The Shadow Period

Kyla gave out a piercing scream and crumpled to the floor. Her breathing was heavy and she was groaning slightly. Her eyes were closed and she made no attempt to move.

 

*runs torwards kyla*

"are you ok? the light should hav harmed gharanth since he walks in darkness not u......" *zeke has a worried look* "this should help" *lights surrond kyla and heals her*

 

"What happened? I remember Shadonic talking about his bike, Necros getting angry and then everything went blank. Why am I out in the garden with my sword drawn and why are you standing over me? What have I done? Is everyone ok?"

Kyla covered her face with her hands.

 

well that ghost of urs gharanth took over your body and tried to kill us all but in the end the light saved us * turns back to normal form* hehehehe everyone's light......helped.....u- *zeke faints*

zeke was tired extremly all that power had drained him , almost...........to death.........

 

Kyla took Zeke in her arms and closed her eyes. Her hand hovered over his heart and purple light enimated from it. 'Take my life force to strengthen your own' she thought. She poured the healing energy into Zeke's body. She owed him her life.

After stopping she got slowly to her feet, took Zeke in her arms and carried him inside where she wrapped him in a blanket.

As she watched over him she made a phone call.

 

zeke dreams:

??1: dr. hojo hav you fixed the glitchs for this experiment?

hojo: yes unlike FR-001 he is built with no heart which means no emotions

??2: FR-001 is on a rampage as we speak he is likely coming after you......

hojo: let him i'll test SD-002 agenst him hehehehehe and if SD-002 wins then he will lead my shadow army hehehe pure blood shadow creatures at my disposal..........

???2: and to keep him in check i'll be his contence i'll sleep inside his head until he does something good i'll steer him torward the darkness.....

hojo: good good hahahahahahahahahaha

Zeke seemed to be having some form of nightmare. kyla stroked his forehead.

"It's only a bad dream."

She grabbed a spare blanket and curled up on the floor next to the couch that Zeke was asleep on. She drifted off to sleep.

 

next day:

zeke:*gets up* i never fainted so many times in one week........*looks at kyla and thinks wen he used the light beam on her* shadow raiders

the shadow raiders appears

SR1:yes?

zeke: is scaret located?

SR1: yes she in a abondoned mansion on the edge of town.....

zeke: i wonder why chose there to hold one captive........any guards?

SR1: yes....its heavily guarded....

zeke: a trap.......sorry kyla but i dont want you guys in this *writes a note to kyla and leaves it by the caoch where he slept* later guys *disappears in the shadows*

letter to kyla:
dear miss kyla
I thank you for taking me in and being a good friend but now i must go save scarlet i'll be at the edge of town so dont worry i'll be bac.......

Kyla read the note and woke the others.

"Zeke's gone off on his own and is probably in great danger. I am going after him. Please join me. I'm scared for his safety."

Kyla grabbed the flame sword and slipped out of the house, onto the silent streets.

 

Zarax eyes opened as he sense Kyla needing something he tried to sense the presence of everyone there but couldnt find Zeke he tried to track Zeke but he couldnt, Zarax got up and closed his eyes he liquidised and fell into a puddle of black ink Zangetsu then appeared back up and was infront of Kyla he looked down at Kyla and said "I told you I will protect you, I will protect you as you help Zeke" Zarax put his arm on Kyla and Smiled then looked to the others.

 

Kyla hugged Zarax. "You're ok. I was worried about you."

"I can track Zeke using the sword to amplify my powers, but I'm glad you're with me. Something's happening to me and I don't trust myself at the moment."

She led the way out to follow Zeke.

 

zeke quickly dashs around the city finnaly ariving to the mansion which was in a forest

zeke:*hiding in bushs* no way those could be normal guards they look like bounty hunters........whose behind this thing anyway?

then a shadow raider appears...........

SR1:my liege , the girl named kyla has followed us here

zeke: wat? shoot i forgot to say 'not to follow me here' on the note.......well its not like she would hav listen to me anyway.............

SR1: wat are you going to do now?

zeke i'll wait for kyla its better if we go in together.....

 

Zarax felt something he saw a picture in his head of an Mansion this was his only clue. "A mansion? Did he say anything about a Mansion......A Mansion in the woods? Its heavily Guarded! Hes in trouble I think....." Zarax smiled at Kyla and then the others and he summoned an old piece of wood shapped like a sword.

 

Kyla crept up to the mansion looking for Zeke.

'I'm not leaving you on your own to face those odds' she thought.

She concentrated to pinpoint Zeke and crept up along side him.

"What's your plan?" she whispered.

 

Zarax folowed Kyla and saw Zeke "I am with Kyla...." He looked at the guard "If you want I could take out all those guards and get you in but from there your on your own."

 

*nods at zarax* 'ok go ahead.....'

 

"Be careful Zarax, and good luck"

Kyla looked at Zeke, "Ready?"

She wondered how Zeke was planning to use a fire demon in his assault. Subtlety was not usually a speciality, though she could shield from fire as well as create it.

 

Zarax nodded and walked out into the open the wooden sword started turning black and started flaming, the Guards started shooting at Zarax but Zaraxs wings blocked it....Zarax stabbed the sword in the ground and created a crack and then underneath all of the guards a huge black shadow hand came up and pulled them out they then all came up into the sword as carvings, Zarax turned around perfectly fine and walked over to Kyla and Zeke, "Lets go to the door." Zarax smashed open the gate with one of the huge black hands and walked over to the door.

 

'i have shadow powers and this guy has a form thats better looking than mine...........very interesting c'mon lets go'

zeke and the others rushed in but the place seem to be empty

'wat? no way......its empty.'

 

"Can you sense where Scarlet is being held?"

Kyla moved forward purposefully. Her hand appeared to be burning.

"Zeke, tune me into Scarlet, I want to show you a trick I can do with my healing powers, but I need to be able to identify her so I won't hurt her."
