The origin of your username(s)

It is useful, but I do not have respect for it. I would rather have someone who thinks similarly than someone who will follow me for the sake of following me. Logic should always win. If I accept people who are loyal to me, then I have to accept people that are loyal to things other than me, and that is something I am not willing to do. While it might be good to have people loyal to me, it is an unnecessary evil and I do not like it. If I suddenly have a lapse of reason, I would not want my friends to stay loyal to me regardless of my actions. I would want them to follow reason. I cannot justify their loyalty by saying that I am thinking correctly at this moment.

 

Xakota: Random ass name I made for an RP character I made when I was like ten...I wanted something that sounded Japanese and this stuck.

Peace-and-War: First alter ego, it comes from my view that humanity has had an interesting balance of being at all times in either a state of peace or war with themselves and others. It's something I believe to be something unique to humans, to settle a peace with others or to spark a war with them, a dynamic tha twhich shapes us and the world. So I thought that it would be an interesting name to use. I always get referrences to War and Peace, though.

Dr. Doctor: A Doctor called 'Doctor'. I just like that idea. It also was quite effective in using medical terms and such in convesation. I thought it was orginal, but I don't know if it was.

Monkey King: The famous legendary Sage Equal of Heaven is a cheeky, rebellious figure from chinese mythology. I like how unorthodox he was and how well that worked for him, so I took on that name, since I find myself to be unorthodox in a number of fields.

Nobunaga: Oda Nobunaga is a famous historical figure in Japense history, during the Sengoku period he was the founder of what would begin the start of a new unified Japan. Starting as just upstart from Owari, he used his mind and skill in warfare to succeed where many otheers thought he would perish. And he has a quote that refelects a Creation/Destruction, Peace/War theme, so I thought it suited.

Afro: Came from the character name... well Afro from the Afro Samurai series. I used a Ninja Ninja avatar and I actually aacted like him a bit more then I ever had and it was weird, just seeing the avatar made what I type different. Anyway, I liked the dynamic of Afro's personality and how the world and people interacted with him all originating from the death of his father. That and Sameul L JaAckson voices him, mother****er!

PaWn: I blame a particular member for giving me this name, but I blame myself more for actually using it. Ah well, I was actually a pawn in the end. Ha!

I am: Just wanted to use that as a way to change my usetitle in a cool, hip way, so yeah that worked out...

I pick names if I like characters and originality. Ah well.

 

Guardian_Soul - It's the name of a keyblade. Not many people know this apparently. I chose this keyblade mostly because I'm an Auron fanboy and this is the one he gives to you. It also had an underscore when I first signed up because I thought we couldn't use spaces in our names >>;

Kyomu - Name of a character in one of the stories I'm writing. Kyo means void, mu means nothingness and together they mean nihility. I just liked the sound of it.

Phantasmagoric - I thought the word sounded cool. Simple as that.

 

KingdomKey13 ~ I highly doubt anyone remembers me as this, because I'm pretty sure I changed it before I was extremely active. Kingdom Key is the default keyblade. 13 was my favorite number. There ya go.

Thalassa_Shells ~ And this is the part where people start going OOHHH, THAT WAS YOU? Again, this was slightly before I was a more active member. Thalassa shells are what Kairi makes the lucky charm thing out of in KH1.

Fearless ~ I HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA. I think I just thought it was cool, and it grew on me. Also I may or may not be the reason normal members only get one name change >_>

 

Well, I posted this in another thread, but I'll post my reason here.

I guess it came out of Equinox and Aqua. I honestly have no idea how I made my username, but it's now my username everywhere, alongside TwinlightEqua, which came out of Twilight (not the franchise - it came out of Twilight Town, which is one of my favourite locations in the KH Series.)

Nouveau Nova - Comes from a song by Daedelus. Click the name to listen.

Sforzato - "Sforzando" is a sharp, accented note or critical point in a musical composition. I decided on a synonym/variation of the word because I like the "t" better than the "nd" there. Bit sharper.

(Some) Non-KH-V Screen Names

50,000 Unstoppable Watts! - More recent one, this is what I go by on the MSPA forums, and a few other places. It's a song by Clutch. Click to listen.

Hakushaku - Roughly "Count" in Japanese. As in Count of Monte Christo or somesuch. Sounds cool to me.

Mr. Saturday - Ambiguous reference to Baron Samedi, "Samedi" being "Saturday" in... Haitian? I think?

And I'll stop there, but sweet Jesus I could pretty well septuple that number and still not list every SN I've ever used. I think I have a problem.

 

French, which is slightly redundant because Haitians speak French.

Sort of. It's probably kind of like France-French compared to Quebec-French. Some words are different.

 

Okay I love stars and draw them on everything. Then, I love the time midnight it seems such a magical and enchanting time.

On top of this I first used it as a character (based on myself) in stories I wrote. It was originally just star but I added the midnight later as I thought it sounded good, now I prefer to just use Midnight.

finalform32: I was obsessed with KH2 and I just kinda took the name really. It was actually inspired by one of my friend's old Runescape accounts. I remember coming on here for help with Xaldin. I was level 40 on standard. couldn't beat it xD And that is how I was born joined KHV. No other names as of now.

Back in my n00b days of 2007 where Ifancied my favourite character was Zexion, sadly that name was taken so I went with his somebodies name.

Nova is sexy... was a dare from Sforzato, a.k.a Nova. And he is sexy of course.
