The Shadow Period

Kyla smiled at him and then looked embarrassed. "I er have actually, from a fancy dress costume. I'll get them for you. Will they be ok?"

She ran to get the headband and returned to find him kneeling on the floor. Dragging a blanket ff the chair she wrapped it around him. "You're going to be ok"

She smiled at Zeke and walked towards him. You should rest as well, so I'll get more blankets. She closed her eyes and concentrated. The blankets appeared in front of her. "Neat trick, huh!" She handed a blanket to Zeke and then took blankets to Zarax and Shadonic. " I hope you guys are ok. Is there anything any of you need?"

 

"thnx miss kyla these blankets so soft i might actually............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz *falls on bed instantly*

Zarax watched as everyone helped each other he wanted to get up and help and stop being a burden but he couldnt he just kept having memories or dreams he couldnt tell what they were though he did hope they were dreams, he didnt want to know that he killed Xenka he just wished it wasnt true.

Xenka: This is fun, lets have a play sword fight, I want to be a warrior.

Zarax: Erm...uh...okay.....we need play swords though
(Sword apears into Zaraxs hand)
Xenka:Hey where did you get that from, thats not fair, Oh, well I have my one over there, hold on.
Zarax: {Where did this come from?} O..Ok.
Xenka: Here we go.
(Gently stricks Zarax on the back and massive arm comes out and pulls the sword and swats Xenka to the wall)
Xenka: OWWW!!!!!! YOUR NOT ALOUD TO HURT
(Cries and Zarax gasps)
Zarax: Huh.....what....what was that?
(Arm covers Zarax in darkness)
Deamonic Entity: Lets go play together again.
Zarax: Its Dark......wheres Xenka.....

 

"Ugghhh...."The transformation was complete."Man that took a lot more outta' me then the last time.Kyla!"

 

Kyla looked at the group. She was probably the strongest here at the moment. Zeke was reasting peacefully. He deserved it. He needed a safe home where no one could hurt him.

She turned to Zarax, who did not seem as peaceful. 'Rest my dear friend, I will protect you. The sword is dormant, and I can remove it at present. I have another which I will use for this night.'

She turned to Necros, who was awake but obviously in distress. She smiled, took off the sword belt, locking it in a cupboard. She then took out a large ornate box. Opening it, she removed an old well looked after sword.

Kyla walked over to Necros and sat next to him. "This sword is neither good or evil. It enhances my fire abilities. Unfortunately the other is like a parasite so I can't remove it for long. It's dormant now. With this one I can protect you. Ironically it belonged to Gharanth."

You can rely on me to watch over your safety. I rarely sleep, and so you can rest in safety. Should trouble occur I will put myself between you and the danger. My demon blood burns in my veins, but I can control it. If you can't sleep tell me more of your quest and travels."

 

"Acctually I wanted to ask you how I looked."

 

"Tired, but really cute with the dog ears on! I can show you if you want. I can get a mirror, or do you just want my personal opinion?"

 

"I'd like your opinion,please.Thanks for treating me so well.You know its nice that I'm gonna be able to spend X-mas in my human form."

Kyla blushed and shifted uncomfortably. " I was a bit scared of you at first, and you do look a lot like the descriptions of your grandfather when you're in demon form, but that doesn't bother me. Now you're in human form, you look um... a cute guy. I think you need to relax though, let Shadonic and I look after you."

'Please don't kill me when you're back in demon form for that' Kyla thought.

He blushed."Thanks"Trying quickly to change the subject he said,still blushing,"You know X-mas is in a few days."

"I certainly do. I have got everything in for Xmas, though it seems a bit pointless, as I am always on my own. Don't suppose you guys would like to stay and help me eat the food?"

Kyla edged a little away from Necros feeling that she had embarrassed herself again....:o

 

"Sure.Hey,If you want...,"blushes',"I'll be with you an X-mas

 

"Thanks....I'd like that a lot." Kyla was having trouble facing him.

"Can I ask you about your parents. I mean, if your granfather was Inuyasha then your grandmother was??? Sorry if I seem nosey, but well, I remember the stories..."

 

"I can't remember...I never met her."Tears come to eyes.

 

*talking in sleep* mom i dont wanna go to school that bully is gannah give me double wedges.....................................................mmmmmmmmm brownies^^ *bites pillow*

Kyla reached out and stroked Zeke's forehead. " Its alright, the bully can't hurt you now. There are brownies in the kitchen when you want them."

She turned to Necros, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. So you are alone like me?"
She put her hand on Necros's shoulder, "You haven't had an easy time of it have you?"
