The Rose

OOC: what is she doing? the lights thing is hard to follow... is she moving the furniture, or is she having like... a seizure to the lights lol

 

OOC: Theres lights around and only Rhixan can see them. Sometimes, they pulse or flash dimly/brightly around people.

BIC: Kaito was deep in thought as he stood playing on the balcony, he hoped not to disturb anyone, for fear of them reporting him to the king and queen... or worse.... Llednar

Rhixan stopped halfway through fixing the lights together and then tore them apart. Going out onto her balcony, she listened to the violin playing in the distance.

 

Kaito opened one eye, he looked up "terribly sorry miss Memoria," he said as he stopped playing "i know my playing tends to annoy others, especially when im not playing the music i am assigned to learn" he said

 

Rhixan shook her head. "Its beautiful. Please keep playing."

 

Kaito smiled at her "if you wish miss" he held his violin to his chin again and resumed playing, he sat on the edge of his balcony, swinging to the upbeat tempo of his song

 

Rhixan smiled, listening to it. He was a playing a nice song that Rhixan reconisged from somewhere.

 

Kaito kept playing but spoke to the wind, not moving his head to keep his instrument in place "have you ever played an instrument?" he asked

 

Rhixan nodded. "Mother taught me how to play the piano. I can play it quite well."

 

"impressive, the young girl who lived here knew how to play piano, but ever since she left it has been gathering dust" he said as he continued "id love to hear you play some time"

 

Rhixan smiled. "Sure. I'd love to. And there used to be a girl living there?"

 

"yes, when i came here as a child she was playing in a field, she saw me and started talking to me, i showed her my violin and called me Kaito, i figured since that was the name on the case, that was my name. and she would sit patiently and watch me finish playing music for her parents until i was released and then i would play for her, he was a cute girl but she left the castle a few years ago" he said

 

Rhixan nodded. "When I was little, I had a friend. He could play violin to like you. He loved black roses too. But one day, he disappeared never to be seen again..." She sighed. "I want to see him again."

 

Kaito was suprised, he had forgotten his blue rose "a black rose hmm? when i think of that i think of death, white for rebirth and red for love, but there are other colors out there, we just have yet to find them" he smiled as he kept playing

 

Rhixan sat on the edge of the balcony. "What would you say for blue roses?" She took the rose from her pocket and twirled it around between her fingers.

 

Kaito paused "hmm, a blue rose, i would say.... fate, a blue rose means fate, its dark like death but has a glow to it like hope"

 

Rhixan smiled. "I got a blue rose today. When I looked at it, your name came to mind. Thats how I knew your name." She looked over her shoulder at Kaito. "Lights glow bright around you."

 

Kaito stopped playing and turned towards her "what do you mean? a blue rose? i havent seen one since that girl left, i gave one to her and she told me to keep it to remind me of her, and i told her it would find its way back to her, even if i never see her again... i awoke the next day and she was gone..."

 

Rhixan looked back at the rose. "Didnt you say that you were meant be married? But your bride left. Do you think it was that girl?"
