The Reaper's Game

Taka looked down and replied to Tracy's comment.
"But how could ANYONE die twice?"
Suddenly she was surrounded by the noise. She took out one of her pins.

She held it in front of her and suddenly the frog noise that had been coming after her passed right through her as if she was intangible.
"Heh, looks like you guys need to find me. Well come on then!"
She was actually having fun taking out her frustration on the noise. She pulled out another of her pins.

She put it on her sweater hoping it would help out, and it almost looked like the noise couldn't see her either. She saw a few of them disappear, and she figured Kumi was doing his fair share of the work.
Well, I can't let Kumi have ALL the fun then.
She took out one of her more familiar pins.

She used to love this pin. It was one of the few that she collected. She wondered what it did though. She extended her arm in something like a slashing motion, and a burst of flame came out of the pin to take out a few frogs.
"Whoa... what a crazy pin! It shoots flaming bullets!?"
She was loving this and decided to take out a few more of the noise this way.

 

Tracy rolled his eyes at Taka's comment. "You know what I meant." Mumbled Tracy as he pulled out one of his pins and begin to fight the Noise, "Getting into particulars like that." He continued to mutter under his breath as he fought the Noise.

 

Weiss stopped beside Tracy and slid his icy blue eyes to him, "You might want to help out...if you don't want to get erased. But...why listen to me? After all...we're only here to kill you all for good." he folded his arms and a cold smirk spread on his lips. "But...since when would you listen to directions, Tracy."

 

"Do I know you?" Snapped Tracy. The Noise was tough for day two, and Tracy was having a hard time with a couple of giant bears. He pulled out a pin and tried it out.

 

Weiss chuckled and stomped his foot, adding a few frog Noise into the fray, "If you want...you could end this...all of it. All you have to do is..." "SHUT UP YOU LOWLIFE SCUM! Just SHUT UP!" Senri barrelled through the Players and tackled Weiss, "Ah...so the pup comes out to play."

 

Hana-Kaida was startled at the sudden appearence of Senri. She wanted to yell at him for making her late, but the whole thing with Weiss seemed to be pretty intense, and she didn't want to get in their argument. Besides, Weiss was a freak. She didn't want to make him target her next. So she ignored them. Instead, she decided to try and cheer up Hitoshi. She elbowed Hitoshi in the ribs and said "You really made your friend play Mario? That's low, man. That's low." "Oh, shut up," Hitoshi said, smiling. He didn't really feel any better after her ribbing, but it was nice that she tried. It wasn't often for Hana-Kaida to display any signs of caring, so when she did, he always tried to make her think it worked.

 

Tracy had been ignoring Weiss until Senri jumped out and tackled him. "Hit him again." Tracy suggested. He didn't like Weiss much, other then the fact that they were supposed to be enemies, their was just something about him that made Tracy want to strangle him. So he automatically liked Senri better for attacking Weiss mid sentence, it stopped his constant chatter. He turned back to the Noise, but he kept the two reapers in his sight. This could get interesting.

 

Weiss smirked and took Tracy's words and repeated them, "Yes...why don't you hit me again." Senri seemed to pale, but his hands tightened on Weiss's shirt, "Players are erased by the turn of the games. They are not here for your enjoyment! Whether or not you fail is my decision." he glanced up at Valentine's frown and Weiss' fist connected with his jaw. "Ignore me again and I'll do more than hit you. I'll BREAK THAT JAW!" He swung again and Senri grabbed his fist, "Just try it." he said. Using the momentum Weiss had in his swing, Senri swung upwards and smashed the heel of his foot into Weiss' head.

 

Ishu glared at the two. She wouldn't stand for this. She clenched her fists and closed her eyes, suppressing the rage that would destroy her appearance. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes. Senri smashed his heel into Weiss, sending a few pieces of gravel in a circle. She swore. They needed to finish this elsewhere. "Both of you, stop it." She said, encompassing strength into her voice while not yelling. She let her finger carres her necklace absent-mindedly as she glared at the pair of Reapers.

Sho snickered. Zetta boring. He felt a light weight beginning in his pockets. Hmph. Time for arts and crafts. He strode swiftly in the direction of A-East.

 

Senri froze and brushed himself off, moving to his brother's side. "My apologies ma'am... Weiss needs to be reminded of his place." Picking himself off the ground, Weiss glared at him, mumbling something incoherent.

 

Well, glad thet's over. Hana-Kaida thought as Weiss and Senri stopped fighting. But I'll have to watch my step the next few days. They're bound to blow up on each other soon, and when that happens, I don't want to be around when that happens. She sighed. Work was practically over for the day. The players were all fighting the Noise, and there were enough Noise here that she didn't need to summon any more. She would just have to stand and watch the fun, cross her fingers and hope that at least one of the Players bit off more than they could chew.

OOC: Alright, so day two has gone on for about a week now, and we need to get things moving. Therefore, if the mission is not completed within the next twenty four hours after this reply is posted, all the Players will be erased. Sorry to have to do this, but we need to have the timer go off sometime.

 

Tracy decided to take out the giant gaurdian Noise by himself, since his partner was too busy teaming up against him with the other Players. So he pulled out one of his pin and began to slash at it. Then the pin seemed to stop working. He didn't know how he knew, but he could tell it needed to reload. So he pulled out a different pin (one that had flames on it) and began to attack his enemy with fire.

 

Only one hour until all the Players are erased. The timer's ticking, and ending the game on day two certainly won't get any of the Reapers upset.

 

Senri and Valentine chanted in unison, "Tick tock...tick tock...tick tock...

 

5... 4... 3... 2... 1... With a bright light, all the players dissapeared, erased.

Hana-Kaida smiled as the Players dissapeared. "Wow," She said. "Not very often the week lasts only two days. I guess that means we get the rest of the week off." She looked over at Hitoshi, who was staring at the place where Taka had stood a moment earlier. "No..." he whispered, all the memories flooding back. "I... I don't believe it... It's not true..." "Hey man," Hana-Kaida said, her good mood gone now that Hitoshi was so down. "It was bound to happen sometime. Everyone goes, one way or another." Hitoshi sighed. Not helping, Hana. He thought. Turning around, he ran from the street, leaving them all behind. He just needed some time to think.

OOC: Now that the week's over, you may enter the second week with new characters if you wish. All new entries must be posted in the OOC thread for me to accept or deny as I see fit.

Hitoshi stood on top of the building, looking down from Q-floor, watching the crowds of people live life in the scramble crossing. They all had places to go, most of them were rushing to get wherever they were going. Nobody seemed to notice anybody else, nobody cared enough to look at the people around them. Groups of teenagers were heading this way and that, laughing and talking and simply hanging out. Every one of them had a story, every one of them had a past. Somewhere, in that mass of individual souls, there was a business man who had cheated his way to a promotion, and another man who deserved the position but never stood a chance. There was a couple of guys, best friends, planning a surprise party for a gal friend of theirs. There was a little kid, seperated from his mom, scared that he would never see her again, while his mother frantically searched for him, not knowing that he was only a crosswalk away. There was a teenage boy, trying to get up the nerve tell his girlfriend that he loved her, and the girl avoided him because she was afraid he was cheating on her. All those people, and that barely scratched the surface of this amazing place called Shibuya. All those people, all those souls, had a timer on their lives as real as the timer of the game, even if they weren't as visible. Nobody knew how much time they had left, nobody knew how much they did that they would come to regret. Every single player that had been erased that day had a story, and it had ended for them. Who knew how many loose ends they had left behind? A boy that never cared now had no possibliity of ever experiencing the joy that comes from caring for someone. A girl that had a future ahead of her as a singer now would never be able to share her gift with the world. A dog waited patiently at his owners favorite spot, and had no way of knowing that his master would never pet him or Hachiko again. A boy with an unbearable fear of rejection would never find out that his parents hadn't left him of their own free will. Another boy, one who had never forgotten his sister, who had also lost her Game, would never remember her beautiful sacrifice again. And finally, Taka. Taka had never forgotten him, she had never forgiven him for leaving her and then when she needed him most, he had turned away, and let her down. "I never even told her I was sorry," he said. "I never even told her... that I cared."
