User Note: I'm BACK!!! Trip was awesome, got a lot of writing done and now can relax and return to the world of hectic school and work. And I have an added treat: since i was unable to add chapter 2 before leaving, i'm tagging it together with chapter three!! It's like a double wammy of joy.
    ~Chapter Two~

The cold, dark emptiness of space stretched out in all directions as small pockets of gas clouds, comets and distant moons and worlds blinked back across the expansive ocean and through the first successful test of the interstellar telescope. Kevin released a large sigh of relief and sat back in his straight backed swivel chair, as four years worth of trial and error had been met with success. It had worked.

Quickly, he flipped open a notebook and began to jot down a series of notes as his eye pressed against the viewfinder as the orbital space station Kerrian floated in orbit around the world of Tallon IV.

“Test Number 2 is so far expanding our further than I had thought the lens magnification could see. It is theoretically possible to see every world inside the Mushroom Kingdom depending on our orbit and line of sight.†Kevin began to state as he feverishly transcribed his self spoken notes.

He adjusted a series of dials and the large telescope slowly began to swivel, coming to rest pointed at a different section of space. “My God,†he whispered as the telescope zoomed in on the farthest planet of Neverland, “With this machine we can see into Kingdom Hearts, and my guess is also into the Farplane when we circle around the planet.â€

Kevin pulled away unwillingly from the telescope as he double checked his notes and swung around to the computer patiently hibernating besides him. With a flurry of keystrokes, Kevin faxed the findings to the Mushroom Kingdom Research and Development Head of Operations, Luigi, and a secondary copy to the Princess herself.

A moment later, a chirp rang through the laboratory as an incoming message flashed across the screen. Kevin frowned as he opened the message, but his face quickly changed to shock as he read further.

    ~Kevin~
It pleases me to hear that your theory and experiment have worked, but we have trouble. I need you to focus the telescope toward Macalania, there was an attack on a joint archeological recovery. The Prime Fusion and Arwing Memory are on station, the Princess has asked me to have you scan the area for any signs of further attack.
    ~H.o.D. Luigi~

Kevin spun around, pulling himself toward the telescope as he overturned a mug of brightly colored green soda, but it didn’t matter at the moment. He input the coordinates and watched as Macalania slowly zoomed into focus. Kevin saw the Arwing and Prime stationed outside of the system, ferrying what looked to be escape pods.

Kevin zoomed out slightly as he brought the surrounding worlds into focus and blinked, a metal glint catching his attention. “What is that…â€

Warning sirens began to screech throughout the station, jolting Kevin away from the mysterious object. He leapt up, racing up to the next deck and stood on the Kerrian’s bridge as a missile connected with the forward shields, sending more sirens and blasting the station from its orbit.

As Kevin tried to regain orbit, another missile struck the rear wing, blistering it into a multitude of pieces, a large section of debris severing the gravity generator, sending all manner of objects and Kevin tumbling around inside weightless.

A shower of sparks erupted from the bridge computer terminal, barely missing Kevin as he smashed the emergency distress beacon. In the chaos, he had tried to get a lock on where the missiles were coming from, but all that met him was empty space, and Tallon IV slowly creeping closer as Kerrian continued to drop.

“bzzzt…rian, this is…under attack? Please…..spond…Prime†the speakers statically demanded.

Kevin swung himself around, grabbing a hold of the pilot chair, and pulled himself to the comm board. Reaching down, he flicked open the communication.

“Prime Fusion, this is Kerrian. Have sustained heavy damage from an unknown source above Tallon IV. Sending you telemetry from new interstellar telescope of possible attack on Macalania fleeing world,†Kevin braced himself as another round of missiles peppered the weakening vessel, “Shields are gone, life support is failing.â€

“…This is General Aran, we read you, preparing to warp to your locati—“

A blast shook the station as Kevin slammed into the forward bulkhead, stars dancing before his eyes. He tried to shake away the cobwebs but darkness was slowly inching itself into the corners of his eyes, but something else was there. He reached down and grazed the input button as below the telescope began to snap thousands of images of the mysterious object vanishing into a dust cloud far beyond Hyrule. He gazed out the window as the ship began to glow red hot as the Mushroom Kingdom’s space scientific station blew apart in the stratosphere high above Tallon IV, raining debris like a meteor shower.

    ~Chapter 3~

Try as best Princess Peach and Queen Minnie could, news quickly began to spread across the three kingdoms of the massacre at Macalania and the destruction of the Kerrian. Soon, every person across the three kingdoms were whispering of fear that something evil was coming, and quickly fingers were pointing themselves at Kingdom Hearts.

“With the death toll now at an estimated 45 at the hands of the heartless, and theories that the attack above Tallon IV was not due to renegade Space Pirates but a secret attack from within Kingdom Hearts, many feel that the monarchy of Queen Minnie has taken a turn for the worst since the death of her King over five years ago.

With the knowledge that the keyblade wielder Riku has vanished and with news of his turn to the darkness seven years ago, it seems possible that he is behind these attacks. We will have more information as it becomes available.†The television blared as Sora reached over and flicked it off.

This was going to be a long day.

Sora donned his customary red and golden black clothes, and rose from the bed, stretching and messaging his stubbly face. Walking over, he flipped on his cell phone and just as soon threw it to the side; not a text or call from Kairi.

Minutes later, Sora was walking about the Castle, noticing that the mood had turned very grave and everyone was in a hurry. Carrying a set of charts, Goofy passed underneath an archway, barely missing Chip and Dale scurrying down to the Gummi Dock. “Hey Goofy!†Sora yelled, causing the Knight to throw everything skyward as he leapt backwards.

“Oh! Mornin' Sora. It’s been busy around here. I ain’t had the chance to see ya in awhile.â€

“Yea its fine, everybody around here has been busy since Macalania. Where are you heading?â€

Goofy shifted slightly, trying to pick up the charts without making eye contact with Sora. “I’m just, um, taking in the sights.â€

Sora started suspiciously at his long time friend. “Is that so? Well if that’s the case, make sure to say hi to Kairi.â€

“I will after I drop these off with Master Azzurro—“ Goofy began before his eyes grew wide and Donald flew from out of nowhere and slammed his mouth closed.

“You aren’t supposed to tell anyone Goofy!†the Mage yelled, waving his staff around to add intimidation to his voice.

“Ah Donald, I know that, But he’s got to know soon.â€

“Know what soon…†Sora demanded, taking a step closer.

Donald jumped down from Goofy’s face and stared menacingly at Sora. “The Queen told us not to tell you Sora. Just that if we were to see you, to tell you that she wants you to meet her at the Observation dock this evening at seven.†He stated, pulling Goofy backwards down the hall. “And dress nice!†Goofy managed to interject before vanishing around the corner.

Tonight? What would the Queen want with me tonight…and dressed nice? Sora shook his head as he headed off toward the garden.

Sora headed off and began to work with his students in the art of keyblade fighting, part of the time his mind wandered to Kairi and the approaching evening. Little did he know, that the evening would be burned into his soul, forever.

Are you hinting that i'm telling the story before Destiny Force's story? It would be an interesting way to mix two writers works together, but i will not say, nor will I rip anything from my good friend DF. If you have any theories, PM and i'll be happy to respond.

change the storyline completely....you've not seen anything yet.

    Chapter 4

Here it is, the fabled chapter 4. I am prepared for the onslaught...are you?

    ~Chapter 4~

The sleek airships began to grow in the distant horizon shortly before seven, their arrival was cloaked in a shroud of secrecy. News quietly spread to the observation deck supervisors of the importance of the arrivals. As they hurried in frantic haste to prepare the dock, the airships began to dock.

Sora stood in partial surprise as he tugged his shirt nervously as the ships cycled through their powering down. His eyebrows rose as Princess Peach coasted down her ships boarding ramp, followed closely by her Honor Guardsmen Link and Mario. Her warfighter escorts followed a step behind, wearing matching teal and gray flight suits.

"Well well. If it isn't the Keyblade master come to greet his old amici eh?" Mario laughed as he gripped Sora in a bone-crushing hug.

"I—actually—" Sora wheezed as Mario stepped back, still smiling.

"It's good to see you again." Link smiled as he shook Sora's hand.

Sora gave both men a quick glance. "You both haven't changed a bit."

Link and Mario smiled, looking at their customary outfits. "Why change something that isn't broken?"

Sora turned from his friends and smiled warmly at Princess Peach, bowing slightly. "It's good to see you again, your Highness."

Princess Peach smiled as the older Sora rose. "You've grown up since last we met, I hardly would have recognized you if the Queen hadn't informed us you would be greeting us."

"Um…no problem." Sora managed to say before a flurry of guards erupted from the second airship. Sora began to summon his keyblade but paused as the guards parted, forming a hall as a woman walked quickly from the ship, followed by two handmaidens and to Sora's surprise: Aerith and Auron.

Aerith spotted Sora and smiled widely. "You Majesty, if I may introduce—" She stopped as the Majesty raised her left hand, effectively killing the sentence.

The woman continued to move towards Sora as Link and Mario took a step back, flanking Peach on both sides. She stopped a handful of feet from Sora, her brunette hair swaying slowly as she walked. "You are the keyblade wielder correct?" She demanded but continued before Sora could even open his mouth to respond. "Where is Queen Minnie, I was told that she would be meeting us here. We don't have time to waste, take me to her now so we can get this over with." She demanded, receiving a glare from Peach.

Sora stood there, his brain trying to comprehend the abruptness of the demands, along with the last five minutes surprises, but was saved as Ty exited from the stairwell, all eyes moving to him, along with the guard’s weapon sights.

Ty chuckled and very minutely waved his hand in the guard’s direction. “Princess Peach, it is good to see you well again. Princess Ashe, it is my pleasure to meet the newly elected leader of the Farplane Kingdom at last.†Ty stated, bowing to the woman who had been grilling Sora.

“Unfortunately there was a bit of mix up with information,†Ty began, moving so that his and Sora’s eyes met, “The Queen would like you to escort the delegates down to the Chamber Hall.â€

Sora, still somewhat confused, nodded and took the lead as the Princess’s and their entourage exited the Observation dock, leaving the dock workers to try and return to a sense of normality.

“So Sora,†Link asked, quickening to match pace with Sora, “How have things been around here since we left?â€

Sora shrugged, passing the vast laboratories of Ludwig Von Drake. “Not much, Kairi and I hooked up and moved here after high school. I became a teacher here for kids who want to learn combat with the keyblade. Riku…well…we don’t know what happened to him after the funeral…â€

At this, Princess Ashe cleared her throat, to the annoyance of Mario. “So, the vanquisher of heartless is training a future generation of fighters, while the most dangerous man has vanished…and is it also true that the Queen has resurrected jadu teachings?â€

“Jedi, Princess Ashe, Jedi.†Ty corrected, a hint of distain in his voice.

Ashe smiled to herself as the group traversed the twisting halls of Disney Castle, something about it disturbed Sora. “Of course.â€

After a few more inquiries, the group entered the open aired hall that overlooked the Disney Gardens, and turning right, passed through the magnificent pink Chamber Hall doors. All around them, denizens of Disney Castle stood at attention, turned to welcome the distinguished guests. All of the padawan and younglings wearing their customary terra colored robes, while Sora’s students were clustered around their large blue training swords. As the group continued down the magenta carpet, Queen Minnie rose from her throne, joined by Lady Daisy and flanked by Donald and Goofy.

Queen Minnie raised a gloved hand and smiled. “On behave of Kingdom Hearts and all our citizens and myself: we welcome from the Farplane Kingdom Princess Ashe of Ivalice and Aerith and Sir Auron. We also welcome Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom, as well as a fond return for Honor Guardsmen Link and Mario.â€

As the Queen continued to thank them for coming, Sora began to glance around the Hall noticing many familiar friends from the castle but his eyes stopped, and did a double take as the six Princess’s of Heart were situated in the first row, behind them were Jack Skellington, Mulan, Hercules, Peter Pan and others unknown to Sora from worlds across Kingdom Hearts. Sora frowned, the seriousness of the meeting was apparent since the Queen had apparently dissolved the World Order by allowing different worlds to join together. This can’t be good.

“Now, if I may ask that we move along, we can begin the talks.†Queen Minnie stated as she rose and began to exit the Hall, leading the delegates.

Sora remained where he was, unsure whether to continue or remain there, but felt an invisible tapping on his shoulder. He turned to see Ty joining them. “The Queen wants you present as well.†Ty whispered as he followed behind Donald and Aerith.

The dark silent prison cell reeked of mold and death, the only sign of life was coming from a slow and pulsating blue light fixated to a briefcase shaped box. Scattered across the room sat a dilapidated work station littered with tools with a radiation suit draped over a termite infested chair. A large moth-riddled cloth sat draped over a collection of machinery next to a bundle of discarded rags.

From down a darkened hallway, a creaking door opened, letting in a glimmer of weak light that trickled its way to the prison door, surrounded by the shadow of a cloaked being.

The figure moved down the hall, each footstep sounding like an approaching earthquake as they echoed off the granite walls. The figure slowed as it approached the heavily locked door. It raised its hand. A scream erupted from the pile of rags as a man painfully rolled into a fetal position on the ground.
“Rise.†The voice demanded, the pain momentarily subsiding.

The man struggled to his feet, as his features became more distinctive in the weak light, the cloaked figure smiled. The man’s clothes were fraying and nearly gone in some spots. His white hair had grown long in the weeks leading up to this moment, and a matching scraggly beard quivered on his face.

“You’ve had two weeks, is it done.â€

The man nodded vigorously, his hands nervously rubbing together as if preparing to protect himself from another jolt of pain. “It…it’s complete, but the original was never completed to Tesla’s standards!†he hoarsely explained.

The figure frowned, his head bowing slightly, bringing a quick intake of air for the prisoner. “You do not know then…I demand precision. The attack shall only be successful if the weapon WORKS. Now,†He stepped closer, seeming to grow with the shadows, “will it work?â€

The prisoner exhaled slowly, knowing that his life lay in the balance or the successfulness of his creation. “It will work.â€

The weapon began to float in the air before flying to the figure the same instant the prison door burst open, closing as quickly as it had opened upon the weapons exit. The figure held the weapon with respect, and turned to leave.

“Wait! I’ve done what you’ve asked of me, what more do you want?†the prisoner pleaded, his frail arm reaching through the bars, trying to grasp the figure.

The figure continued walking, “finish the machine.†The heavy steel door slammed shut, flooding the prison back into complete darkness.

    ***

The group entered into a well lit conference room that was furnished with a large mahogany circular table surrounded by thirteen comfortable chairs. The center of the table housed a state of the art holographic projector that was currently showing a three dimensional model of Disney Castle. As Mario and Link entered the room, Mario couldn’t help but whistle and nudge Link, “Feels like Déjà vu.â€

After a moment the delegates were seated and a quiet murmur rose as one chair remained empty besides the Queen. Sora had not really ever noticed that the Queen had an empty seat next to her in all the years he and Kairi had stayed at Disney Castle. A quiet sadness crept over him as his mind jumped back to fighting along side the fearless King Mickey, and smiled as he stared at the empty chair as a tribute.
Ty cleared his throat and began. “Ladies and Gentlemen, I welcome you to the Emergency State of the Kingdoms Congress to discuss the recent attacks on Macalania and Tallon IV.â€

The Queen nodded, and uncharacteristically, stood up. “Before we begin, I have an announcement,†She began, her eyes surveying the delegates before stopping on Sora. “Five years ago, following King Mickey’s funeral, I was presented with his will and testament. Everything has so far been followed to a T, and it was by his request that five years after his passing, his successor would take my place. So as of today, I will be stepping down as leader of Disney Castle.â€

The room remained silent as the dead as surprise and shock pasted across everyone in attendances face. The Queen raised her hand, drawing attention back on herself. “I understand that the timing of this transition is not ideal, but we have worked together and I feel that the time is appropriate.â€

The real door slowly began to open, letting in a flood of bright morning sunlight that backlit a figure wrapped in a long flowing dress. “I introduce the new leader of Disney Castle, and Kingdom Hearts: Princess Kairi.â€

Kairi entered and as everyone’s eyes adjusted to the flood of light, the Kairi everyone had known years ago was gone, replaced by a tall, well formed woman with a long flowing light pink and white gown running down to just above her ankles, her sparking blue eyes showing brilliantly; no longer hidden behind her long red violet hair, for it was pulled back into a high bun, streaks of blonde highlights swirling like waves.

She walked slowly towards the empty chair, greeting Peach and Ashe, her eyes avoiding Sora’s even though he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. In the last month, he’d not seen her for more than a handful of hours, and her constant involvement with the Queen made more sense to him, but he felt remorse that Kairi had kept this secret from him.

“Let’s begin.†Kairi announced sitting between the Queen and Daisy.

Sir Auron rose, his burgundy cloak unfolding around him. “Almost a week ago, the Spira Province of Macalania was attacked by a large force of Heartless beings. Over a third of the city was destroyed, countless hundreds injured or missing…over two hundred are confirmed dead. Our summoners have been performing sendings almost hourly. We can say that the joint Kingdom’s archeological dig project was not destroyed…but forty students and five teachers were killed.â€

Mario motioned towards a stack of stats in front of him. “The Prime and Arwing were able to rescue most of the survivors who were able to escape, and has begun to return the victims to their worlds.â€

Aerith nodded. “But the question still remains: Why did the Heartless attack in the first place?â€

The Queen started to respond, but stopped, giving the floor to Kairi, who looked as if she may pass out at any moment. Sora slowly inched his chair backwards in case he needed to help her, but Kairi inhaled, her color returning to her face.

“Since the Keyblade War, the Heartless vanished. In five years time we have not had a single outbreak, or attack. We assumed that they were destroyed when their Master, Nex, was vanquished.â€

“If that is the case, then it seems as though there is a new master controlling the Heartless.†Peach commented.

Kairi nodded. “It’s possible. We know that every person that had any control over the Heartless are gone, except for Maleficent. But she has remained isolated at the World that Never Was since before the War.â€

“Then that would give her enough time to regain her power and raise another army of Heartless.†Ashe stated, causing some to nervously shift in their seats.

“No, we have a safeguard in place that keeps Maleficent in check in case she ever tries something like that†Kairi explained, her eyes fluttering briefly to Sora, a hint of pain in them, “The Six Princess’s of Heart.â€

Sora cringed, remembering the somber day Kairi had told him of the story Aqua had told her, that she was the granddaughter of Master Nex and kidnapped in a failed attack against Nex at Distant Horizon.
“We also have a battalion of Gummi fighters stationed in that section of space, in case she were to try anything.â€

“I’m sorry Kairi, but this still doesn’t convince me. You have a vigilante sorceress who can control the Heartless, who tried to overpower this Kingdom. You have the most advanced fighters in the universe. One of my worlds was massacred at the hands of someone who controls your heartless, Peach losses a space station that is capable to see into every kingdom from an unknown space attack…I believe that you, or the Queen, is covering something up, another person that can control heartless, and I believe its name is Riku.â€

Sora stared in amazement at the accusation Ashe threw at Kairi, and as his anger bubbled to the surface, he realized he was standing with his hands clenched into fists. “Riku, disappeared. No one has seen him in over five years, for all we know he’s lying in a ditch dead somewhere and you have the gall to tell us that he is attacking two kingdoms that he has no hostility against? Yes, Riku controlled heartless when his soul was coursed by Maleficent seven years ago. I destroyed that side of him when I defeated Ansem’s heartless.†He unleashed, only to see a grim frown grown on Peach’s face.

“Your Highness, Sora: before the Kerrian was destroyed, it sent us this image.†Peach quietly said, retrieving a flash disk and inputting it into the projector.

The machine whirled quietly to life as a two dimensional image showed the Prime and Arwing Memory stationed near the World Border of Mushroom Kingdom and the Farplane Kingdom. In the distance, the golden world of Macalania could be seen, along with pockets of dense black cloud cover as the city was burning.

“This was the last image of the space station. If we magnify,†Peach began to adjust a series of dials as a small section of space near a red nebula materialized, “What model ship is that Sora.â€

Sora squinted and his heart froze. There as clear as day, sat the still image of Riku’s Highwind sailing into the nebula. “Its Gheppetto’s Highwind gummi model…Riku’s model…â€

“I’m sorry Kairi, but I have to agree with Princess Ashe; we feel that the attacks are being driven from within this castle.†Peach sadly finished, removing the disk.

Kairi remained seated, her face emotionless as she absorbed the possibility of what the next few minutes could bring. “Where does that nebula lead?â€

Ashe shook her head. “Its past Midgar, but it’s never shown us as having any importance. There has been theories that there is a worm hole that connects the Kingdoms together…is that the means you used to attack us?â€

“Ashe. I swear to you, Kingdom Hearts is not responsible for the attack on Macalania, nor the attack above Tallon IV.†The Queen stated, a degree of ice in her voice.

Peach and Ashe continued to stare at Kairi, expecting to hear her concede defeat, but Kairi returned the stares. “You have our stance, where do we go from here?â€

    ***

The dead blackness of space greeted the small, oblong black stealth ship as it passed a series of ships, entering into the sector. The figure flying smiled to himself, as he input a series of coordinates, it’s all a part of the plan... he thought as his ship sailed on, towards it’s third target, with the suitcase stowed in the safe. Only a matter of minutes…

    ***

Thirty minutes later, the Congress had digressed from verbal remarks to the threat of open warfare. In the end, Ashe and Peach left the Congress, agreeing to close their borders to Kingdom Hearts indefinitely. As the delegates exited the room, Sora glanced back at Kairi. She was slouched in her chair slightly, her expression drooping slightly, this hadn’t been the way she wanted this to go.

Sora began to make his way to talk to her, but stopped as a technician from the communications office. He bowed to the Queen, an odd confusion in his eyes. “Your Highness, we have an incoming transmission coming from a man calling himself the Founder.â€

    She nodded,†Send it through.â€

Moments later, a grainy image grew from the holographic projector, turning into a cloaked individual. Sora gasped, his hand reaching for his keyblade. The Founder smiled, a smile that sent ice down Sora’s spine.

“Hello your Majesty.†The voice of Xemnas whispered through the rooms speakers.

“XEMNAS!! What are you doing here, you were destroyed!†Sora demanded, a bead of sweat rolling down his temple.

The silhouette turned to his direction, and shook his head. “You insolent brat. You destroyed the idea of my project, not the architect, not the Founder. I am Xemnas, Xehanort and Nex. I am the man who holds your Kingdom, and the Kingdoms of Mushroom and Farplane in fear. I am the Founder, and I want the girl.â€

Kairi rose, standing above the projection. “What girl?â€

“The girl that betrayed my work, the one that destroyed my empire.â€

“Naminè…†Sora asked, his eyes meeting Kairi’s.

The projection shook its head. “The girl that entered my ranks as my own. Hand over, Nataxia.â€

The group stared at each other, as if the demand was more of an odd bit of trivia. “You will hand over Nataxia or your world will fall.†The voice again stated, handing the ultimatum.

The Queen stepped forward, taking the conversation as her own. “You threaten us, who have done nothing wrong against you. Were you the one that attacked the Macalania and the Kerrian?â€

The figure laughed, a deep and booming ancient laugh. “Those were not attacks, those were acts of righting the balance. You’ve hidden Nataxia from me for fifteen years, inside your prison of white, cause and effect. You have five minutes.†With that, the signal vanished.

“I want every ship we have in the air and above this planet on red alert!†Minnie demanded, rushing out of the room followed by Sora, Kairi and Ty, with Goofy and Donald racing to organize the knights and mages.

As the group raced frantically through the castle, Sora tried to fit the pieces together. Prison of White? Riku in the Farplane Kingdom? Nothing was making sense, but all he knew was that in two minutes, it wouldn’t matter.

Turning a corner, they launched themselves into the war room as workers rushed around, organizing escape vectors and possible scenarios. Sora found himself in front of a circular holographic chart that displayed the entire Kingdom Hearts worlds, along with red dots symbolizing fighters, all racing toward Disney Castle at warp speeds. Above the main computer bank, a digital clock slowly and painfully ticked past the minute warning, setting off alarms.

“You Majesty, we have a unidentified object entering our space, it’s a small ship of some kind.†An operator announced.

“Darkwing-1, I want that intercepted NOW!†the gruff Launchpad McQuack roared as the clock ticked past thirty seconds.

Slowly a red blip began to make its way toward a orange exclamation point moving towards Disney Castle. The room collectively held their breathe as the ships merged as one, suddenly the radio began to crackle. “Ship intercepted, no signs of life or weaponry. It’s a trap.†The pilot radioed to a disbelieving room as the display clicked to zero.

    ***

The display clicked to zero as the small ship hovered above the world so full of life, so unaware. He smiled to himself as he input a series of keys, and watched as the suitcase encased itself inside of a heat resistant missile casing, launched from the ship. He watched it coast straight and true, entering the orbit above the quiet town.

The impact lit up the sky for miles around as the weapon erupted, sending obliterated buildings and thousands of tons of rock and life skyward, forming a large green cloud of debris. The impact send a tremendous tidal wave ripping across the inlet, destroying everything in its path.

The Founder smiled, as high above, he watched the tidal wave grow and ripple outwards till it came to bear on a small remote island off of the coast. He remained there, watching the water wash over the beaches, ripping trees and shacks away from their roots.

The small ship rotated on it’s axis, pointing towards the far distant nebula. It vanished in an instant, leaving Destiny Island, in ruins...

zzzz... Don't tell me Riku has gone to become a Dark Zero...

And the way you remade Kairi, she doesn't really fits to be a Princess of Heart anymore. Although I had suspected that much, her lack of reaction and everything... How come it all sounds so grim and painful >>

I'm making this story a bit more grim and painful to go along with the mindset that Sora and Kairi aren't the kids they used to be. They've been through into the real world and alot of the time it is not happy. Also, Ashe is blaming Kingdom Hearts for possibly creating the events on Macalania is a personal attack against Ashe.

I've also kind of let Kairi be a bit more quiet and in the background because i felt that if she was asked to ruler a kingdom, she'd be nose to the books and trying to learn as much as she can to avoid messing up.

But upon hearing Riku was behind the mess, I expected Kairi to be as angry as Sora, but instead she gave the 'none of my buisness' 'super blank' look... Just doesn't seemed Kairi anymore. One thing I've learned from Kingdom Hearts is, no matter what they are, no matter how long time's gone to, they'll always be there for each other. So how come Kairi's suddenly so cold all the sudden? Of course, if you said that she's trying to hide her feelings, but...

AH! Why on earth am I even reasoning, it's pointless! I just need to read the rest of the story and I'll get my answer eventually...

Does anyone come out and say Riku was behind it besides Ashe, who is trying to blame someone that fits the bill? Kairi was blank faced because she was using a poker face so that Ashe couldn't read her, trust me, i'm not planning on changing the degree of friendship between Riku, Sora or Kairi at all...

    ...yet.
