The Price of Living Forever

Dante put his guns away, but his gaurd wasn't down. "Any time. They didn't hurt you did they?"

 

Mya nervously smiled. Yes I'm fine right now. If you waited a little longer...it might have been nasty.

 

Estelle sudenly began crying at the sight of her dead parents corpses. "Oh no, oh no no no!" She leaned over her Fathers body and picked up the guns he tried to kill her with. Slowly she pocketed them -for keepsake- and walked away from the scene of carnage, she eventually broke into a run and began crying even harder and wailing even louder.

 

Vyce had entered yet another war torn town. UED soldiers were all over the place. "Pretty heavy security," Vyse stated as he watched a tank roll in from another street. Vyse had to make sure he wasn't spotted as he couldn't risk being found by the soldiers who apparently shot first and thought later. Soon he felt as if he was being watched and turned around. "Who's there?"

 

Dante smiled. "Yeah, it's a good thing that I saw you there." he said. "I'm Dante. What's your name?" he said, holding his hand out for a handshake.

 

Mya held her hand out nervously and shook it. My name is Mya. Nice to meet you Dante.

 

Dante looked arond nervously. "So why are you out here all by yourself?" he asked, confused.

 

Mya sighed. Well my friend is supposed to give me some supplies every week. Unfortunatly, he's a bit late today.

 

"Do you know where he is? Or are you waiting for him here?" Dante asked.

 

She scratched her head. Oh wait, I forgot he's not coming today. She sighed. I should really keep track of myself.

 

He laughed. "Maybe we should get out of here before those guys come back?"

 

OOC: may I have a recap please? I don't really have time to read more then one page at the moment.

 

Mya nodded. Yea we should. Do you know any place we can stay at?

OOC: You reay don't need a recap as nothing really much happened.

 

Dante thought for a moment. "Yes, I do. Follow me." He started walking down the road.

 

Helisi stood quietly in an alleyway, her palms of her hands pressed against the brick wall. She stared down at the pavement, listening to the sound of her heartbeat ring in her ears. She took in one deep breath, attempting to regain her breathing. She escaped from being killed by a UED member. Helisi turned her attention away from the ground and towards the side of the alleyway she had come in from. She narrowed her eyes and looked at the other end. She stepped away from the brick wall and began walking in that direction, wanting to get away from the place she was in.

 

OOC: *Looks at the other posts* I smell... ROMANCE! *Shot*

Kjerstie stumbled outside into the open air and blinked against the bright light. Even though she wasn't suppose to be outside, she felt cooped up in the little apartment. And a few minutes outside couldn't hurt... right? Her heart was still going, might as well greet the day. Kjerstie pulled her jacket around her as she walked towards the railing of the apartment. They were on the the third story, which offered them a nice view of the town. Kjersite would sometimes sit outside for hours, watching the city go on with its normal life.

Her fingers touched the metal railing as she stood there looking over the place. She saw some children playing with jacks on the street, and also playing hopsocth. Some people were walking below her, unaware that they were being watched by someone above. 'I wonder what Apollo is doing right now...'

 

Mya nodded and followed Dante.

 

Dante kept walking for about a mile until a faint path was visible on the left. It led to a door to an underground home. There was a large rock next to the doorway. "This is my little bunker. It's about the same size as a normal home for a family, so there is plenty of room. Nobody has found me here for a good 100 years so we should be safe." He looked around, making sure nobody followed them.

 

Once she felt like her nerves had calmed down, Helisi chose to wander around the streets. She kept her head down, not pay so much attention to the things around her. She heard very light murmurs of the people around her. She was glad she wasn't in a crowded area, even though being in crowded areas is easier to not be seen. She quietly sighed and turned a corner, entering an area where there were apartments. She came to a stop, seeing children playing out in the streets. Her eyes moved from each side of the street, seeing children's parents watching them play or talk to their neighbors. Helisi lowered her head once again, shaking it as she wanted to ignore any nostalgia.

 

Mya smiled at him. Not a bad place. She walked around the place.
