It's an easy mistake, they look identical. xD I always remember it as E for Ewoks on Endor.

But has anyone been reading the new webcomic? I lost interest in it after realizing it was about the Sith, lol.

I haven't had much time for it nowadays. I haven't even finished the one about Satele. I don't like reading comics or manga online, I prefer holding them. Anyway, what's been happening in it?

The first one was a lot better than this current one. I read like 3-4 pages and was just like "... ugh." The main character just felt very flat, if that makes sense.

Also, if you don't like reading online they're supposedly releasing an actual comic sometime in the summer.

I would if I could, but I'm not 18 and my computer can't even handle The Sims 2. :c

Has anyone been reading the Blood of the Empire webcomic? I lost interest after Threat of Peace ended, but I'm thinking about giving Blood another go.

Edit: Oh, there's a new video in the holorecord thing! FINALLY SOMETHING ABOUT REVAN.
Sadly it's nothing new, but it's nice to see them throwing KotOR fans a bone. :> I wish they'd given him a proper ending though. :c

Like I posted previously my friend's part one of the testers, mainly becasue he loves Star Wars and owns his comparable supercomputer PC that he built himself, lucky son of a pitch. And, like Misty, I can barely play downloaded games let alone this powerhouse of a game Xp

I'm just glad their on schedule with the game, that means the Q1 2011 is likely to be true.

New trailer looks pretty rad, I didn't get to see all of it because my computer didn't want to play nicely, but Alderaan... :'D

haha i agree the trailer looked sick! but like i said...for the not hardcore into starwars fans...it might not have been such a big deal.

but im hopeing that it does well and pushes WoW to a higher level of creativity...

Part of the reason I (and a lot of other people) are so excited about TOR is because it's going to bring story to the MMORPG world. With WoW, I feel like it's just kind of "okay there's this world. Have fun."

Plus having the entire thing voice acted... wow.

Yeah, Bioware are changing the genre of MMORPG alot from the original conventions, being fully voiced with an actual plot to the game. The very fact Bioware are making it tells me it's a good game anyway.
And i have to say the actual Star Wars films were pretty good, but I've found the Expanded universe to be much more rewarding story wise, and my introduction was through The Knights Of The Old Republic series anyway. Even if you're not hardcore, a good game is still a good game at the end of the day., and this could make anyone more of a fan.

The demo looked a little rough, but it still looks good. I'm still conflicted about given the DC Universe and FF14.

Okay, so I just (finally) watched the Hope of Alderaan trailer thing.

First of all, why are there Stormtroopers? This is like 3600 BBY, Stromtroopers wouldn't be around for another thousand years. I guess they could be Republic soldiers but they bear far too much resemblance for my taste.
Secondly, is that chick Satele? The braids & the lightsaber scream Bastila.

Lies, my eyes are on this since I bought a gaming PC pretty much for this game, so it better be worth it!They still say this is coming out 2011 so i'm expecting the holiday period. IF it slips into 2012... i'll not be a happy chappy!
That trailer, yes beautiful, like all trailers before, they should just make a film using that tech, it'd be awe inspiring!

Half of the reason I'd like to upgrade my computer is for this game. <3
They do keep saying 2011, I hope it won't be a KotOR II type situation and they'll rush to have it out by Christmas. Then again, as The Fuk? mentioned, the game has been in production for a really long time--I believe almost three years?--so it probs won't be much of a concern.

The trailers are really amazing but it does bother me that the game won't actually look like that--which is to be expected from an MMO, and the game's actual art has grown on me, actually. I do think a CGI movie like this could be cool (KOTOR MOVIE YESSSS), but Satele's face bothered me a little. It seemed kind of awkward, in a way? That might just be because I lurve her so much (<3), but I preferred her design in the Hope trailer. Then again, I believe this was pre-Hope trailer, so they may have been attempting to show her younger.
I'm a little upset too that her voice is identical to Bastila's, too. I mean Jennifer Hale did a magnificent job on Bastila, and I fully support her doing Satele's voice acting too, but I imagined Satele to be a little less... uptight sounding?

I did really like the Smuggler Guy too, haha. Classic Star Wars archetype, I suppose, but it's still nice to see. <3

I still loved KOTOR 2, it was so much more involved then the first, even if it did go off the rails some times and had a number of glitches, but that's what you get for buying a game made by Obsidian. But I doubt this has been rushed by Bioware, and is one of the reason its release date keeps slipping, I guess. And I think it's been about 5 years of development, when it was announced to be in development in 2006? I read it somewhere, I think.

Most of the graphical quality they've shown of the game is on a Medium type setting, so that they won't have to worry about any performance issues like lag, so hopefully it looks a lot better on a up to date PC.

Bastilla's voice had of a more 'posh-British' accent Hale put on for her. Satele is more akin to Hale's natural accent and voice, like when she plays FemShep in Mass Effect. And I guess being a devote Jedi in general means you're uptight. Not to mention the galatic wide war going, even i'd be a bit highstrung with my voice! : P

Smuggler class = Han Solo wannabe. Still I do like him. And very Sith at the end of the trailer. Ironic that a Sith Pureblood Master is killed in the outskirts of Korriban space by their student who says 'Welcome home'. Filled with loads of Star Wars themes in that little sequence!
