Kingdom Hearts II The real reason

Ever wondered why? Just why? The organization members attacked Sora, Donald and Goofy, in The world that Never was?
Was it,
A. Because he (Roxas) left the organization
B. Because if Sora continued, Kingdom Hearts would be in danger
C. So at least an organization member could have the keyblade, and use it for their own purposes, helping the organization.
D. All of the above

 

B is possible, but I think it was just because they got all the hearts they needed, so he was no longer useful to them.

 

I picked option B, but option A is also pretty plausible. But why put an 'all of the above' option in a multiple choice question where you can pick every option anyway?

 

hm i think choice d. nothing is surprising especially how Naive sora is.

 

B makes the most sense. Sora was going to kill Xemnas and endager kingdom hearts so they tried to stop him. if the members killed Sora they still couldn't get the keyblade...

 

Wait, if they killed Sora that doesn't mean they'd get the Keyblade. Where did you come up with that?

 

Well I thought, since if you defeat a keyblade wielder, as Sephiroth said, you get the keyblade. Thats what I gathered from the information.

 

Quite wrong, they don't even HAVE hearts, how could they wield it? The keyblade is a "mysterious sword" it picks someone it thinks will walk along light, without giving into the darkness on the other side. That's why Riku was the original master, when he gave into darkness, it chose Sora, because he fought the darkness, and had a pure heart.

 

But Roxas can wield Keyblade and he doesn't have hart... right? What ever, I choose A...

 

Because he's sora's nobody, it treats them the same. It's the only reason Xemnas let Roxas in the Org.

 

In addition to the fact that they don't have hearts, Nomura confirmed that more than one people can have more than one keyblade, even from the same realm. Meaning that if the keyblade chose any member of the org. they would already have it. If they killed Sora but weren't worthy to weild the keyblade, it would just go away.

 

They needed Sora originally because his keyblade could release the hearts from the heartless. The Organization collected the released hearts, and used them to make their own version of Kingdom Hearts (or something to that effect). Once that was completed, they no longer needed Sora (which was around when he arrived at TWTNW, so they decided to take him out then.

 

B is the most logical response, though A could be possible (sort of). Perhaps the Organization would want to take revenge since Roxas betrayed them. However, I'm sure it's more of B. Sora was used up in their eyes--no longer useful since Kingdom Hearts was completed. So if they did not eliminate him, Sora probably would have ruined their plans (which in the end, he did).
