"Oh, come on Zeke. Shopping's fun.You get to try on great clothes, get fussed over and enjoy yourself. Do you want a lift or are you guys walking?"

Ky;a was laughing as she dangled the car keys for Zeke to see. She wandered over to Zarax and hugged him.

"You coming with us?"

 

''no i hate shopping scarlet always make me try on her dresses.........''

''kyla how about we dress up zarax or gharanth.........''

 

"Well Zarax is going with Zeke, and I think Gharanth is babysitting. Anyway, I don't think either of them would look good in a wedding dress! Let's get going. Do you really make Zeke put on dresses?"

Kyla laughed. This was going to be a fun shopping trip.

 

scarlet then made a light clone of zeke

'' the clone will go with zarax and zeke will come with us so we can dress him *evil grin*''

"Sorry, he can't come. I told you. It's bad luck for him to see the wedding dress, especially with you in it. We need as much good luck as we can get, so we shouldn't tempt fate. perhaps we should take the light clone. It would be as much fun."

Kyla smiled sympathetically to Zeke. She was beginning to feel sorry for him. She would never think of torturing Zarax like that.

"Don't drag me into this. The one thing I know is to back down when you have no chance of winning. Anyway I'm staying to babysit."

"Correction, I'm a great fire demon. Unfortunately so is Kyla. Do you really think I want to get involved. Ok, I'm chicken, but at least I don't wear dresses!"

 

"Can i come with you all shopping?"
"Congratulations to you too Scarlett I'll bet you'll find a lovely dress .."A re you going to have white as traditional or are you going to be different?

Starr felt very happy for Scarlett and Zeke and wished the best for both of them.

she hoped she would eventually find herself someone to fill the gap in her soul she had felt sometimes when she was alone.

 

"Of course you can come with us. The more girls the merrier. We should make a day of it. You can cope, can't you Gharanth?"

"Of course I'll cope. I have raised kids you know. You're descended from one. You ladies go and have fun shopping."

Gharanth looked at Zeke and winked.

 

"Great where are we going first?"

 

"Well under the circumstances, I think we should hit the bridal shops first. I can't wait to see Scarlet in a wedding dress. Zeke will be so stunned when he sees how beautiful she is. I'm a bit jealous. none of my friends were at my wedding. It was a bit lonely. Zarax is the perfect husband, but I never had the big wedding. I think we should celebrate Scarlet and Zeke's wedding in style to make up for it."

Kyla sighed as she unlocked the car. She had had a very quiet wedding, as they had been at the Arch training. Every memory in her life seemed linked with sorrow of some sort. She wondered what she had done to deserve this. She forced a smile, hoping to appear happy for the others. She felt empty though. Was this all just fake icing on the harsh reality that was to come?

 

Starr got into the car and sat in the front.

"Are you OK Scarlett if I sit in the front or would, you the bride to be... like to sit here"

"Kyla are you OK? you don't seem yourself."

 

Kyla smiled. "I'm just thoughtful. There's a lot happening, and we've got a lot to plan. Perhaps we should split the work. What do you think Scarlet?" Kyla did not want to seem selfish. This was Scarlet's time, and she should be the centre of attention. Kyla laughed to herself. Would he be cast as the mother of the bride? Who would give Scarlet away and who would be Zeke's best man. There ws so much to decide and do."

"Scarlett what do you think then about sharing the jobs out, it will make it less of a job and more of fun and excitement" I know it can be hard work planning your own wedding what to wear,who to invite and not to invite etc"...getting everything organised"

 

"What about we get one of those wedding planning books? That way we can allocate jobs and write what we've done. Sorry, I'm so exited, I can't wait to start shopping."
