The Shadow Period

"Kyla,you okay?"

 

miss kyla? *has a stuned look*

 

'Can't move, can't speak. If anyone can hear me stay within the barrier.'

Kyla lay helpless and out of sight. The figure under her dissolved, dumping her on the cold earth.

'Oh great, bet it will freeze as well' she thought to herself. 'Can't be dead then'

 

this darkness why am i scared of it? *flinches* i never even felt it but im scared of it *looks at hands* wats........wats wrong with me?

 

Charges in."Kyla!"Clutches Kyla.

 

Kyla smiled up at him. 'Got to move to get them back in the barrier.' She struggled to get up.

"lets get back into the house" she gasped

 

Zarax sat up... looking at what was going on he couldnt do much but he then stood up leaning against a wall he looked at miss Kyla.
{If anything starts to go wrong Im going to help}
Zarax looked at everyone. When sudenly his legs started moving forward he was walking straight into the barrier towards Kyla he tried to stop but couldnt move his body something else was controling him.
"EVERYONE PLEASE STOP ME STRICK ME DOWN!!! STOP ME!" He looked towards everyone hoping they could stop him. He knew before they could stop him he would have already gotten in Kylas way so he punched himself in the face which didnt do anything so he brushed his hand against the wall pull of a large metal pole he stabbed himself with and knocked his legs down.

 

Kyla saw Zarax and immediately moved towards him. His behaviour was erratic, and she was concerned for everyone's safety. As he fell, she reached for him, her eyes flaring red.

"Everyone inside" she whispered. "My danger is passed, but there will be more tonight. "Can somebody bring my sword please?"

Kyla carried Zarax as best she could back to the house. "We need to stay together"

'I am here for you. Stay indoors with me and you will be safe.'

 

*stands there stuned* "wats this darkness?" *holds head while screaming* GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! then voicesflashed in zeke's head

???: Zeke do you remeber now? zeke come back to the darkness hehehehehe destroy her and all of your friends they mean nothing to you ,
*an image of zeke killing people flashs in his head*this is your true nature not this so called friendship this is wat you are give in to me..............

zeke: no thats not who i am!!!!

???: maybe i need to remind you who i am!!!!!!!!

zeke just laid there brain dead. then his eyes turned blood red.........

 

Kyla dragged Zarax into the house and lay him on the couch, covering him with a blanket. Just then she heard Zeke scream. 'This is not my night' she thought. She stumbled into the garden to see Zeke lay prone on the grass.

"Please help me carry him in someone."

Kyla was becoming more aware that the dark forces affecting thr group were nothing to do with her. Gharanth had escaped the sword somehow and she had defeated him, whether permanently or temporarily she did not know. She probably had the least problems now, so she could concentrate on the others.

She requested that Zeke be put on the second couch, so she could check and watch over them both at the same time. 'It's a good job my father was yokai, as I inherited his recovery speed.'

 

He had started to transform back.His headband was off,claws and fangs growing,and his eyes darkening."Thats it!"He said in a dark tone.Grabs Tetsusaiga."I'm tired of that sword spirit tormenting you,Kyla."Opens Dark Portal"I'm going to destroy it once and for all...."He said growling.Walks into portal.

 

"Wait Necros please!" Kyla was now frantic. "The spirit sword is cracked, he is out of the prison."

She grabbed her sword and ran after him, grabbing him as he entered the portal.

Tears streamed down her face. This was not what she was taught would happen. She wanted Necros to stay in the house, in safety. Gharanth was her's to deal with and she couldn't bear the thought of anyone suffering on her behalf.

'Where he goes, I go' she thought, 'I won't let go. The others are safe in the house and the barrier is strong.'

She dived through the portal after him.

ooc. Where's Shadonic? He seems to have vanished!

 

then after kyla ran off zeke woke up but some how wasent himself......

zeke: *gets up*that sword...............if thats someone's prison then it can be his prison............*then he runs after kyla with quick speed*

 

Kyla couldn't believe what was happening. "The spirit is free, and it is my destiny to face him! I am his decendant, so I am the same as him. This is not a rogue demon you're facing, it's a vengeful spirit. Tetsusaiga will be useless against him."

She then saw Zeke coming. "No please, stay safe in the house. You're still recovering. Now is not the time to confront him."

At thia point Kyla was considering hunting down Gharanth alone once she had passed through the portal. Thet would go back idf they could not find her or Gharanth, after all, she was the only one who knew what he looked like. The only problem was everyone seemed to have a method of tracking her. Now she was beginning to feel frustrated, as she felt trapped. 'I have weakened he in our last encounter. Perhaps there is a way to help him rest rather than just destroying him.'

 

*a diffrent voice tone* kyla give me the sword i'll trap him in the sword for you........*then zeke let out his hand*

 

Zarax watched everyone trying to help Kyla but he could faintly hear her.
{Miss Kyla, they are causing you in convienience..........I will stop them for you.}
Zarax walked over to Necros and Zeke he put out his hand letting out a purple/black gas which was sleeping gas he hoped they would fall to the floor.
{Kyla this is all I can do for you at this moment, I must rest now}
Zarax Walked into a corner where there was a huge shadow he walked straight through the shadow and apeared at the SkyScraper, he sat there and slept.

 

'Thank you Zarax, rest well. If you need me just call.' Kyla realised that Zarax was trying to understand what she was going through. She needed to solve this without putting the others at risk.

"I'm sorry Zeke and Necros, but I couldn't bear you to be hurt on my behalf. Please try to understand. I must face this alone. I think Zarax understands. You are both brave, true friends."

With this she disappeared into the portal that Necros had created.

 

Zarax could see through the shadows all though he had to rest he still watched what was going on with Kyla.

 

Kyla drew her sword, which glowed blue. She was now alone, and would need all her strenth and cunning. I need to destroy him before he attacks the others. My life is worthless compared to theirs. She sought the familiar figure among the haunted souls. She had seen him close.

She spotted him in the distance, and he automatically turned to her. "So it has come to this." she said. "You must harm no others."

"Your ancestors created me, so you have inherited the result. Do you think that you can wipe clean the slate? There is a cost" (- Gharanth)

"I don't understand" Kyla was confused.

"I have sought revenge on all generations for the wrong that was done to me. I was framed, my soul trapped into slavery and my remains hidden and discarded. I do not apologise for my acts, but the evil in this line must end. I attacked you as I thought you were evil as the rest, but there is something strange about you. You are not the cruel yokai that you forebears were. "

"What must I do to put things right?" Kyla was beggining to feel sympathy for the spirit.

"Go back, destroy the sword and find my remains. Bury me with the love and care I deserve. Correct the mistakes of the past. I will travel with you, sharing your body. I will not harm you, but if you betray me I will destroy you."

Kyla agreed, and the spirit jolted into her body. Her eyes flared and she felt power surging through her body. "Lets go home"

Kyla stepped back through the portal.

 

*wakes up from seeping gas* darnit!!!!!!!! were did she go!!!!!! zeke ur lucky hehehehe i only hav thirty min. in ur body then 9 hours from now i'll be back....................

*sees kyla stepping out of portal*
looks like i don't hav to wait.......

to kyla: kyla let me see the sword...........*eyes turn light red*
