The Shadow Period

Here in Earth, there are more creatures than there appears to be. Most of these creatures are of the night, found in special night clubs, doing this and that. Humans? They know, and respect their nature. It doesn't bother them, for they have already found ways to make living among each other easier. Thus, by living together, there have been many half breeds. Over the years, they found that the world now held more humans and half breeds than the pure bloods. To find a pure blood, they say, would be a wonderful gift. Sadly, few even exist now...

Welcome to what they call, the Shadow Period, where most things are done in the shadows...

This roleplay is basically normal life ((drama and all)), besides the fact that there are these "shadow" creatures: aka vampires, lycans, demons, etc. I would like a 2 paragraph post for you first post explaining your name, age ((Try not to be any younger than 15)), appearance, and race. No template, though. XP Also, in each post you have to have a minimum of 3 sentances unless you're in a conversation with someone else. There won't be any godding, either, unless you've got permission from the person you're controlling. You can have up to 2 characters, and you can join anytime. C=


This is an old rp that went pretty well before when I was rping with other people at another place. XP So yea, hope it does good here too. ^=^ Note, each shadow creature should either be a half breed or full. There are limited full breed shadow creatures, so not everyone should go and be a full breed.

Celeste walked slowly though the city unlike most of the people she saw. She was small for 15 - infact, four feet, seven inches would be small for 12. But she didn't care. Being small helped her buisness. She pulled down the bandana that hid her fox ears slightly and tightened her tail around her waist. She looked completely human, except if you noticed her ears or her tail. and her teeth looked kinda sharp, too. She knew it wouldn't matter if someone saw she was a haft breed demon, but she did it anyway. People tended to trust humans more, since they had no powers.

There's one, she thought. She bumped a man with black hair and dark skin. He looked very rich from the suit he was wearing. She flipped her long, red hair and quickly whimpered, "Oh, I'm sorry, sir." She made her hazle eyes look as apolligetic as possible. "That's alright, hun," he replied, smiling. He walked past her. As soon as he was out of sight, she disabled the illusion of her standing there. Her illusions effected touch, hearing, and, of course, sight, even though it could only be held for 5 minutes effectively and took 6 minutes for every one she used to recharge it. She examined the guy's wallet. I wonder how much money I scored.... the small pick-pocketer thought.

 

Can I be any character I want in this rpg?

Zarax walked into a small allyway looking hunchbacked he looked around seeing no one there, he then took of his Trench Coat, his wings then flapped straight out almost pushing the allyway walls down he then consentrated very hard trying to make them disapear slowly they shriviled up and were absorbed into his back. He then Strechted his arms and put his coat back on now he looked human exept from the small horns he had sticking out of his head luckily they wear shapped so they went backwards he then put on his hood and he was fine.

He walked over to the nightclub watching a small girl bump into a man as he saw her he felt slightly cold and shivery almost as if he knew her all of a sudden he then shook it off and carried on. As he got to the Nighclub he looked around seeing over everyones head because he was 6ft 11inches which meant he towered over everyone he then saw that little girl looking at a wallet he decided to ask her a question, but being the guy he was he quickly though up many posible ideas to get to the question he wanted to ask without offending her.

 

Celeste looked up, quickly. There was a man near by who was staring at her… Oh jeez… she thought, sighing. Here we go again… She stepped backwards a little , clutching the wallet to her chest. “Back off!†she growled. “It’s mine! I got it fair and square!†She tensed, as if she thought he would attack her. Her ears flattened under her bandana, and her eyes narrowed into slits. She was ready for anything he might throw at her.

 

Kyla watched from the shadow of the doorway, her red eyes covered in the vain hope that she wouldn't be noticed. She knew that she could move unnoticed as long as she kept her eyes and ears covered. Her demon mother had taught her this. She wanted so much to be with her friends at the club. Pure blood humans unsettled her a little, as she always felt that she would be singled out at any time. She looked at the girl talking to the figure opposite and suddenly the familiar anger rose in her, as her non'human side took over.
"Hey, leave her alone! Haven't you got anything better to do than harass others?"

She looked at the girl clutching the wallet.

"Are you ok?"

 

Jonathan looked around.The 15 year old, goth, dog half-demon,cluched his swords,Tetsusaiga,Tensuseiga,Darksusaiga,and Flamesaiga closely.He noticed a half demon steal a man's wallet.Darn her!Take this theif!Unsheaths Tensuseiga."Dragon Strike!"

Shadonic saw an attack head toward a half-demon.The Dragon Strike!Jonathan you idiot!He teleported in front of her."Backlash Wing!"He put his wings out in front of himself and blocked the dragon strike."Thank me later."he said as he walked off.

 

Kyla raced to the half demon who had just been attacked. "Kids!" She pointed at the retreating figure, and a jet of fire emerged. In her 125 years she had only used the ability a few times but the anger was on her. Young by demon standards, she had led a tough life and had no time for games. She stroked the hilt of the black sword at her side. The soul reaver hummed in a hungry manner. She knew that to draw the sword meant blood would be spilt, so she rarely drew it. The sword was cursed and would kill her when she became too weak to control it.

She followed the retreating figure, trying to keep out of sight as much as possible.

 

Zarax jumped out of the Angry that he didnt get to ask the young looking girl about her powers he clapped his hands making a huge beam of light blinding the people in the queue He grabbed the girl and dragged her into an allyway he then looked down at his arm seeing that a long broadsword was slowly coming out of his back from a large black hole like gap he shoved it back in with a cry "AAAAAAARGH, Damn, This is Bad Hes thirsty! Stupid Moron!" He then sighed and looked to the girl "Are you okay?"

 

Kyla cursed herself for losing control. She felt terrible that she had possibly hit the retreating figure who had come to the aid of the girl. He moved so fast! She was a trained healer with inate healing powers, so she could sort the physical wounds, but the damage she had done to any communication with the stranger would be harder to heal. The anger was the downside of her heritage. Higher demonic powers were a pain in the neck!

She wondered if the fox demon girl was ok. She remembered how she had struggled in the beginning. Who was the stranger with the sword and the bad attitude? Death was a severe punishment for stealing a wallet. Demon swords were no toys. He was dangerous and she would watch out for him! He was not someone to trifle with!

 

((Remember guys, this is basically like real life, just with the few twists being a shadow creature can bring. XDDD I'm sure no one would start waving around huge swords just because of one little pickpocketer. XDDDDDDD))

Celeste jumped back quickly, her eyes darting around nervously. "Who ARE you people?!" she shrieked, involuntarily. "Do I know you?!" She was a tad bit freaked out by them all. She was basically a street rat; it was rare that anyone would even waste their time looking at her.

Sure, she'd been caught stealing things before, but the most anyone had ever done was take it away from her and keep it themselves. And now, three strangers pop out of nowhere and start asking her questions and attacking her, and... It was just too confusing for her to understand!

She backed away from the man some more, gulped and asked, in a weaker voice, "Who ARE you...?" She still wasn't sure if he wanted to harm her or help her.

Kyla snuck back and tried to look inconspicuous.

"Are you ok? Some freak tried to kill you. "
"I'm Kyla. Who are you?"

Kyla looked at the others gathered "Er Hi, who are you guys? Anyone hurt?"

She glanced at the people gathered and relaxed when she realised that none of them were human. Suddenly the crowd seemed friendlier. She tugged at her pointed ear nervously and waited for someone else to comment.

 

Celeste looked around nervously. She didn't like the attention - she wasn't used to it. She was used to being treated like a fly on the wall. All these people staring at her... It just made her even more anxious (SP?) She stepped back again, stuffing the wallet she'd stolen in her back pocket. "Doesn't matter," she murmured. "I'm okay, really. You guys can... go on, now."

With that, she turned and started to jog away.

 

Teleports in front of her"Look you obviously need protection so Jon and I will be your...@$$ociates.For a 60-40 split of course." :D

 

Kyla rejoined the queue for the nightclub. "Poor kid" she muttered to herself. "Life isn't going to be easy for her." She pulled her collar up to hide her features and shuffled with the rest of the queue. Life seemed to suck for some in life, while others seemed to breeze through. She got to the front of the queue, paid entry and went in.

Kyla entered the dark crowded nightclub. Although the room was full, everyone was anonymous, and she liked this. There were no humans here, only the people she could feel safe around. She removed the coat and handed it in. Her red eyes took in everything around her as she glanced around to see if she knew anyone....

 

Zarax looked up to the to the two people he shook his head and said to the one asking whether she could help "No Im fine, Im geussing you arent all human either?....I can feel it" He looked around to see if anyone was there and then stood up straight and his wings sprotted out his back and then six large spikes came out of his wrist "As you can see I am almost the same.... " He looked back down to the small girl who was know stepping away...."Its okay...there no point being afraid about this attention we are alike we dont want to hurt you"
