"What...the hell....where am I?" Surrounded by endless light, something Seth wasn't accustomed to in the slightest. It looked as if he was standing on large salt lake, surrounded for miles by nothing, and everything was white.

"Well this was a great idea, now not only do I not know my purpose, I don't know where to go!" Right as he finished ranting 3 doors appeared in the distance, the first was a beautiful white one with the golden plated words, "Door to light" on it. This second one was a grey simple looking door, on it were the faintly written words, "Door to the in-between". Behind Seth appeared a Dark, malicious looking door. Carved in red were words, "Door to Darkness", obviously the realm from which he came.

"Now what to do...I'm not going back, not until I find my place, but...where is that?"
Puzzled, Seth fiddled with his hair and pondered one of the most important decisions of his life.

"Hey Isamu!" Aya ran toward her twin brother and stood beside him, smiling up at him. "What's going on?" Isamu looked at his sister and smiled back. She always knew when something was up. It was like she had a special connection or something. Try as he might, he could never tell what was up with her. "I think we should take the portal to another realm," he said. "There's nothing for us here. It's high time we went and tried something else." He looked back up at the sky. "What do you think about that?" he asked her. Aya also looked up at the sky. The sun was shining down on the town, and it warmed her face. She had never even thought about possibly leaving, and couldn't imagine a world without light. It seemed... unnatural to her. But she would try, for Isamu's sake. She knew he hated it here, and she couldn't bear to see him unhappy. She would do anything for her brother. "Yes," she said. "I think that would be a good idea. At least for a little while." "Then it's decided." Isamu turned around, all business now that a clear path was presented to him. "We will leave the realm of light. Well," he faced his sister with a half-smile. "As soon as I find out how to leave."

OOC: Sorry, work has been kicking my ass, so I've had a hard time getting back to this RP. Now then...

The moment Arrow stepped through that door, he felt himself slip into unconsciousness. When he finally woke up, he was standing in a vast plain that seemed to stretch on to nowhere. In front of him was a fork in the road which split into three directions. On the intersection of these paths was a scruffy-looking middle-aged man in a tuxedo with raged dark brown hair that went down to the base of his neck. Arrow noticed that he was sitting on a worn-out guitar case.

As Arrow approached the old man, he also noticed that as he drew closer, the paths were beginnning to change; the path to his left led to a clouded sky with the faint rumbles of thunder and few flashes of lightning coming from the distance, the road to the right had a strang ray of sunlight pierce through the clouds, illuminating the road up ahead, and the gray cloud's in the middle road blanketed the sky completely, but he could feel a breeze coming from it.

"The door to Light", the old man said. "It's a power that answers to the desires of those with strong hearts, and leads them to that which they most desire."

The old man looked up at the great big cloud above them. "When a strong heart submits to it's own Darkness without being consumed by it for a long period of time, it eventually becomes tainted during the struggle between light and dark, and eventually becomes unstable."

Arrow put his hand to his chest and gripped his shirt tightly. Since he had woken up, he had felt this odd feeling in his chest, but he didn't know what it was. It was like his heart was surrounded by a slow-moving whirlwind.

"An unstable heart is a confused little thing", the old man said. "It's like a small child that doesn't know where to go after it's lost the mother that held it's hand for so long."

The old man tucked his sunglasses into the pocket in his blazer, revealing two pitch-black eyes with glowing yellow irises that pierced into Arrow's. "What I'm telling you, Keyblade Master Arrow Faerren, is that the light in your heart has gone to sleep, and it doesn't know whether it belongs to the darkness...", he stretched his left arm toward the storming path on the left, "...or the light", this time his right arm stretched to the path on the right.

Arrow looked at the cross he had pulled from his pocket earlier. He knew he had to go back to the light, so whatever this old man was talking about wasn't important.

The Old Man stood on his feet and held his guitar case in front of himself. He laughed a low, cackling chuckle from under his breath. "With a heart like yours, regardless of the path you choose, the struggle in your heart will eventually cause it to break even futher, and you will find yourself in Oblivion, where your heart will become empty and you will become an equally empty wandering shell. And if you do somehow return to the light, your unstable heart will become a beacon for the Heartless, and they in turn will distort the worlds even further than they already are."

Arrow clutched his cross and walked towards the right path. "I'll keep that in mind, but in the meantime, there are things I have to take care of. It sucks, but I'm not the kind of person to turn away from his responsibilities."

The old man unlocked his guitar case and swung it open. Inside was a void with strong wind sucking everything in front of it inside. "Then face your darkness and return to this world with a heart of Darkness and Light!"

Holding his cross tightly in his hand, Arrow jumped into the void and followed the wind that drew him inside.

And so the world went black.
