Rhianna sighed in relief and headed over to Xane, "oi, you alright?"

 

Xane closed the locket and put it in his shirt to hide it, "I'm.....fine," though he thought to himself I can't believe she's grown so fast

 

"alright" Rhianna grinned, "so what now...?"

 

"Don't know, guess...we keep on...fending them off" Xane suggested

 

Nova walked over to them. May I ask who you both are?

 

"hm...." Rhianna turned to Nova, "oh, i'm Rhianna, Rhi for short. that's Xane. you?"

 

Xane waited, twirling his blade

 

I'm Nova. Who you were fighting was Varr's army.

 

"Varr" Xane repeated to himself

 

"hm, really? interesting..." Rhianna muttered, "so what's the gameplan?"

 

For now, we need a plan.

 

"that's what i....oh never mind. alright so how big's the army and any known weaknesses? connections? spies?"

 

Xane just remained quiet

 

Balmung watched them, waiting for them to make a move.

 

Varr went next to him. Steady solider. They might contain useful information.

Rhianna started pacing, thinking. Suddenly she stopped and looked at Xane for a moment, like she was trying to remember something. But she quickly shook her head and kept pacing, "well maybe if we can capture one of their ranks....how about that?"
