Pyrɸ: Before this, technically it was Pyrɸmaniac. Everyone called me Pyrɸ, so I shortened it for my own sake. I liked it better that way. And before Pyrɸmanica, it was *insert my real name here*01. I'll forever be Pyrɸ. The one with funky oh~.

Princess Luna: Because I'm a pony!! I love my ponies. Ponies are cool. I watch ponies on tv. Ponies run through my mind. Ponies are s---yeah.

McLoser Lame Face: Hmm...I think...Uh...I think it was on a whim. Great name indeed. :3

Silly Billy: Back in high school, classmate called me silly billy. Resulted in the entire friend circle calling me silly billy. So why not?

Papayyyyyyrɸ~: When prem's were rainbow...a long name was a lovely way to taste the rainbow see the rainbow.

lolwutgtfo o: : lol another one made on a whim. I think it was connected to something happening at my family thread at the time of. Hmm...

Light Yagami: Ohhh...It was due to the epic success of the DN Game. A great round of the DN Game that almost lasted a week inspired it. I being Kira in that round changed my name to Light Yagami, Repliku to L, and ICSP to Shinigami Ryuk (after the round was over, of course). It even inspired a great picture by cocohints, one of the greatest artist/friend/mentor I made on KHV.

lilbueno/LilBueno - my brother's tag was Mr. Bueno. He used it for his email, gamer tags, everything. Everyone always called me a little version of him so I used lilbueno when I needed an online alias.

Treasoner - After Kazuma from S-Cry-ed, my favorite anime and one of my favorite characters.

Mαinstяεαm - After I learned everyone on KHV were "art hall people" that hated everyone mainstream, I chose this because I like the mainstream (specifically music) and am proud of it.

Resin - I smoke weed. I wanted a name change and I was about to smoke the resin out of my pipe. Plus, it sounds cool.

Snow Villiers - best character in FFXIII, which I just beat.

Pretty Boy Frontman - I was on a Rent binge.

Gravity Child - too much Air Gear

White (Christmas) Knight - My chistmas themed name. I couldn't think of a good Christmas related comic book character (because the Winter Soldier is an assassin, not a seasonal hero) and I found a picture of Batman dressed as Santa Claus. So Dark Knight became White (Christmas) Knight.

Carter Hall - Hawkman's real name. Hawkman in Smallville was so awesome and it taught me a lot about the character I didn't know (like his real power is ****ing resurrection, and the wings are a harness not biological) and made me do research on older heroes. I chose this to honor him

Mario Savio - Because there's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your body upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it -the people who own it- that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all! Red Robin - Timothy Drake is the best goddamn Robin to exist and is ****ing better than Batman and anyone with a differing opinion can suck Dick Grayson.

Boy Wonder - I went on a Jason Todd reading streak and realized I love all the Robins so instead of choosing, I simply went by this. Though Timothy's still the best.

Shell Bullet - Again, from S-Cry-ed.

Webhead - Ultimate Spider-man died ; ; it was heartbreaking. I had shivers. I wanted something to do with him (my last avatar was as he was swinging on his way to his last battle). If I just went by Spider-Man, I thought that was too cliche. So I picked Webhead, something he's been called. My current signature is after he died; that's Uncle Ben patting him in the back.

When I was young, I was friends with this guy who was trying to learn Japanese, and he told me that my name translated into Japanese was Marushi. I liked it, and I thought it was cute, so when I created an account here, I picked that as my username. I don't know if it's really Japanese or not, but it's grown on me over the years. I think it fits. :)

 

Was thinking of names for a character, it came up, i thought it sounded cool so i decided to use it.

 

My name has a bit of a complex meaning. It is a combination of two words in Japanese.

The first word is Ma, meaning evil or of the Devil. It is the polar opposite of Kami, meaning divine or of God.

The second is Kaze, meaning wind.

They combine to form Makaze, which means an ill favored wind or the storm sent by the Devil. It is the polar opposite to Kamikaze, meaning a divine wind or the storm sent by God.

Kamikaze was a term used for Japanese soldiers who committed suicide by flying their planes into the ships of their enemies in World War II. This was praised as an expression of deep loyalty to one's country. I seek to be an antithesis to this principle. I do not look kindly on loyalty.
