So Britain is going wild! How is it with the rest of the world?

I was hoping for Prince Benedict ;-; but they went ahead and named him George Alexander Louis....

 

I heard that a young woman of childbearing age gave birth to a baby yesterday following nine months of pregnancy. Was that it?

 

its pretty big news here as well. people have been talking about it constantly and its all over the news

I found it silly that the BBC, I believe, interviewed a woman who had a baby the same day as Kate did. Like it was related in any significant way and was new worthy or something... -__-

But I did laugh when the interviewer asked her 'How do you think Kate is?' and this woman looked tired as hell from just having her first child, I thought 'You really think she gives a toss about Kate right now?! XD'

So King George VII? This kid'll be King before a FFVII remake! : P

 

I wanted them to name him Stormaggedon: Dark Lord of All.

Come on, I can't have been the INLY person who was thinking that?

I look forward to the day that George is crowned King and I'll be telling my grandchildren of the day he was born and I was sitting in a pub with all my friends taking about rabid cows... yeah, good times.

 

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who doesn't care about this. It kind of gets me upset at a lot of the reactions. They're just people.

 

I was in a Chinese restaurant watching TV when the news broke, and they interrupted Family Fued to cover it, so I didn't even see if the Family won the final round. I have a feeling that every time someone mentions that baby I'm going to have flashbacks to that traumatic experience.

 

Oh not everyone cares, but it's not something you can ignore really, unless you go as hermit as possible.

 

I didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth, so yeah. I also kind of forgot she existed.

 

It feels like a big "f*ck you" to all the other 4,000 babies born that day.

 

Its ok, I don't care either. Nice and all she had a kid but so did many other woman.

Personally, I was hoping that they were gonna go with Alexander for the first name, but hey it's their baby.

So now we have three out of seven Weasleys in the royal house.

 

Congratulations, I guess . . . ?

I kind of feel for the other thousand babies that were born that day because suddenly, their births and future birthdays will be less relevant to the world. Forever in the shadow of the Royal Gremlin.​
