Chain of Memories The Robe...

I just saw a cutscene on youtube.... Diz gave it to him! It was to help
him Xehanort's heartless on Re: chain of memories!

 

Yes, Mickey is way too short...but I think here we were supposed to well...not use too much logic and all and just go with the story that Mickey was wandering around in a black cloak and no one would say 'it's a guy in a black cloak that's 3 feet tall with big ears.'

Also, in the end of CoM: Reverse Rebirth, Riku is given the cloak by Ansem/DiZ and Mickey is there too. Riku then leaves the castle with the cloak on, as does King Mickey, and they both depart. He definitely did not steal the cloak from Roxas and Riku didn't take the cloak from a fallen Org member. Considering all of the Org members when defeated disperse into Darkness and are gone, including cloaks, that would be difficult for someone do.

 

Hmm, that's an interesting question.
I think that yes, DiZ gave it to him, but the purpose is far more interesting. That scene where he jumps off the building at Roxas? Roxas threw him the keyblade because he looked like an ally (lets face it, running up a building away from a swarm of Heartless, you wouldn't look too hard) and this was important in the Roxas/Riku fight (unfortunately, Soul Eater was in his other pair of pants.) That fight was important... and so on.

 

Roxas always looked like a moron throwing his enemy a weapon....

 

I think the people that wore the coats chose to wear them in order to look like Organization members. If you were wearing one of the their coat/robe type deals, then you were probably less likely to be bothered by Nobodies or other people that might want to do you harm. It seems to me that it would be a safety measure.

 

see they have this laundry and DiZ kinda stole it from there - thats why Saix is so angry all the time XD

That's probably true. Do you think that's where King Mickey got his coat as well?

 

My question is why's King Mickey wearing it? I mean, it hides Riku well, but it looks obvious on Mickey. Does it mask their presence or something?

 

Yeah, I don't know anybody else with Mickey Mouse ears...xD

I'd think that maybe he just did it to blend in or something, though I don't know how it would help.
