    Well that didn't take long.

Wooo but once this launches I will definitely be playing the game haha. I tried out the free trial and would be willing to buy the game, but never pay a monthly fee. Seems like the sort of thing I'd only play when I was really ored.

Is level 15 a reasonable level to play the game at?

I got to level 37 for my Sith Agent, so hopefully I can complete the story and not reach the 50 limit. As that will be the only reason I'll play the game again.

So what about subscriptions already paid for? Do we get more or a reduced price or a refund or something?

Unfortunate, stories are decent if a little unappealing at times, but very good game to waste time on.

I'd say that's the first two planets, meaning the prologue which last about 10 hours or so if you're new.

You get a feeling for all the features and stuff by that point for sure.

I can't say I didn't see this coming. The F2P model with a cash shop has become a very popular system among MMOs.

I might actually play The Old Republic when this launches. I've never been too big on subscriptions. They usually make me feel like I'm forced to play almost every single day or else I'm wasting it.

So if I really fall in love with it I'd consider subscribing.

Huh. I guess the game is failing already. Might try it when it's f2p but I don't plan on leaving Tera for awhile.

Lol well now that I won't have to pay anything I'll probably start playing more often again. I actually liked the game for the story, but I always felt like they could have just made another KotOR with all the story and lore they crammed into this MMO. A couple more KotORs actually. Once it goes free to play I guess I'll finish up my level 46 Sith Warrior.

That's what they were essentially shooting to do. Unfortunately I don't think anything of that nature could compete with having a satisfying conclusion to the still very unfinished series.

Sweet. So who wants to bet that if I wait till around December there will be no level limit?

Eh, I'll try it. If I can beat the game pre-lvl50 then I'll be happy. Happy to run in parties with people as well.

When it becomes F2P, I'll give it a look. I'm not sure how great it will be. But it'll be worth a shot./

You really don't have anything to lose, at that point. But they are currently running a free trial where you can play up to level 15, if anyone is dying to play it before it goes totally free. Problem is that the installation takes forever, you've got a looooot of gigs of stuff to install.

My computer wasn't quite up to par for it, though--I could play fine but on the lowest settings, so it was nothing visually stunning. I'd have to upgrade a bit before playing, but that's merely a cosmetic thing.

Yeah, I wish they'd have just done a new game, no book, no MMO, no terrible ending to Revan's story, and just tie it in with KotOR I & II in a decent way.

Damn, I don't have that much space left on my computer after all the games I got on Steam recently. And my computer probably wouldnt run it all that well anyways.

    :c

Honestly I remember it being some kind of crazy amount when I played it, something like 30GB. It didn't seem right. Hopefully they sort that out somehow.
