Chain of Memories The Robe...

Where do u think Riku got his organization 13 robe. For all we know, it can't b from any of the org. mems in the castle cuz they faded away WITH it...

any thoughts?

 

I think he got the robe from DiZ.

And knowing DiZ, you have no clue where he got it from.

Maybe he data-ed it up for Riku; iunno how, but I'm pretty sure DiZ gave it to him.

 

At the end of RR CoM, King Mickey and DiZ showed up and King Mickey had the robe for Riku. Mickey was also wearing one. As for where they came from, I would imagine since all of the Nobodies do not just appear with an Org cloak, that some were put away to give to new recruits or they were made by DiZ perhaps. Maybe Vexen had a machine for them...it is a good question. I'm pretty sure they didn't get them from -dead- Nobodies because as you said, they disappear when destroyed, so my guess would be they were stored somewhere probably in Marluxia's level since he was the 'leader' so that he could give them to people.

Actually, your idea of DiZ digitizing it could be equally true in the end. Who does know if DiZ just left the castle or what, or if some machine was in the castle to do such. =:)

Iunno.... my KH knowlege is kaput right now because i've only played the 2nd and seen a couple scenes from COM, FM, KHIIFM, and KH.

So i'm not exactly the best person to respond to these types of threads. But of course i do anyway ;D

 

I was thinking bout the same thing...Cept' I'm pretty sure with Vexen's skills, I don think he would use a lotta time making clothes...

I think clothes are covered in the bonuses for being a denizen of the light or dark. (or Nothing)

You know, they just appear when summoned. I doubt DiZ bothered getting it from Marly. I can however imagine him holding out a hand and a robe materialising.

Besides, Would Marly realy have it in Mickey's size?

 

I believe the robes are magical and resize to fit the person. Considering that King Mickey had one...and also Riku had one, grew a good 4 to 6 inches over the year and also changed into a form that was another few inches over that...I'd say that the robe matches the wearer and fits automatically or there'd be some problems in that scene where he changes form and yet the robe still is fine on him.

DiZ seems to have the powers of darkness himself. i.e. Summon corridors of darkness as seen at the end of the new scene between Roxas and Riku. So, it wouldn't be farfetched that he just created the cloak using his own powers. Besides, I thought it was him and not the King who gave Riku the cloak.

 

Hmm, maybe he made it but I just think to myself of this closet of Org cloaks being raided somewhere in the castle! I don't know why and can't prove it but DiZ and Mickey digging around for stuff seemed cool as an idea and they did want to track the org so I always assumed they were authentic actual Org cloaks.

 

Maybe they'll give us some background info. in KH 358/2 -_-

As for the making thing, I doubt they could make something that authentic in such a fast amount of time. *picturing Mickey and Riku sewing on two organization robes* since when do heros get demoted to clothsmen...

 

Though , the robes may symbolize the realm of Darkness / or middle realm , whichever .


Riku was part of dark realm for sometime , so he required the robes .

 

U think so? Cuz if it's like that, I c no reason y Mickey would wear one...

 

Riku and Mickey took the robes to be incognito to study the Organization and their activities and to confuse them. Riku could surely have used Darkness and wore his regular clothes had he wanted to but he would have immediately been recognized by the Org if he had. Riku had wore his regular clothes in Darkness even at the beginning of CoM so they obviously weren't destroyed, much to the dismay of fan girls everywhere. This is why King Mickey was trying to keep himself a secret as to what he was doing when he met up with Sora. They were both using the robes to spy on the Org.

 

Maybe in the castle there was a computer with Internet connection and he got from eBay! XD Just kidding, maybe the king or DiZ got from a organization closet!

 

That would make a lotta sense. Added with the fact that Mickey didn't want to break his promise with Riku...

Though for Mickey, I don c how he would fit in too much. I mean, he's WAYY too short compared to all the other mems so he'd stand out anyways...weird.

 

I think he stole it from Roxas cuz Roxas dosn't have it in twilight town but Riku dose

 

But he was wearing 1 when he fought him in TWTNW...
