Devil May Cry 4: The Order Of Purification

Author's Notes: I do not own Devil May Cry, Capcom or any of the characters from the series. I do not own the story as this is my own work while some of the lines can be referenced from the TGS Trailer of DMC4.

The intro chapter is similar to the first cutscene of DMC 3. You will recieve only bits and pieces of infomation of the story and then I end it at a cliffie XD

    Intro: Bloodshed

The Order of The Demon Blade…

    Vengeance…

    Rebirth…

    Revival…

    Corruption..

    Rebellion…

    Red Queen…

    …

Dante kicked a man in strange red and white robes fiercely, “Come on, man,” he taunted, “that all you got because from where I'm looking the Order Of The Demon Blade aint much…”

The man gritted his teeth angrily, “Die, traitor!” he shouted, pulling his Red Queen up fiercely along the ground, sparks flew as the metal collided on the ground “Die, you ******!” as he used both hands to bring the weapon up for a horizontal slash.

Dante smirked, “Pathetic fool,” he said, and raised Rebellion. He parried the man’s blow effortlessly, “Say hello to my friends in hell.”

Dante focused his dark energy into his fist, enhancing his strength greatly. He punched the man in the ribs and the sickening sound of something crushed echoed in the air. The sudden force made the man step back, however, the demon hunter wasn’t quite finished yet. Dante somersaulted in the air, and kicked the man furiously in the chest, sending him flying into the ruined stonewall. Dante slotted Rebellion back into its sheath and took out Ebony and Ivory from his belt and fired rapidly. Bullets collided into the man’s forehead, killing him on impact, sending his soul to the other world.

Dante shoved Ebony and Ivory in their respectful places, “Now…who shall be my next victim?” he declared as he continued walking down the halls of the temple. He smiled, for there were three young adults in the same uniform as the man he had just killed earlier, “I think you three will be!”

“There he is!” shouted the one in the middle, “Kill him! Kill him now!” he ordered as he brought up his sword, an exact replica of the Red Queen that the man earlier had.

The two beside him nodded and unsheathed their weapons in union, yelling a loud battle cry as they charged at Dante, “Traitor! The bloodline has been soiled!”

“Come now,” Dante said, faking hurt, “That’s not very nice,” unsheathing Rebellion and charged towards the three, “So I’m going to teach you boys a lesson!” He swung his sword into the chest of the one in the middle, killing him immediately. The blade from the man's hand released at his sudden death fell towards the ground but Dante caught the blade in a split second, "I love a good brawl."

The two remaining man gasped in horror and marvel at Dante's brutal attack. However, they quickly dismissed their fear and brought their weapons down for an attack. They just weren’t fast enough as Dante back-flipped away from the two and seemed to hover in mid-air. He slashed both weapons down the centre of their heads and landed on all fours. All was silent as the men then spitted in half from the critical blow, “Pfft,” Dante muttered, throwing the Red Queen down like a spear on the floor, skewering the first dead soldier, “That’s it? Where’s the fun in that?”

    …

Nero gripped his modified Red Queen angrily as Dante walked through the Gathering Chamber, “ I believe you have something that belongs to me…” Dante said sinisterly, pointing Rebellion at the teenager, “and I want it back.”

“Why…” Nero spat out, “…Why are you doing this?”

“Simple,” Dante replied with a shrug, “Because you have something I want…something that is mine and mine alone!”

Nero brought Red Queen up for a high guard and shifted into a defensive stance, “So you couldn’t have just asked me for the damn thing?” he shouted, as he charged towards Dante, “What’s so special about my power that I possess you must have?”

Dante smirked as he unsheathed Rebellion, “That’s none of your business, boy. You really think you’re a match for me?” he asked, “Show me then, boy, and let’s play!”

Nero thrust his sword at Dante’s chest, but proved to be futile as his opponent parried the attack quickly, and brought up his own weapon for a combo of his own, “Too slow!” Dante snarled.

Nero parried each slash skilfully, and smirked, “I don’t think so,” he replied and hand palmed Dante in the stomach pushing him back, “Chew on this!” he shouted driving his sword towards Dante's chest.

Dante gritted his teeth angrily as he jumped back, “Impressive,” he muttered. The demon hunter twisted his body to kick Nero in the face with the hilt of his boot but was however, unable to dodge the full strike of the attack leaving a rather large scar across Dante’s temple.

Nero winced from the counter attack but shrugged it off as he leapt to his feet, “You like that?” he said with a smirk, “There’s more from where that came from!”

Dante gritted his teeth and sprinted towards the lone altar. He turned around and took out Ebony and Ivory from his belt and fired repeatedly at Nero as he jumped back to take cover from the altar.

Nero ducked behind a long wooden hazel chair to draw out a firearm of his own, a wide broad pistol. He fired in reply, but none of his bullets hit its mark, “Dante!”

He stood up as he put away his firearm and unsheathed Red Queen, “Tell me…what is it that you want?” as he walked towards the altar.

Dante stood up and, his eyes shining sinisterly, “What I want is…”

Ohhh…cliffie…but this is just the introduction! evil laughter

Wow. Vi-o-lence.... Blood and gore much? This is so much darker than the fics I write... and I like. XD Hmm, Very interesting. I don't have much to say as I don't have much to go on, but I really want to see Dante in action more as well as to figure out what the heck is going on.

Man I love the insanely cryptic. :excitment: More please. :D
