"It seems that I always had to be there when he needed me, but I could bleed to death and it didn't matter. I was being controlled emotionally because of the curse he had. I felt used. By the way, I threw the charm into the ocean."

"Sorry, I'm a bit stressed out at the moment. I'll try and find the charm after. It will have washed back up on the shore."

Arkadius walked out of his highschool sighing at all the people running around and laughing and others fighting and so on. Arkadius thought of these things as being pointless he had always been mature he studied hard and went up three years he had just left university and was going home when he saw a tall man stand in an alleyway, Arkadius had always been Curious but safe he assesed (sp?) the situation and walked over to the figure slowly as he got closer he noticed that the figure was bleeding and holding his chest, Arkadius walked up to the man, looking up to him the man was a few feet taller than Arkadius but although he had to look up Arkadius allways seemed to look taller. "What do you want?" Arkadius said. "To pass on my curse, my legacy, my burdon and my gift" the figure said. "What do you mean by that?" " You have been chosen, Arkadius it is you who will protect her it is you who will keep the Crystal keeping Trsinkth inside" The man put his hand straight through his chest pulling out a black crystal the man then started gushing with more blood. "I see...........Im geussing you do not want me to help with those wounds?" Arkadius then thought about how the man knew his name, but Arkadius took the crystal and held it in his hand he then looked up to the man. "I do not need these wounds healing for thery are incurable, I must go now but I will be there when you are in need." The man started walking into the allyway and slowly disapearing (sp?) The man then turned back to Arkadius and laughed "When you need help think of my name" The man then disapeared leaving Arkadius confused "What did he mean by calling his name, I dont even......."Sudenly a name popped into Arkadius head, he tilted his long black hair to the side, and then looked at the crystal. "Your name....Your name is.....Zarax"

 

Kyla looked at Zeke & Scarlet.

"Look, can the healing wait. I need to sort my head out first. I'm going down to the beach to search for the charm."

Kyla wandered along the waters edge, looking for the charm in the sand. 'What was I really to you Zarax? And who were you? I'm so confused.'

She noticed a glint, and found the charm, half buried in the sand. Kyla picked it up and studied it. 'You're gone now, I can't sense you, and you're no longer in my head. I'm sorry. I killed you. It's my curse.'

 

Akadius was walking home after this little meet with the stranger he kept thinking about the name "Zarax" he had never heard of it yet it seemed so familiar he was walked along the shore, since his house was next to a Beach House, as he walked along he felt a sharp pain in his back, he then felt it. It started to really hurt sudenl Arkadius's eyes went blurry and then he looked down at the floor sudenly he fell backwards but quickly regained balance he carried on walking but felt heavier he felt his back again but felt another limb he turned his head slightly and was suprised to see that there were wings, Arkadius was stunned yet quite happy, he always knew he was diferent at least now he could see it. Arkadius imediately took addvantage of this and jumped into the air, he stumbeled at first but was in the air at no time he laughed to himself "Ark, youve done it this time." He wondered if this had anything to do with that man he thought it must have done. Ark kept flying thinking about his powers and was just about to pass the Boat House close to his own house when he saw a young woman standing at the end of the beach, Ark would usually just ignore her but he felt obliged (sp?) to go to her so he landed but crashed on the floor but got up with dignity he walked over to the lady "Hello" Arkadius then realised about his wings but he then thought 'She doesnt mind she has powers also' Arkadius felt comfortable but wouldnt usually.

 

"Hi there. Are you alright? That was a bit of a rough landing."

Kyla shoved the charm into her pocket and offered her hand to the stranger, gesturing that she wanted to help him up. He seemed familiar, but she hadn't spent much time at the beach house, so she couldn't be sure.

"I'm Kyla, I live there." Kyla pointed at the house. "Why don't you come and sit down. You must be shaken up after that."

 

Arkadius smiled and sat down with her "No, Im fine, I just realised I have those wings" Ark thought about whether the lady knew anything about this man "By the Way the names Arkadius Neal but Ark will be fine, Have you ever heard the name "Zarax"? I think he gave me these powers he said I needed to protect someone........"

 

Kyla stared at him.

"Zarax........ yes I know that name. I don't know where to start. I thought he loved me, but I don't know now. He's dead isn't he. I can't feel him any more. I think I'm responsible for his death in a strange way. He never really let anyone too close to him. Why do you ask? I'm not really in a state to talk about it. He....he...."

Kyla started to cry, then showed Ark the charm.

 

Arkadius held Kyla and looked at the Charm, obviously she had a relationship with Zarax, he thought about what Zarax said "If you need me call my name" so Ark called Zarax ""ZARAX!" I need you Now!" Zarax then apeared and slightly pushed Ark to the side and hugged Kyla, "Dont cry Kyla, I needed to protect you from Trinskth I wasnt strong enough so I had to get someone who I knew was.......could be. I did love you I just didnt know what to do, Im sorry, but I will be guarding over you as well as Ark" Zarax kissed Kyla on the cheek and then walked of puting his arm on Ark "I need to take you to train, I know you can trust me because you feel it, now come." Zarax walked of towards the water and disapeared along with Ark.

 

Kyla shook her head in amazement at what had just happened. Zarax was alive? He had kissed her and then left. He had loved her. Why tell her the truth now? It seemed that she was doomed never to be happy.

She got up and wandered onto the beach. Then she collapsed onto the sand and cried.

Kyla realised it was getting late, and the air was colder. She brushed the sand off her clothes, wiped her eyes and wandered into the house.

"Everyone comfortable?"

zeke then ran into kyla

"Ok, just don't mess it up."

Kyla wanted to tell someone about what had happened, but was unsure who would believe her or even care.

 

''OK''

zeke then put his hands over kyla's wounds

''here goes nothing CURE!''

then little green lights went into kyla's wounds and healed them

"Yes, why not! I could do with ice cream, loads of it!"

Kyla followed feeling that this diversion was just what she needed.

"Oh Scarlet, here you may want it for something." Kyla held out the love charm.
