The Shadow Period

Kyla thought back 'Thank you! You are always welcome to stay at my place as well. I inherited the family home when my parents died. Its big and has plenty of room for friends.'

 

Zarax nodded even though no one could see. He had never ever been offered a place to stay, he had to act as if he wasnt alive so that no one would know he wasnt paying for palces. Zarax looked back at Kyla.
{Thankyou for your hospitality I may take that offer up, thankyou.}

 

Kyla thought about what was happening. Fate had throw them all together, each with a secret and all needing to be helped. This was more than coincidence.

'Perhaps we should take one of the curses and try to lift it' she thought to herself. 'I'll suggest to to he others. Mine is not urgent, as I have time before the curse takes over. Three of the guys have problems that need help now, and I should suggest that we work on one of these. They can use my home as a base.'

'That fox kid seems far too scared of others to not have some secret. People run like that when something's really wrong. She even ran from Zarax. There is a story behind that one. She is not just a common street rat.'

 

Zarax looked towards Kyla. Loving the feeling he had.

He smiled and sudenly the deamon Head Came out again this time it was half out. Zarax screamed at the top of his voice in Complete Agony. The Deamon came all the way out untill its waste(Sp) was still in. It spun around and starting attacking Zarax. Zarax quickly punches the air, and his spikes came out Zangetsu then grabbed the deamons head and started shooting it, holes apeared in the Deamons head but quickly recovered The Deamon Roared in Zaraxs face and scrathed Zarax's shoulder and face..leaving large gauges Sudenly Zarax's Sword Fist turned white with a bright light, Zarax's two wings came out they were both white this time the two wings held the deamon in place. Zarax's eyes when bright white and Zarax's Horns where flaming as well. Zarax Roared incredibly loud, so loud everyone in the Shop heard Zarax then took 100 rapid shots at the deamon then sudenly all the swords turned into one huge one which Zarax swong cuting the Deamon's shoulder. The Deamon let out a large cry of pain and then was quickly pulled back in by the two White Wings. Zarax felt to the ground his Swords disapeared, and his horns turned black again and his wings covered him for a few moments and then went back into his back. The wings had healed his wounds but Zarax was exhausted he only had enough power to turn to Kyla.

{H..He..Help Me! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHH}

Zarax then fainted in the middle of the street the floor below him was smoking and cracked it looked as if something heavy had fallen from the sky.

 

miss kyla.............soul edge was a sword off terrible evil and it destroied millions in its path but a holy sword called soul caliber deafeated soul edge ending its exsistance. but the other day ive heard a rumor saying that someone had found a blue sword around some mountains but they couldnt get to it so i thought we could look for it.........but if we cant get that sword
i know of another but i doubt u want that one..............

thinks: *a great darkness just passed ovr but wat was it?*

 

Kyla suddenly turned towards the door, a look of horror on her face. "I'll be back soon" she yelled. She raced to where the telepathic scream originated. 'Hold in there Zarax, I'm coming' she thought.

She hoped that the others would understand. The cry of agony from Zarax cut through her like a knife. She followed the pain echo like a trail, until she found the unconcious Zarax.

'Stay with me my friend' she thought. Summoning all the powers within her she held her hand over Zarax's chest. A puple light shone onto the prone form, as her life energy poured into him, giving him strength from her body. 'Please don't die, I couldn't bear not being able to help you.' She held him as close to her as possible, crying softly.

 

{where did she go in a hurry........shadows transport me there but keep me hidden.} *disappears then appears hidden in a dark alley* {miss......kyla?} *thinks of scarlet and how she acted torwards zexek as kyla is acting torwards zarax * {she acts the same way scarlet does to me}........*tear fall* {wats this................wats this i feel......its been so long since i even felt an emotion...........scarlet is this because of u?} *disappears bac to pizza hut*

 

kyla realised that she was alone and vulnerable. Zarax needed to be protected from whatever had caused the damage, and she couldn't support him and fight. The sword was shaking in the scabbard.

'Help me please, Necros, Shadonic, Zeke! Zarax is in trouble and needs your help! I beg you to come!' she thought, hoping one of the others was also a telepath. Otherwise she would probably have to draw the sword.

She sensed someone watching her. Without thinking her hand went to the sword hilt and began to draw the blade.

ooc. 2FOXXIE4U is still playing but is uber busy at present with exams & festive stuff. Please remember she is probably lurking in the shadows watching whats going on, even if she isn't interacting with us!:)

Zarax couldnt move but somehow felt slightly safe he opened his eyes slightly noticing Kyla, he saw a big purple light radiating from her hands, he tried to smile as a small symbol of gratidude but then the floor below Zarax starting shaking and seeping Darkness. With the last of Zarax's strength he pushed Kyla away. A Large Hand smashed from under the ground and pulled Zarax down. There was a big white light then slowly faded.

There should have been a huge whole but the ground returned to its normal state. Zarax felt cold and lonely he tried to move but couldnt he tried to open his eyes but couldnt, he opened his mouth to cry for help but nothing came out all he could do was think. When the thought hit him, he and Kyla had just been speaking telepathically he knew none of the others could here him or talk back to him because they didnt answer when he spoke to him the first time. Though he knew Kyla would here he knew she off all the people he knew would come through for him, he had made her feel safe and she had done the same for Zarax.

{K..Kyla..I dont know where I am....its dark...lonely and damp....}

He tried opening his eyes again with little sucess he could only open them slightly but this time he saw something a gargoyle he thought to himself where he had seen the Gargoyle before. It was the Gargoyle at the top of the Skyscraper where he had been left before, he wanted to tell Kyla Imediately but didnt think she would know the place, Zarax knew she was his only hope if she didnt know this place then he would die.

{Im..........Im at the top of....the skyscraper...I dont know which one..but it has Gargoyles....Ive been here before....come.....come quickly....please...your my...my...my only hope....}

Zarax's eyes closed again, he could not feel his body so he didnt know whether he was sitting or lying down, hanging or falling, but all he could do was stay there.

Zarax stayed there quietly waiting to be helped, he had grown acustom to it, as he had done this as a child his parents left him because he looked wierd his parents where both Shadows but Zarax looked 100% Human as a Child. So Zarax stayed on his own in a lonely house for 13 years he is now 21 his parents left him at the age of 3 but Zarax was found by two kind parents who had a who was human, that childs name was Xenka. Zarax grew very attachted (sp) to Xenka they were almost like brothers, even though they were diferent species a when Zarax was 6 he started to grow his horns and his powers starting coming through. Xenkas parents where scared so they being to shout at Zarax......

Zarax then snapped back into focus again and realised he could move his arm he slowly started moving he thought to himself 'Sooner or later I might be able to move my whole body'

zexek could feel the darkness over the city like something was going to happen..

"i better get back to miss kyla....." just at that moment zeke could hear police sirens about 2 blocks away
"darnit they found me.........but i sense miss kyla needs help.......i'll just have to esacape to where miss kyla is then we have to get back to my hideout"
*disappears to where kyla is*
" miss kyla please come with me to my hide out the police find out where i am............"

Celeste watched the whole scene, now halfway in a dark ally, barely visable. She had the last bucket of hot wings in one arm, and the bottle of Coke in the other. She'd left the resturant as soon as she caught site of the others from before. She couldn't understand WHY they wouldn't leave her alone... After all, she was just a street rat, right? She shook her head slightly, and took another drink out of the bottle.

Kyla thought to Zarax ' Can you contact Necros and Shadonic? They can teleport and bring you to me. I will be with you soon. I hope the strength I gave you helped. I won't rest until I see you again.'

To Zeke' Here is the address of my home. Can you get there? Go in and hide there, you'll be safe. I hope to be home soon with the others.'

'NECROS, SHADONIC HELP!!!!!' Kyle screamed both with her mind and voice.
She felt the pain echo again. Once she had felt it once from an individual she could track them, just like a dog tracks scent. 'I'm coming Zarax, try to stay awake.'

'Zeke, come with me. I can hide you from them, but you need to be close to me. I am going to rescue Zarax who is in great danger. I can show you where he is. I have tried to contact Necros & Shadonic, but don't know if I've succeeded. I think in this case we are better sticking together. Things are going to get rough.'

Zarax could now move both his arms and was now trying to move back to an upright position but strangely enough he would not move, he tried turning his neck but he could only just, he turned around and noticed his wings where out which scared him, he tried to put them back in but it wouldnt work he tried to stand up out of panic he could now fully move but he couldnt put his wings back in and he felt his horns to see if there was a problem there they were bigger than before he then looked at his hand noticing the swords had gotten bigger and his hands had turned into claws he looked at his legs and they were shapped like an animals, Zarax was panicing he jumped down to the ledge below looking in a window.

To his horror he looked like a complete monster, Zarax jumped back up the ledge above again and sat ontop of the Gargoyle, Zarax knew that the first may find him so he turned invisible not wanting to face them.

Kyla reached the skyscraper and looked at the side of the building. 'Here goes nothing' she thought as she took off her shoes and began to climb, using the talons on her hands and feet. 'I wish I could fly or teleport, this is slow' she thought. Presently she got to the top and stared at the gargoyles.

"Zarax, please show me where you are. I can sense you but not see you. It's alright, I won't hurt you. It's me, Kyla. I'm your friend and won't judge you whatever has happened."

'Please come', she thought to the others, hoping someone would listen. There seemed to be silence, though she could sense Zarax. Their telepathic link and her ability to track pain echoes had made her aware of him, and it saddened her that he was hiding from her.

*looks up at the skyscarper where kyla was*
