dinner so That will be okay."

Sasuke went up to his room and feel asleep.

 

Kyla felt confused. Did he remember or not? It was as if there were two entities alive in the one body, one a stranger and the other the man she loved. she began to prepare vegetables and plan what she was going to cook for Trinskth. She admitted to herself that she liked him, and wondered if he was the evil that he had been painted. Perhaps Zarax was the evil one and she had been misled. Trinskth seemed to be the subordinate one of the two, taking orders rather than giving them. He must be scared, and she could help him. If only he would trust her. Zarax she was more unsure of. He seemed to only exist as she remembered him when his eyes were white.

Sasuke was suffering at the moment. She had a gift for him. One that would show him how much he really meant to her. She would give him the gift as soon as he woke.

 

Zarax turned his head to Kyla his eyes then went white again he walked over to her and started helping with the cooking. "Hey, How come you havent got your ring on?" Zarax smiled as he saw the ring shapped bump in her pocket. He thought she had probably taken it of for cooking. He turned around and looked at trinskth "Why does Ark look so different?" Zarax carried on helping her cook.

Trsinkth looked at Zarax strangely "Are you okay? Z. Im not Ark?" Trinskth sat there still fixing the Armour Plate.

Sasuke couldnt sleep he closed his eyes and tried as hard as he could but just couldnt. He slowly walked down stairs and saw His parents like they usually wore. Zarax looked the same from the behind as he former self.

 

"Who are you really Zarax? One minute you have black eyes and don't know me, the next you have white eyes and do. I'm not wearing the ring until I know I have you back properly." Kyla's eyes flared bright red. She felt unsafe. "Trinskth is doing what you asked him."

As she watched Sasuke come into the room. She had everything cooking and was able to leave the kitchen. "I have something for you Sasuke, something I would very much like you to have." Kyla removed something wrapped in a silk cloth. "It is your grandfather's flame sword. I would like you to have it now. It is yours by right, and I would be proud if you would accept it."

Kyla held the sword out to him.

 

Zarax looked at Kyla slight frightened and unsure of what she meant. "What? Whats wrong? What do you mean? Have I done something wro" Zarax then fell to the floor his face cracking on the floor his face damaged and all the wounds in his body then ripped and blood began seaping everywhere, Then time froze the blood then began coming back into his body and he then stood up. A Strange dragon like figure apeared infront of Zarax "You have a choice. You have beared much. Therefore you must be rewared. You may either go back to your time with Trinskth and carry out your life there or. Resume the life you once had as Zarax, Husband of Kyla D'huran, Father of Arkadius and Sasuke." One of Zarax's eyes turned back to black "I choose to go home to kyla back in time " Zarax didnt understand what he just said in his head he thought to himself I want to stay with kyla a voice behind said no, we have to go back to wear everyone is Zarax then said but if Im not with Kyla I will die. I cannot bear to live without her knowing Im not with her. Zarax's eyes then began glowing and then stayed white "I choose....Kyla" The Dragon Shapped entity then nodded and Zarax's body was changed back into how it was before and as was Trinskth's to Arks "I will take away the curse from Ark" said the dragon and the runes on Arks arms disapered. The Dragon then disapeared and Everything was back "I am back for good."

 

Kyla ran to Zarax and hugged him. She looked deeply into his eyes. "Are you really here for good?" She stroked his cheek, checking that he was real. She then turned to Ark, holding out her arm and moving away from Zarax, she gestured for Sasuke to join them. Tears streamed down her face.

"I........I have to finish the meal." Kyla turned and fled to the kitchen, where she collapsed on the floor sobbing.
