The Shadow Period

Starr passed Gharanth his cup of tea.
"I did love someone once, I met him when I first escaped from the prison you would call home, from people who called them selves my parents . They really were after something else."
"We looked after each other, we became inseperable for a good few years.He met an old friend and thought the dark was more appealing than living in the light.
"We ended up in a massive fight and...and ( looked down at her feet) I had to kill him before he killed me.Its the last time I used this "
Starr showed Gharanth her staff

Starr heard a noise and quickly put the staff away."what was that"
she went back into the other room and saw that Zarax had left Sasuke on the couch and had gone to try and find Kyla, except he hadn't made it , he had gone into a pool of water. Starr opened her wings "Gharanth!!! Zarax has tried to get to Kyla and fallen, I am going to get him!"

Starr opened her wings and went to try and pick up Zarax

"Why can't you listen to sense Zarax?"

Gharanth ran out of the house at full speed, lifting Zarax out of the water and racing back in with him.

"Starr, keep him here. Now Zarax, tell me where Kyla and Ark are? You are going nowhere! I can bring her back."

zeke ran torwards kyla.......

OOC: Zeke Kylas gone to catch Ark....Lol, Read the last stuff ^_^.

Zarax opened his eyes seeing that he was back home he ran out of the window again trying to find kyla.
He then scream at the height of his voice, Though no one was around. "KYLA, KYLA, WHERE ARE YOU? KYLA!!!"

 

"She's gone after Ark! Kyla is as stubborn as you. Can't you track her with your mind? I can then follow and bring them both back. Ark's in danger, isn't he. I seem to have come back to life in a whole mess of trouble."

Gharanth suddenly stopped.

"Hang on you have her soul. You are permanently linked to her, and she can't be easily killed. Use that and you should see what she sees."

 

"Do you want me to help, I could fly over if you can locate her, which would be quicker.., "

"Or I can stay and help watch over Sasuke."

 

"We need to find her first. Kyla can be hotheaded, but she will get Ark back, or die trying. We would be better staying here and trying to control Zarax and guard Sasuke. Whatever took Ark may come back for his baby brother, and Zarax is out of control with grief. Poor guy, to fall so deeply in love, and watch your family torn apart by your enemy. He's teh only one who can locate her though."

Kyla flew after Ark, racing to keep up with him. It started to get very dark.

 

"Zarax come on sit back down, you know she will be alright, Kyla has a lot more powers now doesn't she? You know more than us about that, think straight you have Sasuke now to look after also now."
" Gharanth is right it's safer if we all stay where we are, you can locate her Gharanth said, and you will be able to see what she does , do that first"

 

"You know Starr, I sort of envy them. They have the sort of deep pure love I always wanted but could never have. Nobody cared whether I lived or died, only whether I was useful in their climb to power. Zarax & Kyla have a real bond, and I don't know if Kyla could have found a more loving husband. It's a pity they've been parted, and Zarax won't calm down. We need him to focus on Kyla."

Gharanth walked over to Starr and without thinking held her hand.

"It will work out ok, you know."

 

"I know it will."
Starr felt comforted as Gharanths hand wrappped around hers,the worry she felt slowley ebbed away.

"What else can we do to calm down zarax,?"
" Oh I know"

Starr picked Sasuke back up ,gave him a hug then,passed him back to Zarax
She thought perhaps keeping him occupied with his other son for a while will calm him

"Whispered to Gharanth, lets go to the kitchen and leave Zarax and Sasuke alone he's not likley to run off and leave Sasuke again is he?"

 

"I wouldn't have thought so, Sasuke is the only one he has of his little family at the moment. Zarax's paternal instinct will take over."

Gharanth followed Starr into the kitchen. He put the kettle on and washed up the mugs from the previous cup of tea. He seemed a little awkward.

"Can I get you anything? You know........I'm not very good in social situations. I never really had to deal with them. It seems I've hidden from life in the past.

 

"Your not the only one after my last fight, I travelled looking for my real parents , I stayed away from the 'villages kept myself to myself, unless i needed to work

"Are you hungary perhaps I could cook some food for us all, and plate some up for Kyla when she gets back"
"Do i need to make food for the young ones?"

 

Gharanth laughed. "Apart from Zarax, you're all young to me. i think we should cook together, it will be good for us both. let's see what Kyla's got in."

Gharanth rummaged through the cupboards. "Do you fancy spaghetti bolognaise? Sorry, cooking.'s not my specialty. When I was alive I had servants, and ghosts don't eat. Guess I need some lessons. I could always do a stirfry."

Gharanth eyed the wok with a degree of wariness.

 

"I don't mind spagetti bolognaise "
"shall we cook then.... ha ha"

 

"You seem to laugh a lot. Are you nervous? You don't need to be."

Gharanth started to growl as he lit the cooker. "Gas won't light."

He pointed at it and flames shot from his finger.

"No wonder I hate such things!"

 

"actually no I am not nervous, considering the situation I am quite relaxed now"

"well you got the cooker going, well done!"

"Shall i just peak around the door and check on Zarax and Sasuke?"










occ me going for the night, will hopefully be on tommorow night .

Kyla flew on into the darkness.

'Zarax, I love you, but I must rescue Ark. I'll be back soon, wait for me.'

"Everything is going wrong. Kyla's gone off on her own, Zarax is unable to find her yet and Ark's gone. Other than that, everything is peachy!"

Kyla caught up with Ark. She grabbed him and held on.

"What are you doing? We love you."
