The Shadow Period

"Unfortunately the only one who has that powerful a link to her is Zarax, and he is mad with grief. If we can calm him down enough he can focus and use her soul to find her."

Kyla screamed mentally 'Zarax, help me. I have Ark but I'm not sure how to get home. Guide me. I need your help. Please Zarax!'

Hoping that she was doing the right thing, Kyla flew back the way she had come. She felt so alone without Zarax, as if part of her was missing. She needed to feel his presence in her mind.

 

"Gharanth..do you still want to help cook the spagetti bolagnaise, their is nothing else we can do untill Kyla gets back."

Starr walked back into the kitchen

 

''do u knoo wat dimenson shes in?

 

Gharanth looked embarrassed.

"Uh, I think I need help. Somethings burning. I did say I'm not good at this. I've never actually cooked anything before.!

"Hey Zeke, fancy something to eat! I promise I haven't cooked it." Gharanth laughed quietly. He gave Starr the chili paste and grinned.

 

''why call me? wat makes u think i cook?''

 

"Starr's cooking. I wanted to know if you're hungry?"

"I hope Kyla's ok. No one knows where she went."

Kyla flew, clutching Ark to her. Suddenly things got brighter. She forced herself to fly faster. She saw the ocean, then the beach. Exhausted she crashed onto the sand, protecting Ark with her body.

 

''does it look like im hungry? *stomach growls*-_-''

 

Gharanth looked worried and ran out of the kitchen, and onto the beach. He found the unconscious form of Kyla and gently lifted her and Ark. He carried them both to the beach house. "I need help here!"

 

''hmm? is that kyla?''

lay her on the bed ill cast a white spell on her

 

"Give me ark and i'l take him to Zarax "

 

Gharanth laid Kyla on the bed and wrapped Ark in a blanket. He then passed Ark to Starr.

"Is she going to be alright? I've never seen Kyla so frantic.

Kyla's wings absorbed back into her body. Her eyes opened and she tried to sit up.

"I need to get to Zarax now, please help me."

 

kyla calm down tell us wat happened........

 

"No, I need to get to Zarax now!" Kyla crawled towards the door. "He needs me." She could feel that he was weaker than normal, and distraught. If she could get to him she could calm him down. Kyla hated to see Zarax in any pain or distress.

'Zarax, I'm here and I'm coming. I love you. Hang in there!'

 

kyla no! *holds kyla bac* calm down! the sooner u do that the sooner we'll find zarax.....''

 

"I AM CALM!"

Kyla struggled back to her feet and lurched towards the door.

"I just need to see Zarax now."

 

zeke then used his shadows to hold kyla........

''hmph shadow possesion success i nvr thought id hav to test this on u...............kyla calm down and tell us wat happened......''

 

Starr heard the commotion just after she had given Zarax, Ark
Starr walked back through

"zeke ,Zarax is in the other room, with the kids now, he is very weak though Kyla wants to give him healing before it's too late."

 

Kyla glowed with a white light that drove the shadows away.

"I'M GOING TO ZARAX NOW!"

She then disappeared and reappeared next to Zarax. She held her hands over him deep healing with pure white light, until there was no wound left. She then collapsed in a heap on the floor next to him.

 

zeke went to the next room........

''i wonder wat happened......''

scarlet then restored kylas and zarax's energy..........

let them rest it seems as if they went threw a horrible journey

 

"Somehow, I don't think Zarax realises how much Kyla would give for him. He's very lucky." Gharanth smiled at Starr. "What do you think"

He then went over and lifted her onto the bed, putting Zarax next to her. "She'll sleep better knowing he's there. It's getting late anyway." Gharanth yawned. "Shall we eat?"

Kyla curled up next to Zarax and put her arm round him.
