The Shadow Period

Kyla felt terrible for Necros. It was bad enough that she had seen her parents die as a small child, only to be avoided after. Poor Necros was suffering worse. At least she knew who her family was.

Kyla looked at the others, and then hugged Necros. "I'm so sorry"

 

"Its okay."starts crying.Stands up"I need some air"Walks out.

 

Zarax opened his eyes and moved his right arm, he lifted it up and a light shone and on the floor a shadow apeared saying "Thankyou, I apreciate you looking after me" He smiled although he was still in pain he summoned his wings which raped around his body leaving only his arm and head visible.

 

'That was not a sensible thing to do tonight of all nights' Kyla thought. She drew the ancient sword from the scabbard and raised it to test the weight. 'Looks like I'm following at a discreet distance. There is bound to be something go wrong. It always does.'

The markings on the sword seemed to glow softly.

 

Unsheathes all swords.Puts them in ground.Puts on Inuyasha's necklace.Sighs.

 

*wakes up then yawns* why do it feel like i ate a truck load of brownies................*{walks out of room* hmm? miss kyla your awake?}

Kyla reached to Zarax with her thoughts, 'Can I help you?' She seemed somehow unable to fully heal him, and this was making her upset. @Let me share your burden of pain.'

She looked out at Necro, comfortably seeing him as clear as if he was right next to her. He has a lot on his mind, and I wish he would share the pain. He's just like his grandfather, and if I am right those are his grandfather's possessions.

She looked down at the sword blade that was glowing more insistantly..
"Oh damn! Why is nothing ever peaceful?"

Kyla watched Zeke go past. She slipped outside and patrolled the gardens. There was a bad aura at the perimeter. She raised her left hand which appeared to burst into flame.

'I'm ready this time.' Her eyes glowed bright red and she raised the sword in a defensive position. There was a dark form just beyond the barrier.

"So you released me in order to take this form. Why would you want to return to this world? Haven't you created enough evil?"

She stepped though the barrier with the sword raised and prepared to fight.

 

Zarax heard Kyla and smiled
{I think I may be able to sit up you could help me up if you wanted?}
Zarax thought about everything he had been through and was glad he had friends.

 

"Kyla!"Jumps in after Her cluching a GOLD cube.

 

"Stay back! This is my fight! You can't take part in this." Kyla turned to Necro and appeared to completely burst into flame. "You have terrorised my family for long enough, I carry the hate and revenge of all those you have wronged. This will end tonight!"

There was a huge explosion and a fireball appeared driving everyone back. Debris flew from the fight, then everything went silent.

 

"Kyla catch!"Throws the Gold cube."It's a Tetsusaiga copy I made when I met you!The Kylasaiga!Use it well!"

Kyla was aware that someone (or many) were trying to talk to her. She lay across the prone body of another, and everywhere was scorched black around her. She could see that she was in some kind of crater or pit but could neither move or speak.

She could feel the hilt of a sword in her hand, but could remember nothing.

She went to watch over Necros. Was she dead?
