I decided to rediscover the person that I used to be before KHV and came across my CD of the Rasmus album Dead Letters. I had a quick listen to it today and almost died of nostalgia of which I already have an overdose of. After listening to it I basically remembered the times when I used to sit in my room staring at my ceiling and listening to this on my now unplugged CD player. It's basically given me so much nostalgia I almost made a Facebook account.

Now then, I want to ask if you: remember the band, know if they are still on going, actually know of or have this album, if you still listen to it or if you too will be effected by heavy nostalgia from listening to it?

lol, "almost made a facebook account"

I remember the band, but only for their song "In the Shadows". IMO theyre a bit of a one hit wonder, tbh I dont think many people could name more than just that one song.

Careful Fayt, nostalgia overdose is incurable...except with more nostalgia B|

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOMG

Today I watched Arthur and was listening to music from the 90's and now this. I am in nostalgia central today.

I used to play that album constantly, my favourite song was always Still Standing.

I am going to find my album now, damn, its been forever since I listened to them.

    Thanks <3

I bought another album by The Rasmus, Hide From the Sun, which wasn't half bad. The only songs I owned off of Dead Letters were In The Shadows and Still Standing; I listened to them both a lot, I remember. I do think In The Shadows is probably their best song -- sometimes their lyrics are a bit forced/melodramatic IMO.

O.o They've been pretty big here since I was 3 feet tall xD
I think Dead Letters was their 4th or 5th album... My favorite son is 'Funeral Song' it's so beautiful and sad...
And yeah, they're still around, I think the latest album came out less than a year ago, so they're on tour right now (just got back from Mexico actually <.<)
Also, Lauri Ylönen (the singer) composed the music to some movie not too long ago, if I remember right.
