OCC: my bad lets just say he took Victor from her

BIC: Seth looked at her "Your a friend to me and I want to help you" Seth simply said as he brought Victor in "where should I put him" Seth said looking around the house

 

Eva pointed at the bedroom. "In there. It's his room. I'm going to make some coffee, you want something?" She asked, heading toward the kitchen. The fact that he had called her a friend made her smile, even if she hid that smile.

 

"sure I would love a cup" Seth said with a smile and took Victor upstairs and placed him up into his room. After placing Victor on his bed he turned and walked down back into the kitchen. "so how has peace been treating you" Seth said to Eva

 

Gently placing the cup in front of Seth on the table, Eva cradled her own, taking a small sip. "It's been okay. Victor's a really good dad, given a chance. He lets me do what i want, within reason, and always keeps the cupboards stocked." She smiled a little. "I guess I'm doing alright. What about you?"

 

Leon led the way back outside and into the streets. "Do you think you can find a shop?", he asked as he turned to Rei.

 

Seth took a seat and held the cup and sighed "Its been going alright I guess. After I split up from you guys I went exploring to improve my gift. I only reached this town 5 days ago" Seth said and took a sip of his drink.

 

Eva tilted her head, watching him as she cradled her own cup. "I like it here." she murmured, looking down at the light colored drink. "It feels safe. So have you met Larenzo?" she asked quietly?

 

Seth looked up at her immediatly when she said Larenzo. "isn't Larenzo dead just like the other gifts in that damn castle" Seth said. Memories of Larenzo and the Orphanage filled his mind

 

Eva shook her head, keeping her head down. "No, he apparently lived, as well as some others. He's...confusing..." she drifted off, thinking about their recent meeting, and the Larz she had known before. What had they done? What could they do to stop him? She just wanted Elevir and Larz back.

 

Seth looked down at his cup and sighed as he gripped the cup tightly "damn it.........I thought the worst was over. If only Larz was back not that Larenzo." Seth said and looked up at Eva "so have you seen Elevir since we split up?" Seth said

 

Eva shook her head without hesitation. "I'm worried about her. I want to find her, keep her safe." she smiled a little. "I don't think I need to try and keep you safe." Taking a longer drink from her cup, she rinsed it out, then put it in the sink.

 

Seth smiled when he heard that. "Elevir is a very talented girl. She can take care of herself." Seth said and took another sip from his cup "although I can understand why you might be worried about her" Seth said

 

Eva turned her head slightly, watching Seth curiously. "Of course you would.." she murmured, turning back to her task and rinsing and drying her hands. "So," she turned around, leaning back against the counter. "Larenzo is out there planning who knows what. I need time to heal, as does my father..." she rubbed her wrist pensively. "Elevir won't stand a chance against him."

 

'he won't get his way. We have to stop him from causing any harm to anybody" Seth said and sighed I finally found a peaceful town where gifts can live in peace but he has to come and ruin it Seth thought to himself and began to think more about the issue until he noticed that Eva said something that was strange to him. "wait did you say "father"?" Seth said confused

 

Eva looked up, slightly confused. "Yes? Victor adopted me, so...technically Larenzo and I are siblings." She could have almost smiled at the thought. They were so different in every way. "He would like that all too much.." she murmured.

 

Seth had been taking a sip from his drink when he heard that. He almost choked and began coughing when he heard that Victor adopted her "what? you mean to tell your that mans daughter now" Seth said surprised that she was the adopted daughter of the man he despised

 

Eva tilted her head, surprised. "Yes? I had nowhere else to go, and he asked me. He's a good man. Everyone makes mistakes." He was her father after all, and he had given her a home and a life. "Everyone...."

 

Seth closed his eyes "That man is the cause of all my pain and suffering. So many people suffered and died because of him. Forgiveness will not be given so easily to him" Seth said

 

"Is that so, Seth?"

Across the hallway, hunched against the door frame. Victor stared at the boy through dim, sad eyes.

"You know, Seth..." the man's fingers dug into the whitewash paint of the wall. "I never asked for forgiveness, nor did I ever expect it. If vengance is what you desire, it would be best if you did it here and now before your resolve runs dry.

With great effort, the former director of the orphanage stood on his shaking legs. Each breath he took was a fight to keep down.

 

Eva's eyes widened, and she rushed to help her foster father. His condition seemed to have worsened....she gently touched his forehead, feeling for a fever. "You should be in bed." she murmured, supporting him. She didn't add that if Seth had wanted to hurt him, he would have to go through her. She didn't have to add it.
