The Shadow Period

'i dont but....*shadow raider appears* but he do try it on him'

 

Kyla reached out to the shadow raider. She took the unique signature that represented Scarlet from it.

"Stand behind me if you want to stay alert"

The flames on her hands turned purple. Suddenly she swung her arms and clapped her hand together "Mind Shock".

The visible guards began to crumple. The energy wave overloads their systems, but doesn't kill. Scarlet will still be awake, as I have shielded her. That's why I needed her signature. Shall we proceed gentlemen?"

Kyla's eyes were shining and her lips were drawn back. She seemed to be enjoying the fighting.

 

SR1: scarlet in on the 3rd floor

zeke: take us there......

the shadow raider nods then opens a shadow portal

SR: there....

zeke: come *goes threw portal* {this is almost to easy somethings not right}

 

"I suspect we have only met the first of the obstacles. Let's grab Scarlet and we'll work on the rest as it occurs."

Kyla seemed almost too eager for a fight.

 

Zangetsu felt worried he could feel a presence outside the mansion but didnt know what it was conected with Zeke and Scarlet but he didnt know how
"Guys outside is someone who means Scarlet harm who means Zeke and everyone harm, be cautious I cannot use my powers again...I can only shield you with my wings." He stood infront of everyone and spread out his magnificent black wings.

 

Kyla allowed herself to give in to the burning blood. No fear, no hesitation, only bliss.

Her eyes gleamed as she snarled "Leave them to me. Zarax protect Zeke and Scarlet with your wings."

Kyla drew the flame sword and used it to focus the attack. "Purify". White fire shot forward touching everything, driving the darkness away.

Kyla ran forward. She was no longer a thinking individual but a wild creature. The sword dropped from her hands, which burst into flame.

 

Zarax covered everyone with his wings, he new that soon he would have to go he had to think about what ere happening to his powers and what these dreams meant so he said to himself after he protects everyone from whatever happens he will go again.

For Kyla the hunt was on. There was only the target. She was the nearest to pure demon she could experience, and it was exhilerating.

She glanced back at the others"Get out of here, I can handle it."

*goes threw the dark portal and comes out the other end*

zeke: scarlet! ^^

scarlet: *tied up on a chair* zeke!!!

then zeke and scarlet goes threw the shadow portal but on the other end the bounty hunters were ready to strike

zeke: a trap?

then behind zeke there was a man with round glasses and a white lab coat.

hojo: remember me? im hojo

zeke: wat hojo?

hojo: yes zeke

zeke: like that man in the dream....

hojo: hmhmhmhmhm tell me when mephiles is released again we have some catching up to do *snaps fingers then disappears*

zeke: wat?! come back!!!!!!

then the bounty hunters started to barg in and shooting inside the mansion

zeke: zarax protect scarlet at all cost.........

occ: good noght guys but its not beddy bye time for me yet ^^

 

Kyla snarled, something was wrong. She charged into the mansion again. Loping up the stairs she picked up Zeke & Scarlet's track.

She tore the doors off their hinges as she searched the rooms. She could hear voices, but didn't care who they were, as long as they weren't Zeke and Scarlet. No one else mattered at the present time.

She charged into the room snarling. "Why didn't you get out of there!"

"Blades of Blood!"Attacks Zeke and Scarlets 'visitor'."Come on guys lets get outta here."

Kyla lashed out, keeping the strangers back.

"Get out of here guys, I'll cover you."

She put herself between the group and the strangers. "Bout time Necros" she grinned.


She looked out of the window to the ground 3 floors below.

"Run, we're going to have a bonfire I think"

 

Zarax sensed Kyla was unconfortable so he then liquidised and solidified infront of Kyla. "Kyla are you okay? Dont worry I can fend (sp?) for my self if anything happens do not think of me as a burden, I have changed since we last met I control my powers more." Zarax put his hood up and then spread out his wings even more. "Kyla If you need me to I will protect you from the flames or I will get you out of here and take you back to your place?"

 

Kyla smiled at Zarax, "I'm half fire demon, from my father. I can protect you. I'll be the one starting the bonfire once I can get you all clear. I have my full powers now."

"Please care for your own safety, and I will protect you. Fire is my element. I will meet you all back at the house."

She felt a deep protective love for the motley crew that were at this moment fighting for one of their members. She could set fires causing chaos and distracting the enemy. They could escape in the confusion. She smiled again at Zarax and ran off to start the distraction.

 

"looks at kyla* crud kyla's distraction isnt going to be enough...they'll still attck the mansion......."

"zeke i can help *put hands together then sings a soft hymm*"

at that moment feathers went down on the hunters and they went to sleep.

" i see your white magic has grown....."

'*nods* its time to get out of here'

'ok.......guys lets go!!!!! *takes scarlet's hand then jumps out the window*

Zarax nodded and watched Kyla run off so Zarax went to his apartment looked for things he could take with him. He took a Ipod, his Phone and a box that he handeled very carefully he put it in a One strap bag that hanged from his shoulder he then went to the SkyScraper and stayed there looking at the box, he didnt open it he just had it in his hands mumbeling to himself "Why cant I use some of my powers what happening to me, that one ability is working but why wont my blades come out and where have my horns gone. Zarax looked below at an allyway a man was being mugged he noticed the man was dressed diferently Zarax jumped down and stopped the guy he didnt use any of his powers just his fist. Zarax was about to take the final blow on this man when his face changed to a shadowy figure the figure mumbeled something" "sdneirF" wen ruoy fo sevil eht dna efil ruoy ekat lliw eh luficrem eb dluow eh uoy rof gnimoc seh!" Zarax let go of the man who had turned back into a human he looked at the victim threw the bag at him and then Zarax jumped back up to the SkyScraper thinking about what the guy said

Kyla let Necros attack and ran to the others. "Run together" she created a wall of fire to slow any pursuers.

"Welcome to the group Scarlet, I'm Kyla. Is everyone ok? Zarax has left again. I wish he would trust us enough to stay with us."

Kyla still wanted to fight, but was trying to take control again. Her blood burned. She felt no one would understand her need to fight. The pure bliss of it. She grabbed Zeke & Scarlet and run back to the house, carrying them both and allowing the strength to flow through her veins.

OOC: He's coming for you. He would be merciful. He will take your life and the lives of your new 'Friends'.

Kyla checked everyone was ok and then collapsed in a heap. Her eyes closed and she started to sway.

"I feel a bit tired"

All the energy seemed to drain out of her.

'So this is Zeke's friend. Perhaps he will be a little calmer now that she is with him, and perhaps she can help him remember his past.'
