The Rose

OOC: Whose feet is the rose at? *confused*

BIC: The lights stopped flashing as the room lit up again. Rhixan looked around to see... her father, dead on the floor. "FATHER!" She ran over to him and dropped to the floor by him. There was nothing she could do. Rhixan started to cry.

 

OOC: at Rhixan's feet, and the person Kaito stabbed was someone not important,(meant to be a diversion) unless you want it to be her father..... it seems really mean but if you want to do it that way

 

Neoph awoke. "well... that was a lovely nap." he chuckled to himself as he stood up. "i'd better train a little. i've been neglecting training for 2 weeks..." he said as he drew his blade to practice on a tree. he rushed the tree and striked it multiple times. he spit on the trunk and it started to decay as a result of the poison.

 

OOC: Creates more drama. :D I've read enough books to know what makes drama.

Raffello looked at the floor and saw a rose. Picking it up, he walked over to Rhixan. "I'm sorry about your father. Here, I found this on the floor where you were before." He handed her the rose.
Rhixan took it and looked at it. Something seemed so familier about it, she just couldn't put her finger on.

 

Kaito felt a strange feeling of remorse, as he always does after taking a life... is this really the plan... or am i mistaken...

 

Rhixan sighed and look back at her dead father. "At least he got to see me before he died..."
Raffello sat next to Rhixan and hugged her. "You can cry, Rhixan. Its better to let it all out."
Rhixan lent against Raffello and burst out crying again.

 

Kaito smirked and looked out a window, he walked out to the balcony and looked at the county's green fields

 

Keeleah eventually made it to the castle and went inside. She saw Rhixan crying to her dead father on the ground. She decided to give them space by staying on the sides.

 

Rhixan stopped crying and some people came to take her father away. People had started to leave the party, leaving Rhixan, Raffello and Rhixan's mother alone. Rhixan took out the rose again. The name Kaito when through her head. I wonder who that is?

 

Neoph ceased his attacks on the tree so he wouldn't kill it. he laughed and started walking to the castle, whisteling to himself as he walked. he reached the castle and walked inside. he noticed a girl crying and approached her. he hesitated for a moment. he was about 3 meters from her.

 

Rhixan wiped away her tears and saw a man's reflection on one of the lights. She turned to face him, wondering who he was. Was he this Kaito person?
Raffello looked up at the man too.

 

Kaito stood on the balcony, and he walked back inside thinking of when and if that girl....what was her name..... Rhixan...... would understand.... the rose has never lied before... maybe this one is different he opened the door and looked at the commotion on the dance floor, the 2 men and a women, and then Rhixan...

 

The lights around Rhixan started to flash again. Rhixan blinked and looked at the lights. Is he Kaito? The lights didn't react. Just kept on flashing and pulsing around her.

 

OOC: im going to control the king for later

BIC: He watched as the young girl was cluelessly unaware of his true identity. he walked to the end of the stairs "attention, i am sure you are all aware of the tragedy that has become of this party... it is nothing to fret over" he gave a slight smirk. "tonight might be our last night before our lives are ended by the war, why not live for the moment... for it may be our last" he finished announcing. he instructed the orchestra to resume playing. slowly and uneasily the party started to become more alive... not with dancing... but with worry and fear of death

 

Neoph reached the girl. he noticed the body. he closed his eyes for a moment. he opened them. "are you alright?" he asked, trying to sound serious. he couldn't help but show sympathy in his voice. he looked around as he waited for the girl's response. maybe Rei is here?

 

OOC: Okay. I suck at RPin Kings....

Rhixan stood back up. She looked at the man who made the anncoucement and the lights flashed and pulshed faster. Thats Kaito. But... what is he, to me? She looked up at Raffello. Was he a candidate for my hand in marriage? I don't know.... Rhixan sighed, frazzeled about everything.
Raffello saw Rhixan staring up at her and smiled. "Don't worry. I bet your Father will be in Heaven, dancing and having a good time."
Rhixan blinked. Somehow, he knew what to say at the right moment.

Rhixan looked over at the man. "I-I'm fine. Just upset over my Father's death..."

 

Kaito walked towards the more distinct guests, "good evening to you all, i am sorry about the coincidence earlier" he said with a sincere face, even though his eyes couldnt be seen from his mask and his hat cast a shadow over most of his face "i am terribly sorry to hear of your loss madam" he said to Rhixan

 

Rhixan nodded at Kaito. "Thank you.... Kaito...." She added on at the end. If he reacted, she was right about him.

 

"i understand. my mother and father both died when i was really young." Neoph sighed sadly as he wiped a tear off his cheek. "not to worry though... if you want... i'll find whoever did this..." Neoph said as his expression changed from emotionless, to pity.

 

Rhixan shook her head. "I'd rather not trouble you with this. You have other matter to tend to, i'm sure."
