Well this is my first public story so please comment, so I can fix any mistakes. NB. Kairi didn't bring the bottled note from King Mickey to Riku or Sora. Prologue Sora looked up into Kairi’s eyes and stammered,” W-We’re back”. She looked back down at him and said, “You’re home.” 2 weeks later Kairi walked down the ocean shore, heading home after coming back in from the island. She looked out to the waves and noticed a bottle floating in the water. Noticing an insignia on it, she hastily went closer before the tide swept it up and grabbed it. ~*~*~ She ran to Riku’s home as she reflected on what she had just read. She had to tell Riku immediately. ‘Why does he have to live on the other side of town?’ she thought to herself. About 20 minutes later sprinting across town she reached Riku’s house. She knocked on the door and waited impatiently for him to answer. He, after a whole two minutes, ‘Finally’ Kairi thought, answered the door, listening to his ipod video. “Hey Kairi, what’s up?” Riku asked. She forced the bottle into his hand, and breathed a heavy, “Read this.” ~*~*~ “What do you think?” Kairi asked. Riku had just finished reading and re-reading the note and had a frustrated look on his face. “I can’t believe it… I thought…” he said wearily. Kairi responded with “We all thought Riku… but we were wrong…. But shouldn’t Sora…” “No!” he replied so sharply that she jumped a little, “Sorry, it’s just that…” She looked into his eyes and said “I know…” “So should we do this?” Kairi asked. “Shouldn’t we? If we don’t hundreds could die.” Riku replied. “But without Sora?” Kairi asked. The look on his face told him all she needed to know. Chapter 1 2 days later Sora woke up as enthusiastic as ever, to go the Islands and relax. He hadn’t been out of the house all day, yesterday seeing as his mom set him an endless amount of chores. “I wonder what Kairi and Riku are doing” he wondered aloud as he walked to the boats, “maybe I’ll show them that new trick I’ve been practicing.” He quickly reached the Islands and began his search, for his two best friends. Unfortunately for him, all he met were Tidus and Wakka playing Blitzball, and Selphie tanning in the sun. He approached Selphie to ask if she had seen either them. “Riku or Kairi?” Selphie asked, “Nope haven’t seen either all day, weird… yesterday they were all over this place. And they looked like they were hiding from something.” “Hiding? From what?” Sora replied. “Who knows… now can you please move? You’re blocking my sun.” Sora walked away, in deep thought, when he suddenly thought he heard something move. He turned around to see flashes of auburn and white hair go around the corner. He chased after it, but when he looked, there was no sign of anyone. “Where’d they…?” ~*~*~ “That was close, he almost saw you,” Riku said breathlessly. “Well I’m so sorry that I’m not as fast a runner as you.” Kairi snapped back, “So what now?” After a minute or two of thought, he replied, “Well we can’t hide here in the Islands anymore, it’s too easy to be found out.” ~*~*~ Sora went back to the bent Papou tree and went into deep thought. His mind kept barraging him with questions that he desperately wanted answers to. ‘Was it my imagination or did I really see them? And if it was them why were they running away from me…? Selphie said they were sneaking around and trying to hide. What’re they trying to hide? It’s not my birthday… is it? Wait that’s September. What could it be?’ With all of these questions, there was one thing that kept bothering him. The answer that kept coming to back to mind and actually made sense. ‘Are Riku and Kairi dating?’ 3 days later Every now and then Sora would go out to the Islands and just think, but lately he just wasn’t feeling like it. The fear that his best friends might actually like each other kept coming to mind, especially since he saw them walking together near the beach walking ‘way too close together’. “What should I do? I don’t even know why it’s such a big deal… am I afraid that they’ll become so close that they’ll forget me… or something else?” He looked out the window to the beach and saw a white and a red haired figure. Taking the chance to find out what was up, he quickly sprinted down by the beach. ~*~*~ Kairi walked with Riku near the shoreline, talking, yet again if they should tell Sora. “For the last time, no!” Riku answered her pointless question. “But what if we…?” Kairi began, but the look from Riku silenced her in an instant. Suddenly they heard a slight rustle in the bushes behind them but saw no-one, so they re-focused on each other. “I just feel terrible, how could we do this to him when he’s tried so hard to find us? And I don’t think I can just leave without saying good-bye! He’s our best friend!” Tears began streaming down her eyes, and Riku hugged her and tried to comfort her. She gasped out ”I just can’t believe that we’re leaving, the day after tomorrow ” There was another rustle in the bushes, but they ignored it. Riku, after a few moments of silence replied ”Don’t worry, it’ll be alright.” He then grabbed her full on the lips and she immediately seemed to calm down. There was a huge rustle in the bushes then and Riku and Kairi parted and looked around. ~*~*~ Sora sat on his bed, in the worst shape he’d ever been in, his worst fears had come true, and all he wanted to do was sleep. ~*~*~ In reality, Riku’s kiss was a harmless peck on the cheek, which was warped in Sora’s eyes by the setting sun. “I definitely heard something, that time” Riku asked. “Probably just the wind” Kairi replied, “… can I see the letter again? There’s got to be some loophole.” Riku handed her the letter and she reads over the lines which in less than 2 minutes broken her heart. Dear Riku and Kairi, I’m sorry to say, but this letter contains some bad news. It seems that the organization that we fought was a complete illusion, including the ones from Castle Oblivion, excluding Axel and Roxas. It also seems that have found a much easier way of opening Kingdom Hearts, through a Keyblade Wielder of light. This means that Sora, CANNOT be involved in anyway possible. Kairi, we know that you aren’t affected because when your heart was released, it didn’t open Kingdom Hearts, and since myself and Riku are dark wielders we aren’t affected either. DO NOT TELL SORA! He cannot be involved, as he may lose his heart, and hundreds of people may die. I’m sorry to call you back like this, especially since you’ve all just been re-united. A gummi ship will arrive in a week to take you to Radiant Gardens. PS. I’ve found another keyblade wielder on my way back to my castle, I’ll in introduce you at the checkpoint. ~Mickey~ “Nothing! It’s just not fair.” Kairi yelled. “I know…. But there isn’t anything else we can do” Riku said sadly, “c’mon it’s getting dark, we’ve gotta get home.” And with that, they walked solemnly home. Please R & R
It's short, and you are exploring an interesting plot, which I do enjoy. The one problem that I have with it is the number of breaks in 'time'. Try and condense the scenes down so that they flow smoother in the coming chapters, also try to double space quotes. It makes it easier to read and makes the pacing and flow seem less blocky and rushed.
This I looked forward to read more, but Destined his right, I did find that, but it's a good prolouge and chapter!:) This inspired me quickly, so keep up the good work:)
NB. Sorry for not updating sooner, I was grounded, -.-, Enjoy! ;) btw. Thanks to Destiny and Mexony, for the advice. Chapter 2 Sora stared out to the open sea, on the large tower where he and Riku used to zipline, on the islands. He was still very hurt and couldn't believe that his two best friends had betrayed him. 'The fact that they're dating is hard enough..., but leaving?' He kept asking himself. And the most unbearable one kept coming back to him, damaging his brain; 'How could they leave me... alone?' Just then he saw Kairi over by the starting point, of where he and Riku used to start their races when they were younger. As he silently debated on whether he should approach her or not, he couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked, with the sun in her flaming red hair, and how her face seemed to shine. After a few moments he realised that her face was shining due to the amount of tears streaming down her face, and he immediately rushed down to comfort her. “Kairi, are you ok?” Sora asked her gently from behind. She was startled in hearing Sora's voice, and quickly turned around. “Oh hey, Sora, why do yo...” Realising that her face was soaked with tears she quickly wiped it and faked a huge smile. “I'm fine, perfectly fine! Umm... Sora, I've got to go to the.. um.. the thing! Yeah the thing! Err.. I mean I'm meeting Selphie, to... uhh..., study! Yeah that works. So got to go! Bye!!” Before she could leave Sora grabbed her hand, and pulled her back to him. “Kairi, please wait... Why are you and Riku leaving?” he asked “How did you...?!” was all Kairi could blurt out. “Kairi please... is it... something I did? I searched the whole universe for you two, and now.... are you leaving because of me?” Kairi at the very verge of tears, and noticing that Sora had slackened the grip on her hand pulled as hard as she could and ran. Sora, just stood standing there, watching her, left feeling that his worst nightmare was true. As soon as she saw that Sora wasn't following her, she broke down crying, for everything that had happened since she picked up that damned letter. The next day Riku and Kairi woke up early in the morning, and headed down to the island. Kairi hadn't told Riku a word about what had happened the previous day, and doubted that she ever would. They arrived at the islands, and they headed for the southern section of it. They immediately saw a purple gummi ship and entered. The ship apparently knew the way as it blasted off as soon as Riku and Kairi, sat down. ~*~*~ The last thing Sora saw and heard of his friends was a purple strak and the sonic boom that he knew so well. End chapter Once again, sorry for taking so long to update. Just want you guys to know a few things about this fic. -No Goofy or Donald... at all. sorry but I hate them..., well just Donald, but it'd be creul to just put in Goofy. -there will be a nobody per world, which means that not all worlds will be involved. -Namine and Roxas will be involved. Not sure how Namine will, but I'll work something out. -Kairi WILL NOT have that absolutely sucky keyblade. I hate it so much. -I hate this story for the way I have to treat Sora and Kairi.... It makes me feel like Larxene. -.- -I'll update ASAP
I really like the idea of it, but the main thing I can stress to you is that you seem to be rushing. You've got some okay descriptions at points, but it seems like you're rushing through lots of important stuff. Take time to really get through the moment, even if it means taking several paragraphs to describe it. Your first chapter had me wanting to know what Kairi and Riku were talking about by "Not telling Sora." That was really good suspense that you put in. You're exploring the idea of a story where Sora isn't the hero, which is pretty cool, and it seems like it's got a lot of potential. Just stop worrying about getting done and describe everything fully. You never want a reader to be unsure of what is going on. As always, double check grammar & spelling, though I understand if it is written in a rush and you plan on doing it later or something, it happens to the best of us. Can't wait to read more :]
This chapter was alittle more better. The way you described Kairi from standing alone with tears, I really liked that part alot. Keep up the good work:)
You really MUST keep posting chapters, it´s really good specially the plot...keep up the good work!!!
NB. Thanks for the comments guys! I didn't expect to finish this chapter so soon, but... And Orange, yeah thanks for the advice, I was actually gonna put something in there, but it would definitely fall under 'rushing it', so it'll be in a much later chapter. Enjoy! Chapter 3 Sora was still in complete disbelief. How could his two friends, his very best friends leave just like that? Even if Kairi, hadn't wanted to after the previous days encounter, what about Riku? What was his excuse? “They left. They left...., and it's all my fault.†Sora said to himself yet again. He was in his room and, nightfall had swept the land under its inky darkness. Since he had seen the gummi ship launch, he had, somehow, made it back to his room and hadn't moved all day. Suddenly he heard a voice, from near the back of his head. 'You ok?' The sandy color haired teen asked his other. “What do you think Roxas?†Sora snapped back. 'Sorry, it's just that, you know, we're in the same boat,' Roxas replied. “What are you..? Oh right, Namine. Sorry.†Sora said apologetically. 'It's ok. They'll come back.' Roxas said, more to himself than Sora. “Why do you say that?†Sora asked questioningly, “Did Namine say something?†'She didn't actually, I just know.' Roxas replied. “I wish I was as positive as you.†Sora said dryly. Neither of them said anything for awhile. Eventually Roxas broke the silence. 'C'mon Sora, this is depressing... Got any ideas on what we could do tomorrow?' Roxas asked wearily. “... Actually...†Sora began with a grin on his face. ~ By the time the gummi ship had landed, it was quickly turning to nightfall. Confused as to where they were, Kairi looked out of the cockpits window to see if she recognized the world. “Where are we? I feel like I've been here but I don't remember.†Kairi said uncertainly. “You're right,†Riku said after looking out the window himself, “That castle over there, it's the same one where I fell to darkness. This is Hollow Bastion.†Riku spat out. Ever since he had returned to Destiny Islands, he hated bringing up the fact of how he fell into the darkness. “I don't mean the castle, I was talking about the town... I know it, but from where?†asked a confused Kairi. Riku just shrugged his shoulders, as Kairi gave a small sigh. Then she looked at him questioningly. “So what are we doing here? And should we stay in here or explore?†Kairi asked. “I don't know,†Riku responded, “but the King wants us here for something.†Suddenly, a small compartment, near the controls, opened up. Riku moved forward uneasily and noticed, a folded sheet of paper. Riku grabbed it, and opened it up. “What is it?†Kairi asked. “A... map, I think,†Riku answered, “C'mon, follow me.†They exited the gummi ship, and began walking in a North Eastern direction. They soon arrived at their destination, which was a rather small house. “This is it, at least that's what the map reads.†Riku announced. Kairi wearily opened the door, to find a man and a mouse in deep conversation. The mouse looked up and cracked a large smile. “Ah, Riku and Kairi, good to see you again, I just wish it were under better circumstances,†the mouse, otherwise known as King Mickey, said. “It's good to see you too, your Majesty,†Riku replied. Kairi said nothing. It wasn't because of the how upset she was at the King for taking her away from So... Destiny Islands, but rather because she was staring at the man, or rather teenager, with whom the King was conversing. She noticed, how ashamed he looked, and how he was unwilling to look her in the eyes. “I've told you already Riku, you can call me Mickey!†the mouse stressed. “Sorry your Ma... Mickey,†Riku said uncertainly. Mickey then turned his attention to Kairi. “I'm sorry to have to ask you guys to do this again, but...,†the King started. “We understand,†Kairi said, though truth be told, she didn't. “Well as I said in my letter, the organization you fought before where mere illusions. Also it seems that they knew about everything that was going to happen, even from before Xehanort's heartless was destroyed,“ Mickey explained. “But how...?†Kairi started. “...It seems that there is a member that can see the future,†Mickey continued, “Most likely Xemnas or #6... Zexion I think.†To this they said nothing, as they were in too deep a shock, to speak. Finally Kairi spoke. “But why would they do that?†she asked. “Two reasons; They wanted to test us, learn out powers, our strengths and weaknesses. They also knew, that Roxas and Axel would betray them so they...†Mickey continued. “...'tried to weed the garden',†Riku finished, as he thumped his hand on the table nearby. He knew that the organization was horrible..., but to try to eliminate their own members... Then there was a complete moment of silence, until Kairi broke it that is. “Wait a minute..., you said that you had found another Keyblade wielder, in your letter, is he...?†Kairi asked, pointing at the teenager. “Yes it is, I found him when we were returning home from your Islands. He's also a dark wielder so he could help,†Mickey responded. The teen aged boy, around Riku's age, realizing he couldn't hide anymore, got up and walked over to the group, trying to look more at Riku and Mickey, than Kairi. “Allow me to introduce myself...†the man started, “The name is Raizen Lae, got it memorized?†End Chapter Wow took me quite while to do this chapter, but it was worth it. I think it's worth it though. I unfortunately won't get a chance to even start again, until next week, blame my dad and school.
sorry guys, but I won't be able to post up the chapter this weekend like I promised. My computer crashed and I'm waiting for my uncle to fix it. Maybe I'll post it during the week if he comes today like he promised. Sorry again.
New Chapter, Read all about it! Finally, it feels good to be on a computer again. Sorry for the lack of updates. Enjoy! Chapter 4 “You look familiar; do I know you from somewhere?†Kairi asked the stranger. As she was now much closer to him, she could now take in his details. He was tall and slender, and had straight, red hair with a few spikes at the front and sides. He also had sea green eyes, and was wearing brown cargo pants and a red and black tee shirt. The left sleeve of the shirt was longer than the other reaching his wrist, while his other sleeve barely reached his elbow. “… You could say that,†he replied after a moment of silence, “Do you know a man named Axel?†At that, the name ‘Axel’, Kairi’s eyes narrowed. “Do you mean, that creep, who took me hostage and locked me in that dungeon, in The World That Never Was?†she spat. “Unfortunately, I do.†After an awkward silence, Raizen mumbled something. “What was that?†Riku asked. “He’s my nobody…,†Raizen said hastily. Riku and Kairi, looked at him, their mouths open-mouthed. After a moment, Kairi, rushed up, and pinned him against a wall. Angrily she asked, “Why did you kidnap me?!†Raizen, didn’t struggle at all, but looked away guiltily. “Put him down Kairi,†Riku said cautiously. The last time he had seen her this angry, was when Tidus cut off her hair a year ago. It had taken a whole squad of fire fighters, to get her to stop pounding Tidus to a pulp. She hesitantly released him, and walked away, not lowering her eyes from him for a second. “I can see why you’re upset, and I wanna say, I’m sorry,†Raizen said, still not looking at her. “Why’d you do it?!†She shouted. Without skipping a beat, Raizen answered, “Axel wanted to see Roxas… they were best friends, almost like brothers, he kidnapped you because Roxas had merged with Sora, so if he could get Sora to come…†“…Then Roxas would follow,†Riku finished. There was another awkward silence. Eventually Riku broke it. “How can you wield the keyblade? Axel couldn’t,†he asked and continued saying, “And how did you become whole?†“I can wield the keyblade because, my heart wasn’t strong enough, before I became separated, but when Axel gave his life, a keyblade chose me.†Raizen explained, “I don’t know how I became whole though…†“I can explain that,†Mickey started, “You see… A person becomes a heartless and a nobody when a person loses their heart. However, if a person’s heartless, THEN their nobody are destroyed they MAY, become whole.†“… that’s really interesting.†Riku said, after a moment. “Now, back to business, the organization has spread out, as in one to each world, and has been stirring up trouble, probably to bring Sora out of hiding. You will have to go to four different worlds and defeat the member there, myself and some others will take care of the rest. The worlds you’ve been assigned to are; the Olympus Coliseum, Halloween Town, Agrabah, and the Deep Forest.†At the name of the last two words, Mickey aid, Riku’s knees began to shake. “The Deep Forest?! But isn’t that where…*gulp* the Beast lives?†Rik said shakily, “Do we have to go there?†He just couldn’t bare to got there, after what he had done to the Beast at Hollow Bastion. He’d be shredded to bits! “Yes, Riku you do,†Mickey answered. “But…!†Riku pleaded. “Get over it Riku. Whatever problem you and the Beast have can’t be that bad,†Kairi said. Seeing Riku like this, had brought her back to her normal self, but she was still wary of Raizen. “Well, that’s about it, I’ll show you to the hotel you’ll be staying in,†Mickey said. ~ The Next Morning ‘So what’ve you got planned?’ Roxas asked. “Well…†Sora started, “When we were searching for Kairi and Riku, Donald, Goofy and I, got separated, in a place called the Deep Jungle. When we got back together, the guys made a gummi ship for me, just in case.†‘Yeah, so?’ Roxas questioned. Sora looked a little disappointed, as he thought ‘Am I that dim?’. He pulled out a small remote and pushed its big red button. Roxas’ face lit up as a medium sized gummi ship, rushed towards them. ‘This should be fun’ Roxas said, as they boarded the ship. In two hours, they were half-way to the Olympus Coliseum. End Chapter Again, sorry for being so late. Anyways, I MIGHT be able to post up another chapter. I’m working on ma dad’s comp. right now(he has NO idea), but he’s bringing back mine later today. Read and Review!
Ok, sorry I couldn't update sooner but, I was busy. But seriously guys..., wow, you can like, post or something...... Anyways Enjoy Chapter 5 Riku reluctantly left his hotel room and met up with Kairi nearby the shops. They took an hour to prepare themselves with items, and to get breakfast. They then met up with the King and Raizen, nearby the same gummi ship, they had used to reach the world. “Welp, I guess this is goodbye, for now, have a safe journey. And remember, watch for danger,†Mickey warned. “We will,†Riku responded, while the others boarded the ship. A few minutes later, they were far away from the King and Radiant Gardens. Riku looked over the control panel and, noticed that the co-ordinates had already been punched in. “Well..., it looks like we're heading to somewhere called 'The Olympus Coliseum, and it shouldn't take more than an hour and a half.'†Riku informed his partners. He then sank into the captain's seat and went to sleep. Unknown to the boys, a war was raging in Kairi's head as she stared hatefully at Raizen. 'He kidnapped you, and locked you in that damn dungeon!' a voice in her head raged. 'That wasn't him,' another gently replied, 'that was his nobody, they're two different beings.' But the voice raged on, 'So? His nobody's apart of him. If he had the choice, he'd probably do the exact same thing!' The other voice said nothing, but a third voice replied to it. 'Axel's not so bad, he helped to save me in Castle Oblivion, even if Sora didn't know' 'Yeah, he did but...' the angry voice said, failing to counter. 'He had a tough life, as a nobody and a human,' Namine explained. “What're you talking about?†Kairi asked, as her anger began to fizzle. 'Roxas told me, before I went to the castle' Namine began, 'He never had a family, and on his world, red hair and blue or green eyes were demonic, so he made no friends and was attacked weekly by the inhabitants of his world. When the heartless attacked, he was being beat up, and was too weak to escape them, and so he lost his heart.' 'When he first entered the organization,' she continued, 'The founding six ignored him, and Saix.... well..., you know what I mean. When Roxas entered, they were almost always put together on the same missions, and they found that they had common interests. They became like brothers, kind of like Riku and Sora. I can't explain it any better than that, but you can understand what I mean.' '... but then Roxas became apart of Sora again and, Axel felt as if his friend had left him, and you know the story from there,' Namine concluded. Kairi began to calm down, thinking Namine's words through. She hadn't stopped hating Raizen, it would take a while before she trusted him, but she could give him a chance. In a while, the gummi ship landed at its destination. ~ Sora eagerly escaped from the cramped confinements of the gummi ship and stretched his back. “Man, I forgot travel was so boring,†he whined. 'Yeah yeah, stop complaining,' Roxas replied. He was walking besides Sora as a ghostly looking image. 'So what, first?' “Well,Herc's probably got his hands full rebuilding the Coliseum, and last time I spoke to Auron, he said he was gonna go looking for someone in another world..., so..., what about a tournament?†Sora answered. 'Tournament?' Roxas asked, blankly. “Y'know, I told you about them back at home, a bunch of fights against enemies, and if you win, you get a trophy?†Sora answered. 'Oh yeah that... sure, why not?' Roxas said, excitedly, 'It should be fun.' “Yeah, let's try the Hades Tournament, that's the best one. Hades' Chamber is over there,†Sora said, pointing at a large blue door. “Let's go!†As Sora walked through the doors and began to close it, he failed to notice the landing blue and purple gummi ship. As soon as the engines turned off, Riku, Kairi and Raizen poured out. “Well, we're here.... now what?†Riku asked the others. “No clue, have any ideas, Raizen?†Kairi asked, with a somewhat shaky voice. Raizen raised an eyebrow at Kairi. She had so far either ignored him, or been pissed at him, 'Not that I blame her' he said to himself, and now suddenly she was asking his opinion? “Errr...,†he said began lamely. Suddenly he felt it. They all did, the air had become more dense, and much colder, to the point where they could see their breath, which was very weird, as it was boiling hot a few seconds ago. “Is it just me, or is it freezing in here?†Raizen asked. “Yeah, I just noticed it too... dang... and it feels colder the closer we are to that door,†he said, approaching ht large green doors on the other side of the room. “So, what do you guys think?†Raizen asked. “Yeah, it's probably an organization member. Let's go.†he said as he started for the doors. “Oh wait!†Raizen said, as he slapped his head with his hand. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a keychain. It had a purple sun and an orange sun on it. “The King, gave it to me, sorry, I just remembered,†he said, pressing it into Kairi's hand. “Just attach it to your keyblade.†Kairi summoned the keyblade that Riku had given her at The World That Never Was. She took off the old keychain and slipped on the new one. The results were simultaneous, the handles became orange cresent moons, with starry gems on the new red handle. The key's neck looked like blue clouds, but were very sturdy, and the 'teeth' was a half purple sun. On the neck, it had the word 'Eclipse' engraved on it. She flashed Raizen a quick smile and said “Thanks, but why did the King want me to have it?†“I don't really know, he said it'd help, but I don't know anything else.†Raizen replied. “Hey, you guys, coming or not?†Riku yelled, opening the doors. ~ “He is so infuriating!†Hades yelled, “Every freaking day, he somehow destroys everything I throw at him, and...,†Hades turned to see Sora at the door, “What do you want?†“What else would I want, with you? I want to enter in a tournament,†Sora replied, coldly. “What? Couldn't come down, just to say 'hi'? I thought we were pals, amigos, budd...†Hades started, with a large fake smile, plastered on his face. “As if...,†Sora said, cutting, Hades short, “Just sign us up for the Hades Tournament.†“'Us'? I don't see the goose, or the goof, anywhere.†Hades replied, coolly. “I'm with him,†a very solid Roxas said, coming through the doors. Sora made a mental note, to thank the fairies for the suit, the next time he saw them. “So, we in?†Roxas asked. ~ The group continued to walk on, but with no sign of heartless or nobodies, they were becoming restless, especially when they came to a large circular room, covered in ice. “This is it, I just know it...,†Kairi muttered, under her breath. As Kairi had thought, a group of nobodies appeared, at least fifteen of them. All of them were a type of nobody, that none of them had ever seen. As the group called forth their keyblades. Kairi noticed, that Raizen's keyblade was the exact same one Sora weilded, The Bond of Flame keyblade. Raizen looked in the new nobodies in amazement. They looked like large crystal owls, with long icy beaks, and where a normal owls wings were, were large blue shields. He also noticed that they approached, instead of, walking or flying, by floating. Their nobody insignia, was on their heads. “What are these things?†Riku yelled, as he barely dodged a sharp beak. “How the heck, would we know?†Kairi yelled, as she parried one of them, smashing it's beak. Seeing its weapon destroyed, it retreated. 'That's it!' Kairi thought. The she yelled, “Guys, aim for the side of their beaks,†as she smashed down another. Riku grinned, as he smashed down three, rather quickly. Raizen, on the other hand, was swarmed, by five of them, after destroying only one. “Darn it...†he said, as he moved to the wall behind him, “Get back!†he yelled, as he released a rather large fireball from his hand, melting the five surrounding him. “Woah,†he said looking at his hand, “How'd I do that?†As Kairi, smashed down the last nobody, the boys approached her. “So, what now?†Kairi asked. Suddenly the room got much colder, and an ice figure, formed from the other side of the room. “Ahh! The prince of darkness, princess of light, and the fool, so glad you could join me,†Vexen said, as the others scowled. ~ After almost an hour of fighting in the tournament, Sora and Roxas were heading back to the gummi ship, having lost in round 49. “Man, your friends hit hard,†Roxas implied, as he looked at the silver trophy, they had won. “Yeah, a little too hard, if you ask m..., is it just me, or is it freezing?†Sora asked. “No, it's not you.... weird, it was boiling a second ago,†Roxas answered. “Let's hurry to the ship, I'm getting frostbite,†Sora said, as he ran to the gummi ship, to warm off. As they boarded the gummi ship, they turned on the heat, sat down, and started up the engine, to head to... “Where do you wanna go now?†Sora asked. “I dunno...,†he said as he grabbed the map, “Eenie, meenie, miennie, mo! Here!†he yelled as he pointed at, “Habarga? What kind of a name is that?†Sora sighed, as he turned the map around.
