He scanned quickly. Impressive. He's very skilled. Possibly a desendent of Varr.

 

"right...well he's not impressing me right now..."

 

A knife came from the opposite side of the clearing right at Rhianna. " That's for calling me that." Since it came from the opposite direction, though, the knife would also set them on the wrong course.

 

Rhinna quickly jumped back and scowled. She turned to the wrong direction. "So that's where you are....just wait till i get my hands on you!" She started trying to swing at the air, trying to find him.

 

Fooled like the little puppies they are. I'll play nice with both of you. At least until you're dogs. Another knife came from the left.

 

Rhianna quickly dodged it, she was starting to get a little frustrated. She took out her sword. "show yourself!"

 

Knives came from five different directions. Keep playing this one-sided little game we have, girl. He was intending to take out Rhianna first, due to the powers he expected she had now.

 

Rhianna's eyes started to become red again. With a quick swing of her sword she managed to block most of them, dodge one, but the last one grazed her arm. She flinched but picked up one of the knives, throwning it relatively close to where Balmung was, but not close enough as to say that she knew where he was.

 

She's finding the pattern. Maybe she's not just a little puppy..... Ten more knives came at her.

 

Rhianna blocked them and even grabbed a few of them, cutting her hand as she grabbed one clumsily. Her eyes were fully red now and she threw the knives to either side of Balmung. "come out, come out. wherever you are..."

 

Crap. I got myself being chased by a bulldog.... Around forty knives came from one spot. Those were the last of them.

 

Rhianna dodged them as best as she could and jumped back to avoid the last ones. She smirked and threw her sword in the direction where they had come from while gathering up a few knives. Stil smirking she threw around six of them at balmung.

 

He jumped out of the way, recovering fast and taking out one of his swords.

 

"scared yet?!" Rhianna stretched out her arm and her sword came flying back to her. She seemed confident, but a little tired too.

"Nope. I only get scared when I'm dead." he replied honestly.

 

"tch, why? all living things must die. How many times you die though's up to you"

 

"You die once. And once you die, be scared because there will be nothing else happy for you to look forward to."

 

"Haven't you heard? Cowards die many times before their time. Brave men die only once. Heh, we'll see about that!" Rhianna raised her sword.
