The Shadow Period

"I have been training with Zarax so that we can fight together effectively. We have also trained in each other's powers. He is such a patient and wonderful teacher. We now fight together in harmony. I have also trained up my abilities."

Kyla smiled and showed Starr her wedding ring.

"What's been happening here?"

 

"wow brilliant ring"

"well you just missed an argument I think, it woke me up so i thought I'd come down to find out what was happening and get me some coffee"

"You timed your entrance well,don't worry about it though I think your wonderful arrival stopped it in its tracks"

 

Kyla blushed. "I never meant to be so theatrical, and nothing was planned when I left, We spent a year together, and well we just fell deeply in love. I think we really understand each other now. we are together, and I'm afraid the others will have to just accept this. Nothing will separate Zarax & I. I know some will have a difficult time accepting this."

 

"Why don't you sit down and put your feet up ,it is your home , well family home now isn't it?

 

"It is, though Zarax might have a bit of adjusting to do. He is the master of the house now. I suppose the others will have question for us? Do you want to hold Sasuke?"

Kyla looked round and smiled.

"Hello Gharanth, meet the youngest member of our family, Sasuke. Do you know Starr?"

"A pleasure to meet you Starr. I don't think we've been introduced yet. I am an ancestor of Kyla's."

Gharanth kissed Starr's hand.

"I see Zarax and Ark are the perfect father and son team. I hope you will be very happy together Kyla."

 

"I'd love to hold Sasuke, thank you."

"Hello Gharanth,nice to meet you too"

Starr blushes a little

 

"So, you have joined the motley group Starr? It isn't a particularly safe place to be from what I've seen, though I'm sure Kyla will protect you."

Kyla glared at Gharanth "You don't inspire anyone to confidence do You?"

"Only telling the truth. So who are you with Starr?"

 

" I can protect myself if I need too "

"No I am not with anyone, I was on my own for a long time just wondering I suppose you could say, from town to town , for various reasons."

"I met Kyla and her friends when I delivered a pizza one night, She let me stay...I hope there is still enough room for me , with the children and all.."

" I should really go, back to work at some point to help pay my way, I am not sure if i should do pizza delivering again though, It hardly pays a tuppence"

 

"Don't worry Starr, there's plenty of room, and we can afford to support everyone, though a little help with the kids occasionally might be nice! Not that they're any trouble, sweet tempered, just like their father. Mind you I suppose I'm a little biased."

"Sorry to drop a cloud on the proceedings Kyla, but Mephilas is back. he is possessing Zeke. That's what you heard Starr. You hurt him before, so we may need your help now."

 

then zeke walked in the room

"Hi Zeke & Scarlet, how are you both. Zarax and I are back, and married. You remember Ark, and the littlest one is our youngest son, Sasuke. I hear your having trouble again Zeke."

Kyla smiled at them both with a new confidence.

"I've already spoken with Mephilas. He is a pain as usual."

i hav an idea *scarlet then took out some paaper then bit her thumb and wrote strnge marks on the paper then attached it to zeke's back*there that should do it....

"It's alright Zeke, don't get upset about it. I didn't know and neither did you. Actually, I have some shadow abilities, I just can't enter the shadow world. Zarax has been training me. He took me somewhere safe, where I could learn. He will also protect me from the curse as much as he can. We are very alike now."
